I graduated from college as an electrical engineer around the same time as blue LEDs were finally invented (garnering the inventors a Nobel Prize). Twenty years later LED TVs, flashlights, and light bulbs are standard and we have a gigantic spherical monument to LEDs in Las Vegas. So cool.

I went to Las Vegas to see the difference between, how legitimate experienced servers, and bartenders operate in big time casinos.
After actually working in a casino for over 10yrs. The the thrill and excitement of gambling faded quickly. The weather was cold and rainy everyday. No shows or events were playing at any casino, to even buy tickets to. It was the most dull and unmemorable trip I’ve ever taken. But this new Sphere looks phenomenal. I enjoyed your description of the sphere, and I hope it is a success. It is an attraction that will bring tourists to experience its unique sound system and light show. The external displays can be both educational and entertaining. No end of imaginative subjects for it. Just so it is easy on the eyes. I hope that there are enough rooms in Vegas to accommodate the audiences who visit the sphere!

MSG Sphere is simply stunning, spectacular, splendid, sizzling, superlative and sensational. Exceedingly electrifying, enormously exciting, exceptionally enthralling, excellent engineering / architectural concepts have been successfully used to marvellously maximise the viewers pleasure, both inside and outside of this massive, magnificently mega spherical building. 👌👌👍👍

This is a really great entertainment venue, but I think in a time where people are already unable to distinguish reality from fiction, this will do very little to change that.
I've always loved the idea of a massive theatre type experience, yet it's the wrong era.
I hope this stays in Las Vegas for atleast a few decades before they decide to move it to other countries.
Society seems to only be progressing in luxury and entertainment standards, not so much in other areas of the human ability.
And this trend is making us weaker as well, falling in love with material wealth to the point where you don't enjoy it, you crave it just for what it is.
We need to see the effects of such a venue for a long time before deciding most cities need them.

I don’t think it’s that deep. It’s just a giant screen that can make gorgeous and encapsulating visuals. It’s meant to be a spectacle, and there has been no shortage of spectacles built by wealthy rulers over the last two thousand years. This is just another addition.

The worst news to me and example was for the ads. The basketball was advertising an event and looked like a basketball so I don't have a problem with that but I despise advertisements in general, at this scale?, even worse. Up to this point the visuals have been artistic and beautiful except the one jaundice looking eye displayed here compared to the clear eye. As to the legitimate vehicle and pedestrian traffic safety concerns, I feel the advertising and rate of fluctuations of expended light and textual content would be more hazardous than the visually smooth serene content we have seen to date. I am also concerned to see what physical effects the screens will cause to humans and birds in terms of disorientation, nausea, underlying seizure potential. ✌🏼& hope all goes well.
