Yeah, I wish they just put normal sliders that allowed mounting the esc and battery.
I kind of wish you would have tried to adjust something when you was on the app though just so people can see for sure that it does work looks like they've done a killer job

Great review of again a great product! Just the balans could be better. Ordered my Cayman V2 today and also the fx18 Bettle chassis, hopefully i can get it to work (love the comp, no body look) But keep it up with the reviews and also love it that you give a view on the new things like the ESC.
The balance? Its an easy fix though! Just move that battery!

I think the evo you have is a pre production. The production cr18p evo has the “heavy duty” driveshafts. They’re better than the cr18/p shafts but still a little weak. Epsically on the brushless models.

the winches are typically mounted inside the rig (to the chassis). NSDRC makes a tiny servo that can be used as a winch.
It catches your attention but it looks like the same Fur Wagon chassis with the Rushmore body on it. Not that it’s a bad thing but I don’t know about the new tag.
Yeah. It’s basically the same stuff as the evo pro, and fx118s. Just some updates and new body.
I got the T Hunter version a couple of days ago and was very disappointed by the abrupt transition from slow to very high speed and the motor was running extremely hot. "Solved" by replacing the Lizard lite with a Python, super smooth transition like all my furitek motors and does not run hot after setting to the correct motor type (Venom). Like it, but the rtr package in my opinion is not well tuned in unless you want a jumpy toy car and a motor you can cook (very small) eggs on.

@@fourtwelve412 fair rc has some carbon fibre ones in the works and they are awesome. they might already be released actually.
Curious if the Rock Van body fits this chassis? Rushmore body looks great but I have a soft spot for the van having grown up with a 1979 Dodge van as a kid. Thanks!
It would but you might need different body mounts. Wheelbase is the same though.
Will 1.0 size wheels work on this rc axles ....?
If they have a negative offset. Just have to be sure they don’t hit the portal housing.

@@DTW-bx2vy dude im like a year and a half into crawling with minis there is WAYYYY more to still learn in due time it will come, torque twist only ever gets me on really steep climbs but climbs are my jam i just built my first comp crawler it does pretty dang good imo
