Very useful. Could you do a segment on paste wax or finishing polish? Both solids that come in a bright yellow can several inches tall. One is MINIWAX Paste Finishing Polish. And the other is SC JOHNSON Paste Wax. I’ve bought them years ago to bring up the shine to a “French polish” but always been too afraid to use them because I don’t know how or on what types of wood finishes would be appropriate or not. Thank you so much for considering. Sincerely, a Big Fan
In this video you mention using Pledge. I got an interesting tip from my expert on Anderson windows. He said to use Lemon Pledge in the tracks of my sliding windows. My absolute furniture polish was by SC Johnson’s “specialty surface” cleaner but unfortunately it seems to have been discontinued. It worked great on wood, stainless steel, granite and leather! The only thing it couldn’t be used on was glass. I have no idea why the SC Johnson company discontinued it, but I do know that many people were very disappointed! I’m so glad i found your channel! So much valuable information. I was totally against all swiffer products. But now i see the value they could have and you’ve convinced me to conform. Thank you for your expert advice. I wish i could take you with me to all my houses
+1 Hour Dry Floors I admit I had to get used to the Swiffers myself. But there is something I really like about not shaking the dust you’ve just cleaned up back onto the floor, hoping some of it doesn’t go airborne. They sold me. 👍👍👍
I love Wood Silk polish because it's got beeswax in it. Great for wooden furniture that's waxed. In general for non-wood Scandinavian type furniture I use Pledge cleaner polish.
Great video. Very detailed and informative. Thank-you. I once took over a cleaning business for a neighbour of mine when she went south for the winter. I wish I had that info back then. You're a pro.
Thanks for the wax tip. I just started a job with a dining room full of antique furniture. Super dry and ornate (ugh!) now maybe I can actually make them look a little better.
Antiques are one of those fun projects that make great before and after pictures because you can really bring them back to life with the right buffing technique and cream/paste/wax. Keep me posted. :-)
Thanks for all this great info! I'm learning so much. I've been trying to figure out how best to clean the wainscoting in my house. Its an older, finished wood so finding the best thing to use has been tricky. I'm thinking Scotts Liquid Gold looks best
If your wainscoting is real wood a Murphy Oil Soap sprayed on a cloth may work best. Clean/polish as you go amzn.to/3sIF0ix Let me know what you end up using. I'm curious to know what you settle on.
Hi Angela, so glad I found your videos! So helpful. I am trying to save my 1960s mahogany veneer kitchen cabinets. They are stained, and have a very thin coat of something on them. There are dark streak spots in some of them, ( not mildew) also steam damage, and plenty of dirt and grease especially around the knobs. My plan was to clean them first, then maybe a light sand with 320 grit paper, then use Howards restore a finish, and finally Howard's beeswax polish. I'm not sure what to clean them with? I was told krud kutter pre-paint cleaner, but I don't know if I should be dulling the surface. I have some Krud Kutter general cleaner that I could try but it doesn't specify use on raw wood. Tried a bit of dawn dishwashing soap with vinegar, and Lemon/ lemon rind tea I made mixed with warm water. Then I rinsed with baking soda water mix, and then rinsed well and dried well. Didn't find great results with that, especially the dark streaks and it seemed to be lifting the stain a bit. Seems like the grain is somewhat lifted on them already and the veneer seems quite thin. Can you suggest a product to clean them with?
Hi Blossom Bud, if the intent is to sand and restain them, the Krud Kutter Original Degreaser will be just fine. It may remove the grease and gunk build up and if there are dark streak spots - this may remove whatever that is. After you sand them, they should be more of an even finish and re-sealing the wood will give them a new life. Keep me posted, I'm eager to hear how this project goes for you.
