Hey folks! Breakfast talking about Nate starring in a movie put a scene in my head of Nate looking out his doorless house seeing his neighbor stealing bags of leaves. A movie based on the lives of the 4 of you but as neighbors would be hilarious for us Natelanders.
My girlfriend surprised me with tickets to the show in Atlanta as an early Christmas gift! We had such a great time I've decided to propose this Sunday.
In October we went on a trip to Scotland. We took a bus tour from Edinburgh to Loch Ness. The entire town is built around tourism for the monster. I sent Dusty a picture that I took on the boat tour while there. It was an incredible day.
After listening to the 2 mythical creature episodes, I wasn’t finished with my dishes yet so still needed some entertainment and went back and started Dusty’s first episode as a guest. The topic was dinosaurs and the conversation was almost identical. They may be talking about the same things 2 years later but we are still having a good time.
Yes it’s his money…. He earns it! If you ask him it’s our money! After seeing the show he said go ahead and give them the gift cards. A small token of our appreciation for all the laughs!
Amazing how much I look forward to this podcast. Keep it clean and stay away from politics ! Be positive and Add in a little southern humor. Great fun!
Y’all should do a bracket fight for all these mythical creatures! I can’t imagine what kinds of hilarious antics you could come up with when we don’t know a lot about what all they can do and how they would defend themselves.
Thought I was alone in the contest of watching Nateland when it dropped only to be tired at work and mad later bc I already watched it. Also I'm competing for longest sentences
We’ve all heard Dusty, Brian and Aaron’s bombing stories so can we get Nate to explain the Manningcast showing? Nate didn’t seem very Nate like and I thought he seemed under the weather. As one of my favorite comedians, it was strange to see him in a situation like that. LOVE the podcast and all of you guys. 🤚 🐻
❤❤❤I love all of you and your podcast keeps me sane!! I feel like you are all part of my family!! I just became a grandmother for the first time and just wanted to share this with my adopted family!!!😂 I have been a fan since before the pandemic and you kept me positive.!! I would love to see any of you in person but unfortunately I have been diagnosed with long Covid. Please keep the podcast going for those of us that are not able to access premium channels. Love you so so so very much ❤❤❤❤❤❤!!!!
Never worked anywhere cool enough to have a great comedian at a Christmas party! Driving to Grand Rapids from Metro Detroit to see Aaron in May and then seeing Dusty in my hometown of Royal Oak in June! Keep up the great work guys.
My mom gave us an early Christmas present that will allow us to see either Nate or Dusty in February in Wisconsin. While we love you both and it was a hard choice, we chose to see “Not 50,000”! 😂 Looking forward to seeing the special in January! We’re having a good time.
NOAA was probably birthed 200 years ago. When you’re living on the coastline, and you’re dealing with shores and tides, or if you’re in the fishing industry… the science behind the ocean and weather forecasts are very important.
I love Dusty and admire his desire to think outside the box and question things. However, with peace and love, I really wish this guy would just take a few classes or something to help him understand analytical thought and science/scientific literacy. Its clear he is looking for answers but keeps bumping into stuff he doesnt quite understand and often wants to reject. When our ideas cant be reconcilled with reality, it is upsetting for most. I think he would be much more fulfilled if he were to dig a little deeper into the tools we use to think about and understand things, and how we arrive at theories.
It seemed like Aaron was the one who doesn’t quite understand evolution and didn’t have many answers. Evolution is an idea, that has not been reconciled with reality, which is why it remains a theory. Dusty did just fine.
I feel like Brisket is the teacher trying to stop the class from misbehaving. This podcast is the highlight of my week. I live in New Braunfels, TX just outside of San Antonio. I’ve got front row seats for Nate’s San Antonio show next April. I can’t wait. Also I’ve been hoping for a special from Dusty, excited for that too. My prediction for 2024 is Brisket and Aaron will get a Netflix special too. I drive a lot for work so I listen to all of your specials, even Briskets. Merry Christmas!
