Proud of your dad for overcoming his fear to have that experience. He is a rockstar.
Your pops is so fearless. He is amazing on how he keeps up with you. What a great adventure to have together. Thanks for sharing this. I hope to do that park one day.
@kelly Johnson I don't know about that, but thanks!
You have the BEST shuttle service ever! I love to see your relationship you have with your dad. So sweet 💙
Hopefully I’ll get a reservation for this Friday didn’t do much traveling with my parents since they had a very fixed income. But I’m hopping to get out more with my family and explore the places I always wanted to with them.
Stunning videography! I love that you keep the colors natural. I hate hyperpigmented videos.
Having gone there many times, here's my recommendations. First, not a recommendation but a important restriction. Climbing on the arches is not allowed. OK now that I've said that, try to do 2 or more days if you can. For 1 day when the permits are in effect, try to get one as early as possible. For a single day, skip the visitors center and all of the overlooks on the way in. Hit the three main areas 1st, as these will get crowded quickly, probably devils garden, then windows, then delicate arch. After you get your fill of these three areas, then hit the lookouts and lesser areas, as there is a better chance of parking than in the main areas. I agree with one other commenter on park avenue, start at the bottom, walk up the trail till you get to the big climb at the end, then go back to the bottom parking lot. The biggest problem with this is that the bottom parking lot is very small. Take time at overlooks or pull-outs and look around. Look for smaller details, shapes and textures in the rocks, distant views. Finally, be courteous and patient with other visitors in the park, it will make your visit more enjoyable. One other thing I've done is to go into the park at night when there is a full moon. Everything takes on a very different, eerie vibe, and there are very few people there.
I'm using your videos to plan out my UT Park trips. Thanks.
I feel your father's pain. I'm 59 with back surgery and a heel spur. 🙏🤞🏼
This is me and my wife’s favorite park. I proposed to her in front of windows arch. The delicate arch hike is worth it every time. Surprised to see the lack of cars and people. Loved the video as it brought back good memories and showed us stuff we haven’t seen yet. Thanks!
Wow that is such an awesome spot for a proposal!
@@ThroughMyLens thank you! We love nature and that park so I thought it was the best place that had meaning for us😊
I just ‘discovered’ your channel and I would say I am jealous with your road trips with your Dad. He is soo cool 😎 you should come to visit Canada particularly in Alberta :) you should see Banff, Jasper, Waterton Parks, and many more (of course with Dad) I will continue watching the rest of your videos without skipping the ads. Take care of your Dad, God bless and more power to both of you!
My daughter and I were there in March. Absolutely stunning views. I want to go back! We drove from Northern Michigan.
Love how your travel with your dad. I used to do that whit my parent when they were Alive. Now I do all my road trips by my self
We are going tomorrow for 5 days. Thank you for the info
How beautiful, and I loved that you take the time, to show us this beautiful wonders in details, and places in I will never be able to visit, but with your channel, I can, thank you so much, and keep up this wonderful job.
It looks so beautiful 🤩 love it
Hell yes for Dot's Pretzels! :D
Two windows looked like a sea turtle to me. Another great video. Much respect to Pops for the climb up.
You don't need a drone when hiking with pops.
Just hand him a camera. Love seeing pops in these videos
Haha!
I recommend you visit MT Rainier National Park in the state of Washington, paradise is a beautiful place.
Been wanting to see for half my life!
I love Archers national park
I am doing research for our trip in June and by far, leaps and bounds, your video is so well done! Your editing, voice overs, commentaries and pots are just so professionally done. thank you so much for your time and effforts. Oh and... you are one good looking young man
Awesome video, great job. So glad you got to share this experience with your dad.
LOVE UTAH,I WISH COULD SHOWED MY DAD WHAT I GOT TO SEE THERE IN UTAH...BEST WISHES.
I am glad you got to see Utah, it is an incredible spot
Hands down one of my favorites
Love your channel. Have to disagree about the Park Ave hike, It’s one of my favorite. Here’s the trick, go to the first view point, take it all in, then drive around to the bottom of the trail and begin your hike from there. It’s flat and easy, and the scale of how high the walls are is breathtaking. Only walk half of it or until it begins to elevate then turn back. Also, it is better at a different time of day when both side are lit, and, kids can run around down there because it’s so wide and sandy.
