Grateful for the video & certainly some nice views, places I've never seen very picturesque to be said, looking forward to the next video take 🚗 care ........
That beautiful scenery doesn’t at all match my mental picture of England. Reminds me of parts of rural Idaho, although without the sagebrush. Glad to be with you in your cozy little camper.
What can I say, another awesome video 👌 loved the scenery so gorgeous 🙌 and I'm like you two when it's too cold I'm done and in the van I go 😂 I've definitely got weak in my old age 🤣 thanks again for the entertainment 👍❤️
Oh yes, this video took me back, many years ago I stayed at the youth hostel up the valley past Ennerdale Water and I spent the day walking around its shore line, it was a really hot day, a bit different now. Thanks guys, you brought back great memories. Here's a fact for you, I expect you know. How many lakes are there in the Lake District?🤔 Only 2, all the other's are waters.😀
What a beautiful drive! Such pretty scenery in your country! I am loving the UK, every bit as beautiful as the US Thank you for making the world so much smaller by your beautiful videos!
Hari OM ...Picturesque, I think is the term that covers this one! I could almost feel that raw-edged wind. Intrepid explorers you may not be Ken, but still hardy and adventurous all the same! YAM xx
I like the area you visited and by now had forgotten the regular cold and wet that you had endured. I would have great difficulty living there as I have been spoilt with warmer winters. Poor conditions but great video again.
Hello Ken / Carol It was funny how you said about being reminded of the Dark Hedges I was thinking just before that how it was reminding me of around the Antrim coast the wildness of it it is very similar to the area around Fair Head., really enjoyed this one thank you. Take care .
Poor Carol, freezing cold and a sore shoulder (frozen shoulder?). I enjoyed following your walk in the car. Great just driving around in the camper 😊👍🏻
It’s a bit cold and wet. I always let white van man go ahead. People on van type conversions say there worried if van to big. I say when have you seen a DPD van fail to get anywhere..
Aw, lovely memories of our walk up to the summit of Haystacks and down Fleetwith Pike, (and getting stuck, knee deep in a bog at the bottom 🤣). Wainwright's favourite mountain 💙
It was a definate 'youve been framed' moment ! I just sat in the nearby beck and washed it all off. My other half found it highly amusing ! We do laugh about it now though ☺️
It looks like a winter day. Breakfast looks good. Nice selfie with the harbor over your shoulder. It was absolutely a beautiful scenic drive this morning between the mountains and hillside. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate. Must be freezing at the top of those mountains. Thanks for a wonderful video.
Yes the weather is too familiar as I’ve been looking for a “spring break”. Peas love it cool😏 . I’m feeling a desire to follow your lead but will need to hop the pond. I’ll make it happen.
That was very satisfying. Just spent several hours weeding in my garden. Peas, onions, potatoes, and strawberries all happy to not share dirt with the nasty weeds. Time to relax watching carol n ken travel through gorgeous country. Thank you both for sharing your life on the road with us! Mary
I believe that this footage brings me to a cooling atmosphere in the early summer, thank you for leading me to the area west of the lake area, winding roads through mountains and white tips of magnificent hills is absolutely gorgeous, wish Karen gets better.
It looks cold out there for sure in parts …. Honiston pass I have not been there but I think campervan tales found a nice park up I was going to check out sometime ….. thanks for producing
Well that was a nice surprise, wasn't expecting another video this week. 🙂 You've taught us something too. lived here 8 years now and didn't know about that stone circle, We'll have to check it out. Thought you were going to park where we did at Loweswater for a minute. Prince Charles spends a lot of time staying at Yew Tree farm when he visits the lakes. Even turned on our Christmas lights in Keswick after the floods in 2009, don't think Julia Bradbury who'd been booked to do it was best pleased at being upstaged lol. Love the idea of a walk in the van. I'm with Carol if it's cold. Really curious to find out where you managed to park, anywhere near Keswick. Do have one in place in mind, but guess we'll have to wait and see..AGAIN 😄🐕🚙
Didn’t know Prince Charles was a regular visitor to that area ☺️ We had a backup plan for Keswick as we had stayed there in 2019 on our first trip in the little red camper 😉 Thanks for watching 😀🚗❤️
That was very cold but it still has a beauty about it. Question for you, when you’re parked up like that and getting your evening meal, how come you don’t pop up the roof so Charlie doesn’t have to walk around all bent up, 😊 I an feel for you Charlie with that shoulder, I’ve been battling one for several years and it does take some of the joy out of the day at times. Love your videos. Cheers Judy from Australia
Hi Judy. We would normally put the roof up every time we stop unless it is too windy, wet or cold. Glad to report that Carol’s shoulder is now fully recovered 🙂
brrr you were both brave to take little walks. I hope your shoulder gets better , you must of pulled a muscle, that can be very painful. Maybe you should visit Dr, to make sure. beautiful scenery as always. wouldn't it be better at home in a nice warm bed and the comfort of home. I find the lavender heat wraps that u put in microwave helps with pain. you both need those jackets where where u press a button and they will keep you very warm I use to see them idealworld the shopping channel. take ❤
Thank you for your suggestions Moira. I did try heat pads on my shoulder when I got home and they helped a lot. The pain finally went after about eight weeks. Those heated jackets would be very useful 😀👍
I wonder if the name of that car park goes back to a former use of the sìte in the laundering or processing of cloth. Spreading out cloth on grass or other greènery (rosemary bushes were often used) in sun & moonlight is an old way of helping to bleach it using oxygen.
I have been watching your shows a lot from Maryland USA. I am visiting England and Ireland next year. I wish you would say the month that you are filming so I can narrow dow a good time of year to come.
Thanks Rupert, Carol’s shoulder is much better now. We did have to go to a doctors once in Windermere and had no problems. It might be different now though.
@@LifeistooshortCK Ah, I was wondering if you could go to a GP or spend a day in A&E to get a Doctor. I had to do that once in Spain. I do remember years ago in 1957 having to go to a GP in Haddington in East Lothian, but a cousin that was living there brought me.
Have you tried SBC Arnica gel on Carols shoulder a job for you Ken to massage it just before you go to bed being natural it doesn't smell as bad as some deep heat products
Ken bit of advice please - when you come to a 'blind' bridge should you sound your horn ? I was shouted at by a farmer for scaring his sheep when I did that once ....
Always sound the horn if you are unsure. The farmer will not be the one in the head on collision. When its late and quiet pull your windows down and listen as an alternative but use a quick toot if in any doubt and drive slow 👍
Poor Charlie, sore shoulder. What about steroid injections? Only thing that worked for my sore shoulder. That fry up looked nice but when you break down the price you could probably have cooked up the same in your van for half that....just a thought. Love the vids, keep em coming! 😎😎😎👍
Big thanks to all who comment, like and share this video. It really helps to get RUclips to share our channel more ❤️
Lovely relaxing well made programs. And the wind is still with us after all these months (June 5th) Your progs de. - stress.