Just saw Nate in Ottumwa Iowa and he brought down the house!! We drove 1.5 hours home laughing all the way!! Thank you 🙏 to all of you for making this a memorable Friday night... even for those of us in our 60's!! ❤❤
Every soccer player I have ever met is typically a die hard fan who knows everything about their team; whereas, I haven’t met as many swimmers with the same excitement. I personally think Dusty would blend in, but Big Toe Bates would quickly get noticed by the committed fans to that team.
We need a two-parter with Breakfast training with a football team for 7 days so that he could play at the weekend, and Dusty training with a swimming team so that he could compete in a swimming contest. You guys need to make this happen.
I sat in those rear seats for the Sunday show in ATL. The seats were great and were $40 ($60 after fees). The show was great! At the end of the show when everyone came back out we shouted "MICK" a bunch to try to get attention. Nate noticed us, made Mick aware, and we got a wave from both of them - Cherry on top. Thanks for the laughs.
Are we sure Joanna Marie Zimmerman isn’t Joe Zimmerman undercover? Based on his podcast appearance it sounded like a comment he might have submitted. 😂🤣

I’ve been immersed in the sport of swimming for many years and I commented this several episodes ago. The big guys taper and shave most everything and if Dusty is going to be adequately prepared to take down Danielle or anyone else, shaving is a part of that process!!
Two episodes in a row Aaron doubles down on the importance of settling on Mars. How bad has it got to be that Mars looks more appealing than Earth? Nobody settin' up house in Antarctica or The Sahara now. With manageable temps & good air! BTW, if the sun explodes the whole solar system is up a creek. So, explore Mars but just admit it's a novelty (like the moon) and not a necessity. You'll get more on board than the "Chicken Little - Sky's Falling" sales pitch.
“The What?” Funniest line - in a show I absolutely never fail to laugh at - in a very very long time. I had to pause and rewind after laughing myself into a coughing fit. Dusty Slay GOLD
I’ve always been a strong swimmer but never swam laps in an Olympic style pool until I was in my mid twenties when I incorporated it into my work out at a gym. One thing I found surprisingly difficult was swimming in a perfectly straight line while keeping my face under water. I would smack the lane dividers constantly the first week or so. Make it much more difficult than I ever expected. This Dusty and Nate race is going to be hilarious.
I think the idea of scientists trying to breed hairy elephants in order to get the wooly mammoth is hilarious. Trying to cross an elephant and a jacket. I wonder if with every attempt at splicing genes they turn to each other with fingers crossed and say “Go Jackets!”
Those of us in Hurricane Alley rely heavily on NOAA as they are the up to date source of all the hurricane data that meteorologists use for their forecasting. They'll eventually get overshadowed once the rest of the world is introduced to the power of NOSO. Thanks for all you do to bring some light of laughter in the far too many dark corners - Can't wait to see you back in Corpus Christi next year Nate!

After re-watching this episode and after watching breakfast run during the Eclipse special I can confidently say he WILL NOT blend in on the soccer field. Love you all!
Dusty will adamantly proclaim that there’s no reason why someone couldn’t go scan Loch Ness to find Nessy, then 2 min later when he’s told someone did just that, he’ll deny it with a casual “nah, I bet they didn’t”. The man asks for proof, then rejects proof 100% of the time. How is anyone supposed to prove anything to this man?
I love this podcast and I have been listening since the beginning. Lately every episode has turned into a list of things that Dusty doesn't believe in. I really respect Aaron trying to explain widely accepted concepts to him.
Nate’s idea of testing how many yards Breakfast could gain in the NFL has me intrigued. If we’re betting, I have $100 that he couldn’t get 5 yards if he turned around immediately and ran towards his own end zone. Keep up the incredible work, fellas. Big fan of all four of you. Doug Littlejohn
Congrats Dusty! Can't wait to see your special! Saw Nate Nick and Nate's Father in Atlanta... AMAZING! Who was the comic after Nick with the guitar? He was very funny too!