Luv all your vids...so helpful to help me clean my home better. Could you do a video about how often to clean everything in your home....example...walls...closets... windows etc....thks
I have replaced all these products with Odies Oil except for ones that clean off dirt. Then I apply ODIES oil a paste smelling of luscious lemon, is food safe, solvent free, non-toxic, waterproof. It is safe around pets and children. Can be used indoors or outdoors. Seems expensive but a little bit goes a long way. It is applied with a special pad, left for 15 - 20 minutes and then buffed off. I have not tried other Odie products such as a Odies Super Penetrating oil, wood butter, or wax.
*This might be the best video you have done* It took me years to figure out all these polishes and waxes etc.. and it is so so important I hope new home cleaners pay attention because this video will save them tons of complaints. Lol!
If it is super glossy it most likely has a top coat or finish of it's own. All you will need is a damp microfiber cloth. Avoid sprays because it will after a while have a build up that will show spots and fingerprints.
Angela, I have been doing things wrong for years, thank you for providing these videos I learn so much (and wasting less product) Can you do a video on cooktops? Mine is glass and I’m afraid to use something abrasive and is there a way to clean scuff marks from a kitchen sink without ruining the glazing? I’ve used soft scrub and I think I’ve taken off the glazing
Hi Kelly, Thanks for the kind words. The glass cooktop can be cleaned with a product like Ceramabryte ruclips.net/video/Z9EGjIFaMwo/видео.html and a wet razor. The key to not scratching the cooktop is technique and keeping your surface wet. As for the sink, what type of finish do you have on it? Is it porcelain? Corian?
Angela Brown i looked up the sink and I think it’s enameled covered cast iron, it’s smooth and shiny everywhere but the very bottom of the sink where I’ve used the soft scrub ☹️. Also I bought the Brite and Clean for the shower and it works great! I appreciate all the information it has really been great!
I have a question...I am a self employed house cleaner and used The Method Everyday Wood Cleaner for about 2-4 months and 3 different clients had the same issue of...well if they sat a piece of paper, with print on it, on the table, and the paper or wood became wet, the print from the paper transferred to the wood! Luckily these weren’t important or expensive tables to the clients and were easily replaced. I am insured. I also, now, only use swifter duster. My question is, why did this happen and could i have prevented it? Thank you Angela I appreciate all the hard work you put into your videos! I’ve learned so much!
I am not sure of all the specific details here but often times when papers are on a counter or furniture and the papers get wet the ink can transfer. I am so sorry this happened to you. 🤗
This helped so much.....I appreciate that you use a swiffer for most things. I need to find something for my dark wood kitchen cabinets 🤔...would a damp cloth work? Thanks again
Welcome! Yes, a damp cloth is a great option for cleaning dark wood cabinets. Make sure it's not too wet and use a mild cleaning solution if needed for tougher stains. Happy cleaning!👍
I clean a house where the customer has me put Old English every week on the Antiques that's a little much right? The furniture is never used. Also what is the answer on that soft scrub in the sink? thank you great videos
Old English is designed to polish and nourish the wood. This is more popular in antiques like you mention where the wood is really old and dried out. (And for the soft scrub in the sink, was this in this video or another one?)
I am old school using many rags I constantly aquire. I can throw them away after use. I have never seemed to have a problem after the last 60 something years. I am using microfiber cloths more now. My question is what about using rags like old towels? 🤔 I know this is an older video. I hope you will see my question.👍✌️
C Stevens --I also prefer old tee shirts or soft cloths sprayed with Enddust for dusting. I find the Swiffers hold the dust and then redeposit it back on the furniture. I am astounded at all the people that love Swiffers--just more landfill trash and extra expense--though convenient to grab if you are just dusting one or two thing-- but so wasteful!! Also we were always taught to apply polish with cheesecloth rags ( I guess I'm really old school --pre microfiber ! Watch out for old towels, as they can leave a lot of lint. Old tee shirts are much better. Save the towels for cleaning up messes or washing down things.