Dot pretzels has MSG in it. If it doesn't affect you, have at it. Outstanding Video!!
Great job Pops! Thanks for being so honest and vulnerable on these videos.
Thank you for sharing this video.
Your Dad is so cool and funny.
Looks like you two had a great time together. I wish I spent more time with my Dad when he was alive.
I stumbled your video after searching for Arches NP. It's very entertaining and informative. I'm a new fan.
Beautiful video ❤
Another great video. Thanks!
Glad you could enjoy hikes with your dad at Arches National Park. Your video was inspiring and I hope to get there sometime

This channel is suprisingly amazing, they worth millions subscribersss 😭😭😭😭
Dad must not like heights much, neither do I!! Great video 🤗👍🐬
Thanks for the comment!
I have visited Arches NP in 2018 and it was absolutely awesome. But as usual, your video pointed me to a few things i had missed. Thank you so much for your content. It never disappoints. We were also very cautious on that narrow trail to delicate arch. So i totally get your dad on that. Greetings to you and your dad from Germany. I am a big fan :-)
Thanks for watching the video from Germany! Glad you got to visit Arches!
more caution needed when hiking down the bowl to the Arch...
Thanks for the spectacular tour of Arches National Park. BRAVO!!!
Great video. I loved my visit to Arches Natl. Park. It’s was back in 1995 and everything there is AMAZING!!
Amazing video like always! I feel much better about getting ready for our trip next month, bringing out kids so we will probably miss the last arch as looks pretty scary 😅 but I know it will be amazing anyways 😍
What a treasure this content is- thank you!
Great video, detailed explanation is good, it's a place I want to go
The sunset on the arch makes for a good photo.
I would love to know when you went in this video?!?! I want to go with my big family, and seeing this video where it’s not busy at all and there’s no one ruining your experience is amazing!!
Great video; the hikes, the arches, and the information; excellent 😎😎😎😎😎😎👍👍👍
Absolutely amazing. I will be visiting this wonderful place this year. Thank you for showing all the beautiful things there are to do.
laying down in the shadows inside double arch to rest a little is great, love this park
I was a hard-working tour guide, Moabian, for a while. Some of my best memories in nature.
Did you know Edward Abbey ? Are you that old? Have you read his books?
Pop's rocks
I was there the second week of November... I grew up in that country and just seen it for the first time after living there.
I’m visiting Arches NP in June. Now I know what I can and can’t do. Thanks for this beautiful video
wonderful
FieryFurnace is the best hike in the park
Such a good video! Ate my lunch under Delicate Arch back in "89! So peaceful! No one around. Thank you very much!
Wow, that is an amazing experience for sure!
One of the best videos I've seen on Arches National Park. Nice work! I was there the first week of May this year -- my third trip and not my last!
What a stunning location and a brilliant video, thank you. Definitely on my bucket list. And good to see Pops taking his brave pills to do that last section........I was nervous for him lol.
Wings! Great Vid!
Thank you 😋
Thanks for coming through Utah!! I am a California transplant. Love it here... and have hiked and backpacked all over. Happy trails.
Thank you for posting. This video is one of the best tours I've seen of the park. The comentary was top notch and gave some lovely details. I bet you have taken some spectacular photographs here.
Wow!!! Thanks for your footage. It’s breathtaking.
We hiked the fiery furnace with the park ranger. Totally worth it. Great video. October is the best month to visit. Frequently in the 80s.
Such incredible terrain, on one side you have the red rock, dry, desert, monument valley type scenery & in the distance, snow capped mountains.
Incredible beauty.
Thank you & kind regards from Adelaide, South Australia.
Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching!
I highly recommend getting a permit and hiking Fiery Furnace! We hiked it last September. Epic trail and landscape. Slots. Bouldering. Arches. Just beautiful!!
Absolutely amazing just beautiful video love it , thank you for sharing this video
This is a bucket list spot for me. Love the landscape.
It is pretty incredible!
Devils Garden to the Double O Arch is amazing
Made me miss my friend that passed away last yr we went to moab for a week back in 2020
Thanks for sharing. This is one the most amazing places we have seen as a family.