I know it is very niche, but I wish Broken Plates would have found information on the Squonk. It is a cryptid from Northern Pennsylvania. It can be heard weeping constantly, and is so ugly it avoids it’s own reflection.
I know the anti college jokes are just in good fun, but Nate and Dusty have very inquisitive minds, I think they would actually enjoy college coursework very much. Studying subjects that you’re interested in that are taught by talented and engaging teachers is a pretty amazing and fulfilling experience. The pursuit of knowledge is never a wasted endeavor and we should all strive to be lifelong learners.
Canadian loch ness = Ogopogo in Okanagan Lake in BC hehe 🐉 Also, was gifted tickets to Nate’s Vancouver show on Jan 28 for christmas/my birthday (it’s jan 29)… can’t wait!!
Okie here! We also dissected owl pellets in middle school and cats in high school. While interesting, studying the cat involved breaking some of their bones and I had to leave the room because the sound made me sick!
Brian is talking about the ogopogo . Its the creature that is apperantly in the lake that i can see feom my house (okanagan lake) actually Aaron would have seen this lake when he did the tour with John Christ. Tourism is huge here but i dont think anyone is coming to find the ogopogo
The last 10 minutes of this episode is peak Nateland. I've not laughed so hard in a while as I did at the dog girl on a date bits that the BAND collectively riffed on the fly. The "Air Bud" origin story was way too understated to start the ball rolling.
I took "Evolution of Human Mating" in college and we learned a lot about other animals' mating habits. There is a type of male squid that evolved to look like the females because that's how it sneaks past other males to fertilize the eggs. There's also a type of spider where the male does a mating dance for the female. If he does it wrong, she kills him and eats him. They evolved on two sides of a mt. range and on one side, the males are smaller but stand close to the female when they dance. On the other side the males are larger but stand further away when they dance... So either way, from the perspective of the female, they actually appear to be the same size. It's really cool
Dusty, I can get behind your theories on dinosaurs on space. But the one thing I WILL NOT stand for is the fact that you think you could blend in with olympic swimmers. Nate, Aaron, and Brick, this is what is known as the dunning-krueger effect, which you learned on the psychology episode. This is when somebody is so incompetent at something, they are unaware of how bad they are. Maybe they should change the name to the Dusty-Krueger effect.
The Canadian Loch Ness monster is Ogopogo Ehhh that got me hyped, I’m from Edmonton, Alberta, and I remember growing up and taking trips to B.C. And hearing the fables of the beast yooo
200 years ago, in a world where sailing was far more important to the country’s commerce, the NOAA was very necessary. It’s like back in the day, the postmaster general was a presidential cabinet position.
I wonder if Dog-Girl's boyfriend tells everyone she's his emotional support girlfriend and she wears a vest that says "Do Not Pet". Great episode. I need the age of NOAA to be a running joke for all of 2024.
The Loch Ness monster discussion reminds me of a “documentary” I watched during shark week. These jokers were convinced Megladon was still alive. It was cheesier than Beandip’s callbacks.
I forgot i left a comment on the first episode, it was quite shocking to see my comment read lol my last name is actually pronounced "Hoon" despite the spelling. Its always read as hun but never in a million years did i think id hear it coming out of nates mouth. Awesome!
I love how people are grilling Aaron for saying if the sun explodes we should go to Mars, but Nate and Dusty's solution was to just go underwater on earth and we are cool with that 😂
Although I agreed with Nate on a lot of what he said about making things for the people now and focusing on the moment… I will say, Aaron has a point as well, I believe it was literally on the inventions episode that you guys talked about how someone was trying to make a radar during war times to help, and it didn’t work out, and that technology became the microwave…. I think that helps both Nate and Aaron’s argument
Brian and Aaron, I just read “Out of the silent planet” by CS Lewis, and that might seem like a weird connection to a comedy podcast. I know faith is a part of all your lives, and I’m curious if it would change some of your thoughts on space exploration in light of a Christian worldview. I know it did mine! It’s a fiction book but Lewis is an intentional author. Always love the podcast and listening to the conversation while I’m washing dishes.