Hi. Forgive me for being so late to respond! 🙏If you are a person cleaning their own home, I think recycling old towels to use as rags is a great tip. Thank you for sharing it!! 🤗
Hi Angela.... I love your videos, very informative. Question: For someone just starting out is there a multi-purpose cleaner that would be safe on all these items you discussed here? Just trying to keep things simple at first. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
When it comes to furniture, if you are looking for one solution - it would be a damp microfiber cloth. That won't leave any residue and will be safe for the surface type.
What is the best way to clean leather? Can you use polish like pledge or is there a specific product you can recommend? I love all of your videos and really appreciate your help. ☺️
Check out this video: How to Condition Your Leather Sofa - ruclips.net/video/pxxKf7pUa64/видео.html And also check out the other links and resources in the video show notes description.
Hi Angela, do you think that "Therapy" would be a good choice for a kitchen cabinet which has been treated, but has areas where the lacquer is worn off? (example around the knobs and corners) In other words... raw and finished wood surfaces on the same item. Thanks so much for your helpful information 👍🏻
I can't thank you enough for sharing your wealth of knowledge. Dusting has always seemed overwhelming with all the methods and products. You just sorted me right out lol, thank you!
The theory is also right...there are hundreds of different types of wood...and its definitely the truth that all wood arent created equal...so is it just me....or anyone else who see the real linkage....reminds me of bibical teaching. They would say not to be carnal minded. I know you dont know... you flim this with confidence that your only talking about tree wood...logs.. carpentry style. However your right any how you take it....this video deserves an award...periodt.
Wow you really know your stuff a true expert. Much appreciated. Thank you ☺️👍 what would you recommend for a dinning room table it's dark mahogany and I believe it has a varnish on it?
+Allen R a damp cloth to start with. If a polish is needed, Old English has a dark walnut polish that nourishes the wood and breathes new life into it.
Hi Cecelia, There are different types of stone floors including: marble, travertine, limestone, granite, quartzite, slate, and sandstone. Once you identify the material then we can research a cleaning solution.
Hi Leo, tables, and chairs are most likely made of plastic or a durable resin. If that is the case you can use an all-purpose cleaner and one with sanitizing or disinfecting properties is recommended.
Thank you for answering my questions from your other videos. I don’t know how you do it when there are so many of them! If you see this one. Is it ok to use wood oil to shine stainless steel sinks and fridge?
Technically yes, I believe we are talking about Howard Cutting Board Oil which is a food-grade mineral oil. Here is the paid link amzn.to/3wVquJJ The thing with using it for your stainless steel appliances, unlike using it on your cupboards and painting it on with a paint sponge, for a stainless steel fridge you would put a bit of it on a cloth and rub it into the steel. You don't want an excessive amount because you don't want a build up on your fridge that will attract dust and fingerprints. Does that make sense?
I'm not the best person to ask that question to - I prefer polishes with no scent as they agitate my allergies. Which is best depends on the type of furniture, and the type of gloss, enamel, or coating on it.
I have a black Steinway grand that is about about 40 years old and it has a satin finish. What should I polish it with. It is not glassy like a lot of grands.
Angela, I have a table that we bought new about 20 years ago. I think it’s Thomasville but am not entirely sure anymore. I’ve used mostly pledge to clean it. Larry, I’ve noticed there are smudges or (maybe??) build up that I can’t get off. What are your recommendations?
You can use Murphy Oil Soap in a spray with a damp cloth. It looks like this amzn.to/358DcX3 but you can find it a lot cheaper at Home Depot or Lowes. This will break down the buildup of furniture polish and leave your table clean. I believe that Murphy Oil Soap is also a no-rinse product so you can just spray and wipe.
Angela, you are awesome!! Thank for all that you're sharing...I have learned SO much from watching you! I do have a question. I have dark cabinets in my kitchen and bath with a matte finish on them. What's the best way to clean them when they get food, toothpaste, etc on them without leaving streaks? Thank you!
Yowser. Dark matte finish doesn't tell me if they are wood, or pre-engineered material or what. Without knowing more, I recommend a damp sponge with a bit of Dawn Dishwashing soap and then wipe down with a damp clean cloth to wash off the soap.