It is beautiful scenery. Great footage and chatter, thank you. Very relaxing. 💚🤎
Thanks Michele 🙂👍
Lovely views, relaxing to watch. Miles and miles of stone walls, very neat to see.
Thanks for watching Glenys 😀
I love the realness of your channel and relaxing to watch with a cuppa 🙂
Thanks. We appreciate your feedback 🙏

Shanti Shanti.

Glad to have you with us. Thanks for watching 🙂
Great video & beautiful music - again, thanks for posting those details 🙏
You’re welcome. Glad you enjoyed it 🙂
You two are, quite literally, stark raving bonkers! But that’s why we love watching you and your escapades and antics. Please take care. 🥰
You have to be bonkers to do this 😁👍
Your video is a relaxing way to start my Saturday morning! Thank you for channel.
You’re welcome Ginny ☺️
Looks very bracing! But it must be so cosy when you get back to the van for a warm drink, especially when night falls.
What can I say, another awesome video 👌 loved the scenery so gorgeous 🙌 and I'm like you two when it's too cold I'm done and in the van I go 😂 I've definitely got weak in my old age 🤣 thanks again for the entertainment 👍❤️

Thank you for your lovely comment Candace. Glad you are enjoying what we can show you of the UK 🇬🇧 😀
Ooooo we love ennerdale! One of the last wild areas remaining in the lakes 😍
We would loved a longer walk there but it was just too cold 🥶

Beautiful country side. A lot of narrow roads which would freak me out.
Good grief, it must be really cold there as I have never seen you two shy away from the weather before. You British are hardy stock!
Lovely views! Funny it’s cold & rainy here in my part of🇨🇦 this morning so I felt your cold 😂
I like the area you visited and by now had forgotten the regular cold and wet that you had endured. I would have great difficulty living there as I have been spoilt with warmer winters. Poor conditions but great video again.
Thanks for continuing to watch. It was a challenge dealing with the cold and wet weather 🙂

Nice vlog Ken and Carol. Great scenery. Thanks for sharing.

Really enjoyed the scenery but it did look so cold x you always look warm and cosy in your van and Carol always makes delicious food 😋 take care ❤️
Thanks Linda. It was very cold 🥶 x
Lovely montages, Ken. And beautiful music. Nearly put me and Hubby in a trance. 😊👍 And some lovely b-roll too. Excellent work! 😘x

I like Bimble around
All that steep hills I just did in my small campervan. Sometimes have to put it in gear one😅 Believe that I have tail drivecar, it is an advantage.
That rear wheel drive would definitely be an advantage on steep hills for sure 🙂👍

With the price of fuel increases since they recorded this, I should imagine that they will be doing more van breakfasts.
We like to occasionally eat out and spend money in the community, especially if we have “free” camped there.
Just a quick thought about your shoulder .. it may pay to avoid carrying the backpack for a time? Just a thought.
