Awesome tool, it's about time someone came out with a pocket driver with a spinner top for standard 1/4 hex 1 inch bits. Now I just need to find one! Thank you!
I picked one of these up over the weekend and I’ve been loving it so far. I’ve been trying to find something in this form factor with a Phillips 2 bit for years…
I had the awesome 4-1 version. Just fantastic design. Specially the ability to shroud the bit tip so as to protect pockets. BUT......my wife saw it one day, and she now keeps it. I miss it so much. 😪
Well. I just bought this like 4 hours ago and I'm picking it up tomorrow morning on my way into work. I guess now's a good time as any to watch a review lol
Looks like a winner in my book 👍. More functionality in the same space and not really thr ussal multi tool compromise. I was just at lowes today oh well and excuse to go back. By the way I was too tempted by the kobalt knipex pliers wrench/cobra combo for 15. So yea there's a reason for the price i was assembing flat pack furniture today and the pliers wrench has no finish left on the head and have physical deformation from clamping meh steel. It's not completely parallel so unless it's over an eighth of an inch thick it can't grip it and rattles alot. It was damaged by brass toilet bolts so in case you get the urge.
Kind of wished they had a longer shaft for the magnetic end instead of a stubby. It would give you more reach and your hand won’t get in the way of seeing what you’re trying to pickup.
@@2010jalvarez it would be nice, but the shorter screwdriver isn’t as useful though if they switched it. I’ve used it on my other one and it doesn’t work in a lot of situations. I see the magnet side more of a pocket protector, but it would be nice if it was longer
Let’s say that somehow you dropped a switch plate screw into an outlet box full of wires…you could always pull the shaft from the handle and just use that to snake between the wires… that would give you about a 3” - 3 1/2” reach. The handle really doesn’t need to be used in most pickup situations I’d imagine. Just my 2¢.
All right then, this appears to need a space in my PC Service bag, primarily on the merits of the magnets. As you've shown, the other ones may not have that, but positioning a small screw (like the ones used to mount SSDs) really needs a magnet.
@@OnusBones yeah that magnet and the 1/4” are the best features to me. The magnetic pick up aspect is ok.. I like it more just because it’s a storage mode for the pocket
Odd choice to go with a dedicated magnet on one side, having the 1/4" bit holder there and allowing you to store a bit in the shaft or an outside the box idea with like a 1/4" bit holder with a custom 1/4 magnetic pickup bit, just seems like a magnet is a pretty bold commitment to dedicate an entire side to
@TheDankFarmer they could have even did a 3.5mm magnet tip so you could use a magnet, or put a bit in that side Then that bit may pull out I guess.. if you put it on something really stufk