On Wednesday I kept complaining to my coworkers and wife that it was the longest day/week of my life. Everything felt off… this morning I realized I missed the podcast for the first time and now it all makes sense!
I want to start a betting pool for how many episodes in a row we'll see the guys reignite the debate about Dusty as a swimmer. I love that Dusty refuses to back down. I have to say, if we learned anything from the Bumbled Breakfast Base Steal, Bates will be outed the moment he picks up the soccer ball at midfield because he "thought it was out of bounds." Let's go bear jackets, folks!
I think the best way for Biscuit to blend in on the soccer field is to run up to the ball, fake an injury and sit out the rest of the game😅 Love the podcast, you guys are awesome!!
Y’all have TWO episodes of mythical creatures and not one mention of the leprechaun in Mobile, AL!?!? What a shame. Also, for what it’s worth, I side with Dusty on the swim stuff vs Brian blending in on pro soccer.
I’m the magician from Aaron’s corporate event and in his defense, we learned afterwards that half the audience didn’t speak English 😂
Let’s be honest Aaron could bomb in every language - brought to you by Babbel….
this is hilarious
Now THAT is funny 😂😂😂
@@MrEzekiel1982 pauses for 7 minutes*, language for life.
That’s great. Reminds me of the time I was hired to play trumpet at a church where the majority of the congregation was deaf 😂

The idea of a BatesAdvisor for reviewing events is hilarious. “I give it 3 out of 5 breakfasts”
My girlfriend surprised me with tickets to the show in Atlanta as an early Christmas gift! We had such a great time I've decided to propose this Sunday.
What would have happened if you didn’t have such a great time?
"You look like a thumb" is such a hilarious, nonsense put down. Love it.
We’ve got the release date for Dusty’s special saved in the calendar! Can’t wait!
when I started watching this podcast I never thought "this is going to end up with these dudes in swimsuits"
The benefit of not being able to sleep is i get to watch Nateland first thing in the morning!
Definitely the way to do it!
The first 20 min of today's episode is the proof of concept for an episode all about bombing. "I'm good at comedy." 😂
If the whole goal is to blend in I think the best idea would be Dusty and Aaron being a duo in either a darts or cornhole league
Great fun!
SAME!! MAKES ME SMILE
Dusty arguing against God needing to use evolution is the most rational and logical that he has ever been on this podcast.
Y’all should do a bracket fight for all these mythical creatures! I can’t imagine what kinds of hilarious antics you could come up with when we don’t know a lot about what all they can do and how they would defend themselves.

It's a joke on a podcast with comedians. Goodness

I love how people are grilling Aaron for saying if the sun explodes we should go to Mars, but Nate and Dusty's solution was to just go underwater on earth and we are cool with that 😂
I'd love to see you guys on other podcasts, it's always a treat when I here yall mentioned by other comedians/podcasters
Congratulations on the Netflix special Dusty! So cool. What is that process like?
Ooo ooo ooo! Aaron, I would love that cryptozoology class! Sounds really interesting.
NOAA Is pronounced “Noah”!!! This is your weather radio and they send out warnings for tornados and other weather activity!
There is a swim team for non-professionals called Masters. They train at area pools and then compete as adults.
Totally missed an opportunity for a joke.
Taking the woman raised by dogs to a restaurant- should have asked for a doggy bag.
On Wednesday I kept complaining to my coworkers and wife that it was the longest day/week of my life. Everything felt off… this morning I realized I missed the podcast for the first time and now it all makes sense!
I'm sure Helix LOVED their placement this week 😭
