Thanks for watching! If you didn't know, I recently created an SUV RVing Facebook group as a place to share rig pics, ask questions, etc. Here it is: facebook.com/groups/suvrving
Drinking coffee and watching you on RUclips this morning. I thought the trip to the Upper Calf Creek waterfall looked familiar. We took it on July 4th, 2018 but couldn't go above the falls. We're unable to go where you go except with you in your videos.
Dinosaur National Monument should be a National Park, as well. That place is awesome!! Cool petroglyphs, formations, rivers and rafting, large Backcountry, super remote
Very nice video! I had to laugh when you said "That was the wrong little trail." Russ and I have said that on many, many a hiking adventure. Even with maps in hand, lol. Looks like October is a great time to miss at least some of the crowds.
Just recently had your channel populate on my RUclips searches, your videos are great. I will be traveling to Utah with my wife to take in the beauty you show so well.
Ya can just imagine how busy that place is with warmer weather 🤠😁. Very beautiful 😍. Until you spend some time exploding S Utah's hidden gems ya really can't know what ur missing !!!!
This was a really good one. I liked the variety, the very impressive canyons and waterfalls of Escalante and seeing the campsite and a pizza stop and also your narratives at good intervals that kept it interesting. For me hiking up a mountain and down a mountain loses my interest at some point along the way. Seemed more personal than some. Good One! Thanks.
You, young man, I think you are amazing, I know when I click on your video I'm going someplace I've never been, and at my age, I'll never see without your videos/ adventures....thank you...again
Thank you I used to live in SLC UT and go hiking all down Zion -arches-canyonland I'm 75 and can't do that anymore .THANK YOU FOR BRING BACK GOOD memories
Stunning falls and basin! And you got a whole lot closer to the edge than I would have! Thank you again. 😊 Even though I have to fight the urge to look away 😂
I know why I keep watching.... your videos inspire awe, calm and surprise ;-) loved the hike that kept finding more beautiful falls and inviting pools (on a warmer day ;-).
When you first announced that you were going to be in Utah's honorary national park I thought you'd be in the Cedar Break's National Monument. Those hand prints reminded me of an area very similar in southern Argentina. Did you catch any fish? Enjoyed the adventure today. Take care. Vaughn
I'm glad you got the chance to explore my neck of the woods. Although i think the best falls are the mouth of neon canyon just before it runs into the escalate. Just my option. Thanks for the vidio.
WOW! Loved seeing that series of waterfalls! Super! How much wildlife do you see in those canyons? Lizards, bugs? Besides cows of course! LOL! Absolutely love your videos! Vicarious hiking is the best kind for me!
I don't remember seeing a ton. I think it was still too cold in the morning for reptiles to be active. I'm sure I saw a few bugs, but nothing jumps out.
I love these videos !!!! No music tho ....i like the quiet of the country sounds........id rather have more info or just nature sounds....but , thats just me 😁 Cant please everyone ! 🤗
I love your videos. I will be heading down to Utah in about a week and plan to go to a lot of the places you have been to. Thank you for your time to share your adventure. Hope to run into you.
What gorgeous landscape!! Love the rock art, it's a shame people have to ruin it!! As usual, your drone footage is breathtaking. I love your life, Tristan!! :) Thanks for all you do!!
.. So glad I stumbled upon your videos.. Great job and stellar production!!.. Very similar landscape to Sedona. Loved hi king there and now I am jonesing to hike in Utah!!
Been though the Grand Staircase a number of times over the years. Love Utah, it;s my favorite place to visit. If you ever get back to Hells Backbone, stop by the Hells Backbone Lodge in Boulder Utah. The Hells Backbone Grill is on the grounds and they have the best food Ive ever eaten. Two of the top chefs in the country make some fantastic food. They grow everything they serve on the farm down the road. Try the smoked brook trout. To die for.
Always appreciate the coordinates you provide for those that would like more details. Agree 100%, use your discretion. Best part as always is just tagging along. Thanks again!
What an adventure! I would consider the waterfalls to be a full three, haha! I agree about the Petroglyphs. I volunteer for a canyon with scores of them and am so annoyed at people not taking the historic significance seriously (don't touch, climb, or walk your pets on them). Develop an awareness of the sheer number of people that tramp through the area and the effect that could have on such a delicate and poignant piece of history. Onto the the good stuff! I love your photography (including the drone footage). Favorites were the falls, the campsite, cow, and the hands. Wow!
Just found this channel, I wanted to say Thank you for sharing the most beautiful footage. You ask the question of Why are people the way they are? My heart has stopped asking, and I feel nothing but sadness. Hope I’m able to visit this place before it is gone.
@@SUVRVing things such as your backpack, shoes, pants and your very interesting hat/cap... I like that you are budget oriented as well. Maybe you could make a video on how you organize your pack for a week end trip. Thanks for your videos and adventure
all the rock art you show in all of your videos is amazing. I m sure it carries much meaning which is still way beyond us)) For instance geoglyphs nazca lines down in Peru, man... mystery.
Hey Tristin, just curious if when you fish, do you catch and release or do you eat what you catch? Also, I want to say you are awesome at how steady your hand is when filming while you are walking or spanning the panoramic views. Nice Job as usual!!

