Joe makes a heck of a valiant efforts, but that weak ass affected falsetto just aint great. He's 64 and was 24 when he sangs these songs probably never dreaming for minute he'd be doing that 40 years later. A+ for effort, C- for results, drop the key Joe?
When I saw the C- comment I was rather surprised, I read the comment before listening to it, I saw them a few days ago and he sounded better then he has in years, and I've seen them 23 times, joe had vocal cord issues at times which thankfully have been resolved. I had thought maybe he was having a bad night. I listened to it, and I thought he sounded great, yes he's 64, and on some songs over the years, hysteria for example, he sings in a lower register for that song. That man can still hold a note longer than anyone I've heard, my 21 year old daughter tried on photograph, she could come nowhere close, and she's a great singer, more power to you joe!
You know nothing about singing. The reason Joe is singing in falsetto is because it’s the only way to save his voice and make him do this on a yearly basis. He can not scream every show. And sound 25 again. Not possible. Falsetto is the next best solution. And he does it AMAZING. And he can still hit all the high notes it’s just done at a way higher key. And no they don’t have to drop any sort of key or make the song slower. He’s singing it in a perfectly balanced range. Do not comment on how he sounds if you have no idea why he’s doing it. It’s not because he can’t sing. It’s to save his voice from horrible damage. He has not screen sang since 1993.
@@WildTaper Dude GFY (hopefully, since you are so smart you can figure it out) . I sang in bands in my 20-40's, that falsetto is weak to my ears, I saw him in 1983 and again in 87' he was great here he's just ok to my ears (which have been listening to Leppard since before the debut album dropped) my opinion , BRO DO NOT get on YT and tell people what they should think. I didn't say you have to feel like I do, you're entitled to your own opinion, but telling me I don't know what I am talking about when I was a fucking lead singer for a cover band that did Foolin' and Mirror Mirror in the 90's is the height of idiocy ....
Absolutely a great band!
