Well, there is actually a renaissance flute in there. There's also a celtic flute that sings out briefly during the last chorus. :) I love my flute sounds in medieval music, and it was a joy to weave them with Roxane's beautiful strings.

Witchers only kill monsters of that you'd be correct. But what you seem to forget or rather would rather not believe is that men can be worse than any beast of the wild.
Dosent matter. Each witcher is unique. Some evil, some morally good, some neutral. I choose neutral. "Do as you will, harm no one, do not judge." I interpret as let people make their choices, defend yourself, don't judge them. Let them do as they please.
The song is beautiful, but man or monster? Does Geralt had ever killed someone by contract? I know some do it, especially the Cats, but I don't remember reading such about Geralt himself o.O