Sorry about that...I meant to say they were dark wood in my original comment. I believe they are pine with a dark matte stain, like espresso. Thank you for your help!
In my agreement, if someone wants furniture polish, they have to supply it. I also ask that they try it first to make sure it works properly for their furniture. Thank you for your valuable info and reviews!
Its might sound rude to tell client to supply the polish. Better quote a price that include the polishing service. I believe that polish you will not use it once or in one client
Wow..thanks for all the info. I'm keeping a little journal on the topics you discuss as I am new at being informed! I want to educate my clients as well. Do you carry all this stuff in your car and pull it when you need it or ask the client to buy it?
Hi Kristina, No I don't carry all this with me. Most furniture can be wiped with a damp cloth which removes dust and keeps the shine. If a customer has a preference for a particular furniture polish I buy a bottle (add the cost into the cleaning so the customer is paying for it.) Then I label the can or bottle with the customers name and their house number and their time slot. (i.e. Sterling, 3102, Wed 9:00) We have a shelf that holds "customers supplies" and when packing a caddy for that house we only take their polish. That way it is not used on any other house and a bottle or can lasts a year or so.
Thank you I’ve been looking for this for a long time I have a cherry table I’ve had it for 20 yrs and it’s lost it’s shine it’s very dull and if I use pledge like I used to it leaves it with an awful build up. I think from what I understood here I should use Howards Feed and Wax?
Howard Feed-N-Wax is a great product for antique and porous wood furniture as it can restore the shine. I’m sorry I don’t have enough to information on your table to know if this is the best choice. If it’s possible, I suggest you contact the furniture manufacturer and ask what they recommend for your cherry table. Good luck and keep me posted on how things turn out with the table. 🤗
It depends on the surface and it depends on the soil. Every cleaner has a pH balance to it. If you use one that is too strong it can dissolve the finish on your counter, leave streaks or eat the sealer. What type of countertop do you have?
Congratulations! I'm so excited for you. Use absolutely no chemicals or water on it and a fine polishing cloth to buff out fingerprints. amzn.to/2Xn5SI8 Enjoy the music! 🎹🎼👍
I noticed on the can of Scott's liquid Gold Wood Cleaner & Preservative it states that it is not to be used on synthetic finishes such as polyurethane. I am wondering why, as most newer finishes are polyurethane. We used polyurethane on all our wood moldings and doors and window casings. I also have a custom built kitchen cabinets and an Oak Kitchen Table, built by the Amish and don't know what they used to finish it. So what can you recommend for me to use ?
As professional cleaners we don't polish or wax wood furniture. We just damp wipe it to remove dust. Any polishing or waxing is done by the homeowner at their leisure.
Thank you for this information! What is the slipperiest waxiest mulrisurface spray possible? My reasoning for learning about these sprays has nothing to do with cleaning or polishing wood. I'm looking for the slipperiest waxiest spray
In context I may be able to offer a suggestion. When you say slipperiest, and multi-surface what are you referring to? Or rather, how will you be using the surface and why must it be waxy and slippery? You can't use the same polish on all types of surfaces.
Oh no, I hate when that happens. These marks are often caused by the moisture trapped between the hot bowl and the table's finish. If the marks are minor, you might be able to remove them using a hairdryer on a low heat. Keep the hairdryer moving back and forth over the white marks for about 20-30 seconds. The heat helps to evaporate the moisture trapped in the finish. Once the marks are gone, use table cloths or placemats in the future to prevent new marks from forming. 👍
Ok. I am an essential oil crazy person. I mixed peppermint with Murphys ready made spray. I cleaned a wood dresser and the color changed😬..as I kept cleaning thinking of how to beg for forgiveness I got lucky because the color came back...I'm still confused about why and how but I will NEVER do it again.
Be careful, the essential oils will dissolve the finish on the wood. Found that out the hard way. On the bright side, it is a super fast way to strip the finish if you want to change the finish!
