@@jacee.w Yeah that's pretty much what happened to me. I watched a lot of English cartoons when I was young, so I picked up and learned the language from that. But when it comes to Filipino, I wasn't exposed to too much of it on TV, so yeah, I'm still struggling.

I had to do a family tree for science once and I barely had any names. My dad has 6 siblings and there’s no “reunions”, I meet like a few at a time. Since I’m Chinese we don’t do names, it’s not “Cousin John” or “John” it’s just “Cousin”. Same with “Aunt” or “Uncle” or “Cousin” for some distant relative on my mom’s side that we don’t know what to call relation-wise so he’s Cousin, which I ironically know better than some of my actual cousins.
