  • We have spent the last two days traveling with Rocky Mountaineer from Denver to Moab on the incredible Rockies to the Red Rocks itinerary. And now it's time to play!! There is so much to do her that it has been dubbed an adult's outdoor playground!!
First up is an off-road Hummer tour through Hell's Revenge... well that sounds terrifying!! And it was... but incredible as well. This was a sunset tour and let me tell you, there is nothing more beautiful than a sunset in the Red Rocks!!
Day two, we are visiting Arches National Park. This is one of the Mighty Five of Utah and a sight to behold! Much of the park is seen by driving through but there are several walks/hikes you can take to walk to, and in some places through, the arches. This was an incredible tour!!
Did you know that Moab has a great food scene?? Yep! And the best place to see this is the Moab Food Truck Park. There are so many different kinds of food to try here! We wished we could have eaten more!!!
In the afternoon, we head to Dead Horse State Park. First off, the drive here is just incredible! But this should be a must do for anyone visiting Moab! Our National Parks are amazing... but so are some of the state parks so don't forget about them!

I love Moab. Utah really is beautiful. Canyonlands is my favorite Utah park, but they'll all take your breath away.

Next time delicate arch is well worth hiking to! It’s breathe taking up close!

You were lied to, the hike to Delicate Arch is *not* difficult. They were just making you feel ok by seeing it from a distance. Your hike to Doc Holiday’s grave, was much harder, for reference. Next time, do the hike!

Great video. Too bad you didn’t get into Canyonlands National Park which is right next to Deadhorse. It is breathtaking. Love that entire area. 👍

Beautiful. I would never be able to go on that hummer ride. I do not do heights. Alisa you are really looking great. You should be very proud of yourself. Losing weight is not easy.

This was a FANTASTIC new type of video, super informative! The beauty of Utah is so unique. Now the Rocky Mountain train and all the ad ons is something that would interest us for sure. Especially since my other half will not fly! We've done Moab in our RV and we ride off road in our side by side. The Moab visitors center is very GOOD! Our favorite was definitely Dead Horse Point State Park! Did you get to see the rock climbers? FYI...you look GREAT by the way! We hit the road Monday heading to warmer climates in Yuma, AZ for the winter. This has been summer #2 here in Utah, just amazing. Keep up the good work videos and lifestyle!

It was a mistake not taking the hike to Delicate Arch. I think it is a three mile round trip, maybe 1.5 miles each direction, and not that hard a hike. There is an incline but never all that steep, it only goes up about 480 feet; what makes it "strenuous" is that it is "uphill" most of that 1.5 miles to get there. Also, while you don't see the arch until the end (maybe the last 100 yards/meters or so) you end up right next to the arch and, sitting on top of a butte, it is an amazing view.

They lied to you. I’m 73, and I rate that hike as moderately easy. Yes, you don’t see Delicate Arch until you turn the final corner, but it will take your breath away when you see it. I did it first thing in the morning, it is so worth it.

We were with a media group so we took a shuttle bus to the nearest international airport in Salt Lake City, which is about a 3 hour drive. They do have a small puddle jumper airport in Moab but it’s probably outrageous, not to mention we don’t like small planes…lol! Hope this helps 👍

No unfortunately! We hate that we did get any for obvious reasons, because It would have made for some amazing footage! Mainly the reason we didn’t get any is because most pf the places we went were national parks and droning is illegal, unless you have permission and proper licensing etc…aka a big pain in the butt…lol!
