After watching this microphone review, you will know how the P5S supercardioid microphone sounds when using it for podcasting, live streaming or RUclips.
Overall, I am a big fan of XLR microphones because you can combine them with different audio gear.
Not matter if you use this microphone with expensive equipment, or a budget mic preamp / USB audio interface, in my testing both worked well.
Especially beginners, who want to try podcasting, live streaming, or RUclips, may benefit from flexibility like this. Because as your audience grows you can upgrade selected parts of your gear.
In contrast, with a USB mic, you won’t have this kind of flexibility, so while a USB microphone may be easier to use at first, in the long run, if you ever want to make the switch to XLR gear, it may prove to be a disadvantage.
Overall I think the AKG perception live microphone has a very nice build quality, especially for beginners it should be an attractive option, especially when paired with a tube-preamp / USB audio interface such as shown in the video.

Hejman i like that you show where you are in your video, I always do this with powerpoints etc and this is like the first time I see this with a tuber.

I think you should sing in the mic

I'm currently in a hostel but still doing my music, hope to keep going..
Loved the review though bro.
Cheers regards Vinn 😎 🎸 👍
Good review my brother, is this microphone good for vocal recording ? I plan to do some voice over recordings with it
Please answer me and thank you in advance brother
You can choice between dynamic and condenser micophones with either XLR or USB, some microphones even have both.
If you have an audio interface you can use XLR such as this AKG P5
The AKG is a dynamic microphone and should therefore be more forgiving of unfavorable room acoustics.
Condenser mics on the other hand are more sensitive, and may be more prone to picking up sounds from your room.
0:40 yes sure its your personal opinion. You can t expect much from an 40 € in my opinion. It s super cheap for what it sounds like. It's not a high quality microphone but you get much more than you pay for. (in my opinion)
need phantom? Thanks for the video rewiev!
XLR dynamic microphones = no
XLR condenser microphones = yes
The behringer sounds much better with the akg p5s microphone
Was expecting a GOOD review of P5s. DISAPPOINTED
Ok, sorry to hear that.
Create Success TV Hey man this review was really useful, and I think it’s useful for people who are looking into this microphone for whatever reason - it is a good mic on a budget and it was catered to it. I loved it.
@@ReviewTechTV dont get discouraged and keep trying. you will get better :)
Supercardioid is not better than Cardioid, just different. The benefits of Supcardioid is better rejection from the sides, but picks up a bit more of what is in front of it. This could pick up audience noise more if not handled correctly. A bigger problem for me is reflection coming from the rear in a small room (also a bit of a problem with Cardioid). I hang a thick blanket behind me, and this helps a lot with this.
it´s not good, it´s a GREAT review with a lot of information I wasn´t expecting!