Where are you located at? I’m in Houston, TX. Can you recommend anyone in Houston who is fairly priced. I don’t mind paying for actual cleaning. I do mind paying someone to not clean. I’d have people not wipe counters or never move a small rug but go around it. Never dust a blind. I have a hard to reach but very visible corner in my kitchen that no one cleans.
A degreaser of some sort. Dawn dishwashing soap is good if you keep some in your shower for this purpose. If you don't have some of that, Krud Kutter Original Degreaser is always a good choice. amzn.to/2UefFSD It is non-toxic and biodegradable.
Gracias . Mire tu vídeo para limpiar esas manchas amarillas ♥️
I'm looking for the best all-purpose wood cleaner (not polish). Do you think either Method, Bona, or Murphy's Oil will work for this, and what would they ruin (if anything?) I've tried the Method one which seems fine imo, but I started using Bona Wood Surfaces Deep Cleaner because I figure the name brand would help with "liability" (or credibility) in case something accidentally gets ruined...not sure if that's better than Method or not. Which is 'better" and could the Bona cleaner (or Method) really ruin any type of wood or finish? I don't care about what's shinier or whatever, only about ensuring nothing gets ruined. I haven't really tried Murphy's yet bc I wasn't clear on it's purpose. Thank you so much I'm learning so much from your channel. I definitely subscribed!
+Kirsten Signar my personal preference over the others is Murphy oil soap. It nourishes the wood as it cleans. If you are not sure if the liability you can always use your product on an inconspicuous area of the wood first. 👍
@@AskAngelaBrown wow thank you so much! For responding with the really helpful advice. I've been following and am a recent subscriber and I trust your advice above various research income across :) I appreciate your time!
If you are able to get up the stickers awesome. If not using a cellulose sponge (without the scrubby) looks like this amzn.to/31B7Vhd, dipped in mineral oil, looks like this amzn.to/3zyAng2 and then rub generously over the stickers/sticky area. Use a plastic razor, looks like this amzn.to/3q3iQJR to gently push off the sticker and residue. Wipe clean with a paper towel and then polish with a damp cloth.
Thank you for being part of that growth. We've been very blessed with an amazing and supportive audience. And we are so thrilled you are here. Thanks for sharing in our joy. 💛
My face is old and dried out, so I guess I need some kind of wax to help. ( Indeed, my dermatologist ssid I need to be using a thicker CREME and not just a lotion. ). ; )
I don't know what type of cabinets you have. The label on the back should specify what types of surfaces it is okay to use it on. And I'm assuming you were going to use it on cabinets rather than just as a common furniture polish. When in doubt, the Safety Data Sheet should have the manufacturers contact information and you can ask them.
I haven't used pledge in years. I had clients that had massive buildup on their furniture from using it. None of my clients want this used in their homes.
You're absolutely right, avoiding heavy buildup from overuse of Pledge is wise. Clients don't want that residue coating their furniture. There may be alternatives for residential cleans for some clients that make more sense. Thanks for sharing that professional perspective.
It depends on what you are cleaning. In most cases, you can just use a damp microfiber cloth. If you have older (think antique) wood, you may want to use a furniture polish to nourish the wood.
We don't charge extra for polishing furniture unless it's waxing furniture (as in antique furniture) If the customer has a specific polish they use, yes, you do charge extra for that and keep that polish for their home only.
Hi Zana, it sounds like it has bleach of some sort in it. Chemical patches like this is hard to remove. What type of surface is your cupboard? And what type of chemical created the patches?
Do you know about furniture repair kits? They come in all styles and colors for different types of wood. amzn.to/349xDa6 from filler to furniture crayons and markers amzn.to/2QKQepR they are awesome and you can't see the scratch when you're done.
Hello I did a job for 76$ kitchen living room I vacuum mopped polish appliances she said that I didn’t do her bathroom when she never told me to do the bathroom your videos aren’t Realistic because these ppl house be in need of a more organizer then clean they want both for very little money what can I do for next time

*This might be the best video you have done* It took me years to figure out all these polishes and waxes etc.. and it is so so important I hope new home cleaners pay attention because this video will save them tons of complaints. Lol!
