I purchase Klein for my boyfriend (Electrician) and he raves about the products. I research then source from stores or sites that supply us here in Australia. Thanks for your video, learnt a lot.
Have a Klein 13-in-1 arriving today. I prefer impact rated bits, and have lots of them for my impact driver. It will be great to use any of them in screwdriver mode. The only other handled screwdriver I plan to carry rotinely is a short Wera. I also carry the small racheting wrench and a tiny one bit gadget . (PS: Like you saying "It's all for His glory." God bless You and all good people.)
I understand the desire to get sponsors, as just a couple of 5 to 7 minute videos can buy you an entirely new set that can help expand your audience. Does it allow you to maintain the credibility needed to connect with that audience? Does it allow you to be true to yourself and be perceived as genuine so you can grow that connection? I find it hard to believe that someone who has spent $1800 on Knipex tools and posted several other videos praising German-made hand tools would be completely and utterly clueless that NWS makes those pliers for Klein to rebrand. It did seem odd when you compared those pliers to channel locks instead of Knipex. I guess one could know only one of the German brands, even though they are manufactured just a 26-minute drive from each other. It’s not like NWS has done this sort of thing before-oh wait, this month marks ten years since Irwin released their NWS line of pliers. Well, at least NWS pliers are inconspicuous and not easily distinguished from others-oh right, you can spot them a mile away. Forget that, at least you talked about how Klein hope took that hideously looking reversible jaw plier out back behind the shed and put a bullet in its teeth! No mention of that, huh? At some point, the influencer becomes the influenced, and once done, all the King’s horses, and all the King’s men won’t be able to put back the American electrician again. You’re better than this! Hang in there. You got time, you’ll figure it out.
I have been using the Knipex brand version of those pliars for years. It's an exceptional design. I think the knipex version has a little thinner head. Very light weight too. I'm going to have to check those out.
Klein Tools has really outdone themselves with this lineup of new tools. The 9/1 hollow shafted magnetic pass-through nut driver and the 13/1 impact rated driver look particularly useful for a variety of tasks. Great content.
I got a set of the solid and a set of hollow shaft nut drivers. For a perfect set I've put in my bag the solid 1/4, 5/16, and 3/8... and hollow 7/16, 1/2, and 9/16. There's not much magnet on the hollow small sizes so it doesn't hold screws and nuts very well. Plus I practically never need a hollow shaft for those sizes. I commonly need the bigger sizes to be hollow, plus the magnets are bigger so they work better.
the hollow shaft nut driver set from klein comes with a ratcheting handle as well. they’re also color coordinated with a stripe instead of it being solid that’s how you can tell if they’re hollow shafted or not
I just got the home depot version of the ratcheting impact screwdriver and is a solid 10. superb quality.. so good that I designed a gridfinity bin just for it to live in my drawer.
I have an older version of the heavy-duty wire strippers. One of the cool features of them is that the front of the pliers fit into recessed square rigid plugs. Pretty handy.
I would have had to include the 64 piece precision screwdriver and ratchet. I gave been so impressed with. Best part is I caught it at lowes for 19.99 instead of 49.99. I wish I had bought every one that they had.
Lately renovations, this week was drywall, painting, fixtures, insulation and all new doors. Last week was a full backyard porch, pagoda and small roof. I keep er in my pocket and use the bits in my impact as well when I don't feel like running to my bit check.
This infomercial was brought to you by Klein Tools - committed to American Manufacturing, since 1857. p.s. Those Klien channel locks...I use the Harbor Freight "Doyle" ones. Just as good, but for only $20. JUST. AS. GOOD.
I'd like to try some of the other multi drivers. I have the 11 in 1 impact multi and it was great for 2-3 months then slowly a few more months go by and everything is stuck and im using wrenches to pull out my bits. Barely any rust, not abused whatsoever, just disappointing.
@@americanelectrician Thanks for the answer. I am actually an electrician working as a transformer operation technician in the high voltage field in Turkey. I wanted to learn the time required for an electrician to work in America. While the system voltage in our country is 220V AC, 110V AC is used in America. I am talking about the certificate in terms of the adaptation program. I asked my question by translating it from Google Translate. If there is a part that is not understood, I apologize in advance.
@@americanelectrician Frankly, according to what I researched on the internet, an electrician needs to have a certificate according to American law in order to work in America. Is there an organization that issues this certificate? If so, I was wondering about the duration of the training. I apologize if I bothered you with my questions.
Love your vids..amd as a beginer, appreciate your advice! I am in europe and knipex is the the thing, with wera screwdrivers being no1 in their depatment.. however, contemplating some Klein screwdrivers..
Also like the heavy duty strippers from Klein, wish there was a locking mechanism for storage. Might have to try a pair of the push button klein channy's 👍

I have the wire strippers. I trashed the spring and was the best move I made with those.
I just got the 14 in 1 hvac and i love it
the channel locks or water pump pliers are rebranded NWS theyve been around since at least 2016 when i bought my pair very good pliers
I thought so! That’s cool

I wish klein put the combo bit on more of their screwdrivers
How do those pliers stack up against the cobras?
Nothing stacks up against the cobras
It’s the closest to them for sure
@@americanelectrician which would you rather have?

the hollow shaft nut driver set from klein comes with a ratcheting handle as well. they’re also color coordinated with a stripe instead of it being solid that’s how you can tell if they’re hollow shafted or not
You can also tell the difference because the hollow shafts are 50 bucks and the regular magnetic nut setters are $30 😂
Thank you! I will be getting the correct set this time

Ok the flip sockets in metric will be great for my new Surge and my japanese project car.
A great combo

Oh thank God it doesn't have free delivery and I was at HD earlier so I'm not going back.
My bad bro
Loving the content
Thank you brother!
Love the 11-1 but the 3/8 and 5/16 nut driver are NOT magnetic and it’s frustrating as hell.
What knife was that mate
You're calling a lot of the "new". Most of these I've had for a year or 2

Been using the ratcheting screw driver I like it but it locks when you go to fast so that’s a big problem

I got the offset lock ring wrenches a while ago but they weren't usable..
Good to know. What didn’t work about them
I use the lock ring wrenches frequently. The usability of those type of wrenches is always dependent on the clearances available in a jbox.
How many months does it take to get an electrician certification training?
I would appreciate it if you answered.
You go through a 4 or 5 year program while you work

The impact screwdriver is a really nice edc in my pouch but it would be much better if it was magnetic though
That would be great

Thank you!
have been using the 13-1 since my 15-1 handle broke. They are not impact rated and i have the twisted flat #2 and broken torx 20 to prove it.

That one looked exactly the same as a cobra and even is made in Germany. My guess is knipex is making these for Klein
