  • I've heard fasted cardio is the silver bullet to fast fat loss so I had to try it out. I'll share everything I did and break down all my results.

    It is almost like what every other animal in the world does naturally. Doesn't eat every few hours or diet. Just feeds once a day or every few days and is fasted the rest of the time - when not eating. And always moving or resting. That is fasted (cardio) - and guess what. No animal is fat - other than animals that graze non stop. and even then it is 1% of animals. That is the natural diet of not getting fat, or even how to lose fat. Don't eat and move slowly over hours.
    And then you have fitness "experts" that push products and apps and ebooks like Layne that says fasted cardio/fasting is a scam for fat loss. Yeah because they push BS products.
    You don't lose muscle/LBM during fasted cardio/fasting because the body produces more growth hormone to protect it's muscles and organs. You aren't meant to do intense exercise while fasting because you will break down muscle. Because it is not a natural movement for when fasting.
    To lose fat all you need to do is fast. Exercise isn't even needed but of course that can speed up fat loss. Go look up the guy where he averaged fasting 96 hours over like 4 or 5 months and lost 80lbs. With only walking. It ain't rocket science.