I love how you say wood.
LOL I've never heard that before. Now I'm going to be analyzing all my pronunciation while I edit. Thank you 😂🥰
Appreciate the video. Didn't see what product to use on super glossy, finished wood, like formal dining table that has a very dark finish. Thanks
If it is super glossy it most likely has a top coat or finish of it's own. All you will need is a damp microfiber cloth. Avoid sprays because it will after a while have a build up that will show spots and fingerprints.
Oh how I wish you could deep clean my home 2x a year. That would make my job as a housewife doing maintenance work a breeze.
If only it were that easy! You are not alone in this. Thanks for watching the video and for taking the time to comment, I appreciate it!
Love your show. I learn so many new things about cleaning
Hooray! I'm so glad you're here. Thanks for joining me. :-)
Thanks for nice tips please can you tell me how to clean high gloss kitchen cabinets
With a damp microfiber cloth.
@@AskAngelaBrown thanks for replying
Superbe travail!!! Wow!!! Jadore!! Merci.
Thank you! ☺
I love the original bees wax spray. Yellow aerosol can.
Thank you for sharing your input and thanks for watching. 🙂
@@AskAngelaBrown much appreciation from a new subscriber
thanks for this very informative video....i was thinking of using beeswax type paste on a pine floor thats bery worn and porus...

I love that video for clean for wood
Hi,what can I use to polish and clean expensive wood furniture?
This was great information !!
Thank you !
I’m so glad you liked the information in the video. 👍
Thank you for sharing that tip! 😄
Hi Angela. I'm looking to clean my cupboard fronts and wondering if I csn use method wood cleaner? Thank you for your help.
Yes you can! Method is a good brand. Let me know how you like it.
What is the best way to clean leather? Can you use polish like pledge or is there a specific product you can recommend? I love all of your videos and really appreciate your help. ☺️

Hi Angela, do you think that "Therapy" would be a good choice for a kitchen cabinet which has been treated, but has areas where the lacquer is worn off? The theory is also right...there are hundreds of different types of wood...and its definitely the truth that all wood arent created equal...so is it just me....or anyone else who see the real linkage....reminds me of bibical teaching. So helpful! For my personal cleaning of my home, how often should I throw out my swiffer duster?
When it's full and you're done, slide off the replaceable head and put it in the household trash. (Not recyclable.)

This is wonderful information 😘🤗🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🙋
Would love to know how you clean a natural stone floor. Mine is sealed but since it’s white, it never looks clean.
Hi Cecelia, There are different types of stone floors including: marble, travertine, limestone, granite, quartzite, slate, and sandstone. Once you identify the material then we can research a cleaning solution.
I"m planning to start my cleaning business. I just want to do the regular cleaning? is the furniture polishing included too?
You can include it if you like. Typically furniture is wiped down with a damp microfiber cloth.
Excuse me.. I want to ask if I clean a small children's school classroom.. chairs and tables.. what should I use?
Hi Leo, tables, and chairs are most likely made of plastic or a durable resin. If that is the case you can use an all-purpose cleaner and one with sanitizing or disinfecting properties is recommended.
Helpful video!!! Thanks a bunch!!!
Thank you for your kind words - and for spending a few minutes of your day here with me. :-)

Brilliant Angela! I would like to ask what polisher/cleaner that gives a good scent and last long as well?
I'm not the best person to ask that question to - I prefer polishes with no scent as they agitate my allergies. Which is best depends on the type of furniture, and the type of gloss, enamel, or coating on it.
I have a black Steinway grand that is about about 40 years old and it has a satin finish. What should I polish it with. It is not glassy like a lot of grands.
A damp microfiber cloth should clean it and then dry it with another dry microfiber towel or a buffing cloth.