Like your stuff. About a month from starting my RV trip and we seem to have the same interests except...I need a drone. Some people say I drone on alot but that's not what I mean.
Spent a little time in this area last year as well. Tried Zebra slot canyon but was the only one there and only made it about 20 feet back before I realized I had too much stuff in my pockets to scurry up and over. Made getting soaked to the thighs at sunrise that much worse. Spooky and Peek a boo where much easier for me to get through. Hole in the rock road was pretty rough in my Element that already had some worn out front suspension parts. Worth the ride though.
"So Heartbreaking". There's many of these sites I won't go back to. The graphitti , the desecration, gets worse and worse. The panel @ 15:46 was lovely.
Well the pizza looked good. Glad you showed it to us. We all wish we could've seen you chomping down on it. Then you dissapointed us by not telling us how many pieces you got down. That was very important to everyone because we cant all hike but we sure can eat.
Unfortunately, no one has unlimited time, including me. But this was probably the 4th or 5th time I've been to Escalante, and I see a few more things each time. No rush. Thanks for watching.
SUV RVing miss understanding. By time I meant more video time and panning your shot a bit slower. The magnificent of these places are amazing and in perspective to their surroundings almost unbelievable. For example the water falls and few trees surrounded by all those barren sandstone monuments 360.
Always looking forward to seeing your videos, you do a great job of showing the beauty of life and nature. It's a shame there's no escaping people ruining things for others to enjoy.
Another great video with stunning scenery! I learned something new, I didn't realize there were different names for natural arches/bridges based on how they were formed. Very sad to see the damage to the petroglyphs. Road trips are great diets for me, I really need to go on one!

@Eat Jat DIdn't get to see that one yet... Did you put the Kids on the Roof Rack? LOL
I loved seeing the rock art. I feel that you have the best travel channel on RUclips.

You definitely should! Thanks Glenn.
Favorite part was definitely the waterfalls. I love the sound of running water.
I liked them a lot too. Thanks Richard.

The cut panels made me nauseous. 😨
I have a video of me on the channel here exploring Zebra. Really cool spot! Thanks Chris.
You are right on with people being idiots. Leave history alone and respect it!
That vandalizing of petroglyphs is particularly disgusting and sad to me...
You could use the cow patties instead of firewood if they’re dry of course.
The petroglyphs and waterfalls are amazing! Is foot traffic allowed on the natural bridge?
Love your videos.
Have you been to Eklecticafe in Moab?
Nope

Funny that you glossed over The Hogback of rt. 12 which we thought was the scariest drive we'd ever done in our minivan.
