Mate honestly the best content I’ve seen the way you explain everything is second to none I appreciate it and I will be hitting you up for some advice I’m sure when my BLS Version arrives in a few days
OVERDRIVEN!!! Nice vid. Awesome that they hit that 20% OD ratio. My preference is right around that amount, maybe a little more. Running 24% od in my scx24, around 25% total in my trx4m tarantula (16% rear ud, 9% front od). for my terrain and builds it seems to be that sweet spot where I'm getting as much benefit as possible without running into loss of traction on sidehills. Really wish they'd come out with more gearing options for the fcx24. best I've found is like 11% over. makes me think about swapping in one of the hobby plus axles, but by that point I'd probably rather just buy the evo pro.
you cant really make the overdrive gears work with a different housing. Changing the gears is not an option. this is why they had to redesign the housings. You can dremel the original brass to make room for the overdrive if you want.
Also, the flysky noble has an expansion port to plug in other protocols (like the mini z stock protocol) the mt12 would have been amazing if they had a port like this to add expansion chips.
The MT12 doesn’t have anything to do with the protocols it supports they are from two different open source projects. ELRS & Multi Module who makes & supports the 4-in-1 module. Pascel the head 4-in-1 developer is darn good at reversing protocols. But ANT uses a chip that is not in the 4-in-1 module, may even be a chip that is proprietary to Flysky can’t say.
There are aluminum ones by furitek (unless they are steel, I can’t remember) The evo pro and fx118 are the same. Also, I think there are some people out there who can sell custom brass links for these.
Hello friend, how are you, I have an FMS car, a K5 blazer, but the control is very crazy, I think it's on a bad frequency, I finally managed to pair it, I'm from Colombia, do you think you can help me?
It shares same axel as Fx118 correct? How did the portal covers work with overdrive gears?I was told/shown It takes mods to brass cover to be able to use OD gears to work on fx118
Thank you for all your videos. Great info. I think you are the only one showing how to modify a crawler step by step without pushing on products.
Thanks a ton. That means a lot to me.
Overdriven! I am gonna have to add one of these to my fleet.
It’s a bad ass rig!!
Very nice! Installed the rcawd complete front and rear axle set. Much needed upgrade.
Right on, I bet it’s a blast!

I appreciate that!

Thanks for watching!
nice one ser. that was overdriven.
Thank you kindly for watching it all!
I was looking for upgrade for my Evo Pro and found them here again. Thanks. Overdriven
Glad to help!
Overdriven. A lot of info, made my choice easier. Thanx you very much!! Will make use of your video to guide me in doing the overdrive gears.
Glad it was helpful!
Great video as usual sir and thanks for sharing. Overdriven!
Thanks for watching! You are awesome!
Thanks for the upload! This is great info for a newbie.
You bet! This is exactly why we make content!
Overdriven👍
Thanks for the watch!!!
That was great information! Thank you for sharing!

Nice upgrades mate it was comfortably overdriven. 👌🏻
Yes it was! Thanks for the watch.

I feel like the longer the FCX platform sticks around, the more support its going to get.
Apparently I'm supposed to comment "Overdriven".
Good video, thanks man
Hahah yeah, only if you watched the whole thing! ;-) Thanks a ton for your viewership!
Great, now I gotta buy v2 boxes for my 3 hp axle rigs… I wish they made them work within the original brass.

That’s a great looking truck & it crawler very well out of the box from the videos I’ve watched. Has anyone tried binding it to am MT12?
I’d also like to know if anyone has easily bound it to the mt12
The Evo Pro is using Flysky’s ANT protocol so it can’t be ported to the MT12 because ANT uses a chip that is not in the 4-in-1
@@GeezerGramps bummer. I feel like a ton of rtr are on ant. I feel like that should have been a protocol they considered heavily when making the mt12
Also, the flysky noble has an expansion port to plug in other protocols (like the mini z stock protocol) the mt12 would have been amazing if they had a port like this to add expansion chips.

Curious how much this helps the torque twist on the angle board
the reverse output shaft is your best bet to remove toque twist
Do they make upgrade links for these in aluminum or brass? Will the other CR18 links work, or different geometry?
There are aluminum ones by furitek (unless they are steel, I can’t remember)
The evo pro and fx118 are the same.
Also, I think there are some people out there who can sell custom brass links for these.
I wished you wouldn't play music, I'd much rather hear how quiet or loud the truck is.
Most of my running video now has a section with no music. So those who want music, get some, and those who don’t, also get some footage without.
Will these portal cover work with a fx118 Katana with over drive cause there bras portal cover say they won’t work with over drive
As long as they are the v2 portal covers, they will work. The fx118 and the evo pro are the exact same axles.
Hello friend, how are you, I have an FMS car, a K5 blazer, but the control is very crazy, I think it's on a bad frequency, I finally managed to pair it, I'm from Colombia, do you think you can help me?
You'd have to try and describe what your issue is.
It shares same axel as Fx118 correct? How did the portal covers work with overdrive gears?I was told/shown It takes mods to brass cover to be able to use OD gears to work on fx118
I mentioned in the video that these portal covers are the v2, so they worked great!
@TheShopMiniRC ahhh I must of missed that. The v2 will have no issues with fx118?
@@OGKDOG104i haven’t physically put them on the fx118, but they are the exact same axles so they should be 100% fine.
I Need to find a link for those v2 specifically.
Edit..Found them on helidirect
Overdriven!
Thanks for watching it all!
overdriven
Thanks a ton for watchin!
Is there a plug and play light kit for it ? Really just need headlights or a light bar .
I don’t think there is a kit specifically for the evo pro… but there are tons of great lights for the 1/24s and 1/18s that would work! Check Amazon.
It is, sorry for the stupid question 🤣
There are no stupid questions here! Thanks for the watch.
Is this the same chassis as the Fury wagon with brushed system?
No, these have same axels but different chassis
Check out our compare video of the evo pro. They are basically the same, but different chassis rails and motor/esc