What should you use on wood blinds
Hi Gayle! If it’s just a light amount of dust then a Swiffer duster should do it. Give it a try and let me know how it turns out : )
I wonder what you think about Murphy's Orange Glow.
I love this product
I’m so glad you love this product. Thanks for sharing. 😊
What to use to put a shine back on an old fiberglass tub?
Hi. I am so sorry for being so late to respond. I hope you got your issue resolved. Thank you so much for watching, I appreciate it! 😊🤗
I was wondering which is best, Old English or Liquid Gold?
I have not done a direct comparison of those. Which do you like best? 😊
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave your thoughts on my video here. I appreciate it!
I was hoping you'd say howards beeswax woos cleaner and polish it's like magic
Thanks so much for watching the video and for taking the time to leave a comment. 👍
What do you recommend to do first Dust? or Vacuum?
Dust first, this way you can vacuum up any dust bunnies that have fallen on the floor.
(i.e. Sterling, 3102, Wed 9:00)
We have a shelf that holds "customers supplies" and when packing a caddy for that house we only take their polish. That way it is not used on any other house and a bottle or can lasts a year or so.
Awesome videos.
Thank you so much. Feel free to share the video. Sending hugs. 🤗
Angela Brown Thank you so much I will do that!
What is a good counter top cleaner?
It depends on the surface and it depends on the soil. Every cleaner has a pH balance to it. If you use one that is too strong it can dissolve the finish on your counter, leave streaks or eat the sealer. What type of countertop do you have?
We purchased a black grand piano, what do I use to clean it?
Most synthetic finishes can be wiped with a damp cloth and that is all you need. The finishes and polishes are manufactured into the coating.
Thanks Angela
so how often do you actually polish or wax the wood furnature?
OMG so much information. Thank you.
Thanks so much for watching my video, I appreciate it! ❤️
How do you get white marks from hot bowls off your kitchen table? :(
Oh no, I hate when that happens.
Thank You!
You're welcome!
The wood may not have been sealed. Using an oil based spray on unsealed wood can change the color of the wood. I'm glad the color was restored. Whew!
@@AskAngelaBrown yes! Lucky

What do you recommend to clean glass shower doors to remove soap scum
A degreaser of some sort. Dawn dishwashing soap is good if you keep some in your shower for this purpose. If you don't have some of that, Krud Kutter Original Degreaser is always a good choice. amzn.to/2UefFSD It is non-toxic and biodegradable.

I'm looking for the best all-purpose wood cleaner (not polish). Do you think either Method, Bona, or Murphy's Oil will work for this, and what would they ruin (if anything?)
I've tried the Method one which seems fine imo, but I started using Bona Wood Surfaces Deep Cleaner because I figure the name brand would help with "liability" (or credibility) in case something accidentally gets ruined...not sure if that's better than Method or not.

What do you do if a child puts stickers on an oak table how do you remove the mess it leaves behind
If you are able to get up the stickers awesome. If not using a cellulose sponge (without the scrubby) looks like this amzn.to/31B7Vhd, dipped in mineral oil, looks like this amzn.to/3zyAng2 and then rub generously over the stickers/sticky area. Is Rejuvenate Cabinet Restore safe to use?
I don't know what type of cabinets you have. The label on the back should specify what types of surfaces it is okay to use it on. And I'm assuming you were going to use it on cabinets rather than just as a common furniture polish. When in doubt, the Safety Data Sheet should have the manufacturers contact information and you can ask them.
Thanks alot
You're welcome! And thank you for watching the video. 🙂
I have to dust and then polish? That’s two steps?
It depends on what you are cleaning. In most cases, you can just use a damp microfiber cloth. If you have older (think antique) wood, you may want to use a furniture polish to nourish the wood.
Should I charge extra for this
We don't charge extra for polishing furniture unless it's waxing furniture (as in antique furniture) If the customer has a specific polish they use, yes, you do charge extra for that and keep that polish for their home only.
I never realized as a cleaner that you were responsible for restoring their furniture.
Thank you for watching! 🤗
