I never seen Boxer in the history like Mike Tyson. He is not only a boxer but a butur also, salute to Tyson.
When Bruno lost this fight they played "Many Rivers to Cross" - Jimmy Cliff after the fight had finished for the sky sports outro music. I cried a bit for Bruno.
They played it after he lost to Lewis too
Bruno was the best we had for many years and just such a great guy. I can see why you shed a year for him
Tyson has always said that he would love to be as loved by his country men as Frank Bruno is by his country.
Bruno is still loved today.
Not sure the raping and assault cases helped him out much 😂
Damn fine boxer though and seems like he's a whole new man these days... Those dark days are definitely being Tyson.
@Zacattack agreed, I never liked lummox Lewis either, never considered British at all.

True, tyson was half gone when he fired his trainer Kevin rooney
This was clearly a prime mike Tyson dude is l 26 . Wish people would stop with these ridiculous statements, Tyson is the only fighter history prime is from 19 to 23.... Nobody prime is this age bracket.. he beat good fighters but lost to great fighter point bank..it's a myth
@@jowfayerz6591 false statement , cus couldn't control Tyson then facts watch a interview with anyone in that training camp, another fact he became champion after cus died, stop making excuses
Douglas beat a prime Tyson, Mitch Green went distance with Tyson and held own, so did Tillis, Tillis won at least 5 rounds, Bone Crusher as well a negative Tucker, Tyson was going through alot of domestic level fighters and weak contenders many had drug problems.
@MichaelMyers87 Douglas was ill and grieving and still kicked Tyson's arse, KO in round 8 my arse Douglas got up and whipped even worse.
Mike Tyson had a short period where he was the most brutal heavyweight of his time. But that short spell was the loudest ever in the heavyweight division 💥🥊
Mike Tyson best by far in his youth he was a pure puma, my all time favourite
This was the last time that Tyson used his head movement incredibly. After this fight he was never the same Tyson.
Wow Tyson actually brought some of his defense back from when he was in his prime
I noticed that too. He looked good in this fight. In these highlights, anyway.
He was in his prime here.
@@H.K.5 he was in his prime when he was with Kevin Rooney. This is after he had already fired him.
Absolutely. I don't understand why he wasn't as agile and mobile against Holyfield months later.

Arian Dito I love mike but Tyson and Holyfield had his number. The most important thing u need against Tyson is heart and they both had it. That was half the battle going against iron mike
I felt like I did when I was 9 years old watching this live with my Dad on a chipped black cable box. Nostalgia
Every punch is straight up murder from Mike 🤣💯🔥
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I remember listening to this on radio as a little kid madness ty for uploading❤
totally Fake , Bruno's head clearly knocked out Tyson's fist
Probably last time Tyson fought similar to prime Mike Tyson
Nobody could have beat Tyson when he was at the top of his game
Douglas did
Most people who say that weren't even watching boxing in the 80s. The competition available always contributes to a fighter's legacy. Tyson was a destroyer but always had difficulty with taller boxers. Lewis would have been his biggest challenge in his prime if they had met at that time. David Tua was a fearsome heavyweight with power but he was too short and couldn't hit Lewis like he needed to. Tyson lost to Lewis and I think he would have lost to him if they had fought in 1989 as well.
@@Boxingbear i disagree tyson had his speed to wear lewis down back in the younger days lewis wasnt fast on his feet either like tucker or douglas was so lewis would have to fight
Well, Holyfield did and that was right after this fight if I’m right. Nowadays people say Tyson was past it but at the time few believed Holyfield had a chance.

Man I miss the 90’s. Golden era of boxing.
The Brits are great fans. For decades they have traveled thousands of miles to see their man walk to the gallows. They
Cheer his name even as he’s dispatched. But seriously, they are great fans. In America we dump our sports heroes as soon as they lose.
You're not lying 👍🏻
w900L IT GOES BOTH WAYS..... most American fighters nowadays only care about themselves... self promotion. The public can smell and see that. The other countries fighter not only fights for the fans but really for the pride of their countryman.
To be fair, the British media does the best job of destroying our sporting heroes. The UK performs way above its size on the sporting stage. Weve had boxing champs at multiple weights, MMA champs at multiple weights, won a world cup, perform at each Olympics, formula 1 champions, Indy Car champions, rally champions, golf champions, tennis champions, judo champions, karate champions, snooker champions, taekwondo champions, kick boxing champions, body building champions, strongman champions, darts champions, cycling champions...
We produce world class athletes , that's why we follow them around the world, success is never far away.
Sly Dood Well that’s a bit dubious. You’ve been better in boxing as of late. Lovable losers is the first thing to come to mind when I think of the U.K. but your comment just affirms what I said. You are a great fan and proud of your country. That means something. And congratulations also on your new independence from the god awful rest of Europe. You guys are our greatest allies.
Prime mike Tyson was unbeatable
Prime Mike Tyson got knocked out TWICE and lost to James Quick Tillis and was given a gift decision.
You do not know nothing about boxing. Do not ever watch boxing ever again. If I ever hear that you’re watching boxing again I’m going to personally come kick the shit out of you. The man got knocked out when he was in his prime. He never beat any Hall of Fame fighters. The best fighters he thought he lost to them
Why did he lose at 23 to Douglas then?
This was his only best performance after prison.
Frank Bruno was a seriously tough dude. Casual fans say he has a glass chin but I'd like to see any of them take even one of those same shots that Bruno took from Tyson, and remain standing and willing to fight, as he was. Props to Bruno, he was a great fighter and a great champ.
Idk about a great champ, doing too much. He had 0 successful title defences.
In a league of his own.. No one stood a chance against him!
Just murdered Bruno! But have to give Bruno credit for taking some hits in That 1st round.
No doubt, Tyson is the greatest of all.
How? Because he beat Bruno? Do you know how many great fighters Ali beat? How many great fighters Robinson beat? How many great fighters Mayweather beat?
At the end of each round, Tyson keeps looking at his opponents waiting for them to say something. 😁 He was a thug in the ring.
"Once I'm in the ring, I'm a god..."
Boxing is a gentleman’s sport, Tyson was never a gentleman he was a fighter. The bloke was an animal and he’d knock ur nan out if she stood between u him and victory. Best fighter the world has ever seen imo.

Tyson in his prime, proving that the fighters introduction would be longer than the fight itself 😎😎😎
The greatest fighter of all times in my book he always brought the fight
Greatest Fighter Of All Times?? KNOCKED OUT 5 times, lost 6 times. Quit 3 times. Begged a Trainer to stop a fight he was losing. Never won a fight in which he was KNOCKED down. Its amazing to see how Tyson ducks and weaves his head so fast and yet can wind up incredibly fast accurate hooks right to the chin from both hands at the same time.
Bruno was always underrated ! He was near the elite and never ducked anyone. He wouldn't stay down on a count to get his wind back but straight up... Tyson has always said the hardest punch he took came from Frank
Bruno was tailor made for Tyson. Stiff, upright, one dimensional and scared.
Strong as an ox and could take you out also a ramrod jab. I thought we was a dangerous opponent for Tyson just got done twice in all action brawls.

Referee Mills Lane was the man. He was nearly 60 years old then having to man handle these guys out of the clinch. I like how quickly he separated them, action packed.
Mills lane was also the referee of the Tyson vs Berbick fight in 1986 when Tyson became the youngest heavyweight champion.