Amazing ❤️🙏

Wow, had no idea how amazing and fast this park is! Love seeing Pops joining in, as it gives me hope that I could do this as well.
@Nancy Young Josh has shown me that I am not dead yet and can do a lot of things! I am sure it is true for you too, Nancy.
Glad you liked the video!
Nancy, you'll always be Young!
You can do it!
great video
Love Moab and Canyonlands National Park.
Thank you beautiful
I keep coming back to your channel and enjoy your work. Do you think that you are blessed to do these trips with your Dad ? Awesome love. Keep on trucking 🚚
Kudos to your Dad for some of those hikes... especially the last one! Thanks for another great video!!!
Two thumbs up for all your videos!! Always the best! Thank you
Loved the video of Arches National Park! 🙌🙌👍👍💕💕on my bucket list of parks to visit. Thank you for another great video 🙏🙏👍👍
No problem, thanks for watching!
You should try to check out aisle Royal National Park in Much if possible! Also I think you and Pops would get a kick out of a Michigan road trip!
Great video. All the arches were great but delicate and landscape were my top two. Thanks for sharing
Awesome video. I was there about 15 years ago. Can't wait to go back now that I've got kids. Time flies...
It really does! I hope you make it back with the family
Thanks! Arches and Canyonlands are the only ones we haven't been able to visit yet. Note: you need to drink a lot of water out here all year long...it's a desert and very dry.
Good tip, water all year round is important!
I always enjoy the Windows.
Thanks for sharing this video.💚
Amazing. I don't like heights either. Thank you for letting me see the beautiful view though your lenses. I had no idea there were that many arches
Was at Arches over 30 years ago (Late March, Early April) and it was magnificent back then. Didn't have to make reservations either. Thanks for the update (and memories). It hasn't changed one bit.
Me also...late March "89. I was 25. Didn't even charge a fee. Hardly any people. Nothing roped off, you could walk anywhere. We thought we'd try to get on Landscape Arch. (We were invincible). On the way up there was a small sign that said "don't go any farther...X amount of people have died trying". We turned around! It sure was beautiful !
Well...having worked as a guide in the park with over 400 visits...the park has changed dramatically in just the last ten years. Impacts from tourism are very visible if you visit over and over.
@@mikegrindstaff I believe ya!
The firey furnace is an outstanding hike with the Ranger guide. A must do next bisit
Thanks for letting me know, I will have to do it
On my bucket list!
There were ancient giants and ancient petrified giant tree stumps out West most people don't even know it but when your eyes awaken it makes you view the world differently.
Pretty Awesome!!! Is one day enough to see all you mention in your video?. Thanks
Great footage! Some of the best times of year to visit this park (and much of the Southwest in general) are the so-called "shoulder seasons" in April, May, September, and October. Maybe November in some places, although it can err on the cold/snowy/icy side in many.
I love your videos you do. I will probably never see Utah and you did a great trip. Really excellent videos.
Love your commentary!
I like the arches
I was there for a week 6 years ago. I want to go back. I think they have the best Visitors Center
Amazing!!
Wonderful work MrJosh, we went there in December years ago🌝🌝
Love it need to go there soon
I did Arch's many years ago with my friend Harry and we did just about all the hikes except Fiery Furnace. I did not know about that one until later after leaving the park. We also did the Delicate Arch at the end and it's quite a hike. I remember how that bowl rolls downward so you have to be very careful there. If I get back that way, I'll do the Fiery Furnace Trail! Also, I remember we were hiking on a trail that was way up in the air on rocks and it was hot. We could hear an ambulance in the distance so I wouldn't be surprised if the heat got to someone! You have to be careful there and have plenty of liquids!
So glad you got to experience a lot of what the park has to offer!
I worked as a guide in the park and have over 400 visits...and I still haven't seen the entire park. What you think is most of the hikes...is like 1%.
Also...for the whole Moab area which includes Arches has a fatality about every 36 hours during peak visitation.
I might also add that none of my tour includes any of the places in this video...
I've always wanted to go to that part of the United States, I'm going to try and make that trip in a couple months, great video.
