- Just picked up the new Klein 32303HD Screwdriver
I share in this video the cost, features, and how it is slightly different than the Super Screwdriver I built. There is also a mistake in the advertising on Lowes Website. Hope to help you make the decision if this is a tool you need to add in your life. It might be just right for you... or maybe not for you all together.
Hope it was useful & THANKS FOR WATCHING!

I always stop by the Klein wall whenever I go to HD to check inventory and prices. I usually find the item a little cheaper on Amazon. Man, your wife stopped and bought you tools? It wasn't even Christmas. You are so lucky she likes you. By the way, stop these videos. My 10" milwaukee tool bag now weighs 20 lbs...
I’m giving you an excuse to buy more tool bags 😂…so you can take three 10lb tool bags with you instead of one heavy one…
Yeah I hit the jackpot with my wife.
Mine too I just begged my wife to get the klein mod box tool tote. I'm not allowed to buy anymore tools until next year. I'm so depressed 😂😂😂
An even better option? The 32303HD at our Lowes also had the 11/32 instead of the 9/16, so we got the $20 32933G 7-in-1 Impact Flip Socket Set with the 9/16 that we prefer and paired it with the $22 32303 14-in-1 Adjustable Length Screwdriver. For only $2 more than the $40 32303HD, we get everything that the 20-in-1 has plus the 32933G includes a T25 and the 32303 adds another impact rated adjustable length blade (and that one has a permanent magnetic stainless steel bit holder). Having the two blades also allows the height of our screwdriver to be much smaller since the non-sockets blade can hide in the 32303 handle. PS. Thanks Morgan’s Maintenance for your videos.
Now all they need to do is add a ratcheting mechanism to it, high tooth count or gearless, and it'll be the one screwdriver to rule them all.
😂… true… and a lot of people want metric sizes
Yea that’s the only thing missing. Ngl I really like the new milwaukee ratcheting screw drivers. They are solid really cheap compared to kleins and offers way more versatile uses
They are selling a flip socket withought the handle that has the 9/16 instead of the 11/32.
Yeah I just saw a video for that. They may have it at my Lowes. I haven’t been yet to see what they have.
Thanks for the heads up 👍
BREAKING NEWS! Screwdriver addict draws his wife into the addiction!
You are really crazy with all these screwdrivers. And you surely know how to make videos on them.
Another nice piece of information.
Lol… I told her there was a new screwdriver out people might like… but I wouldn’t be able to get it since I was working outside of town.
She called me and said I’m at Lowes… what’s this screwdriver you are looking for 😂… and she filmed walking in and buying it. I don’t even do that!
I’m a lucky guy 👍
@@MORGANSMaintenance You're more that lucky with Mrs Morgan.
@stefankawalec2840 agree 100% 👍👍
I’m an elevator tech. While it’s a lot to carry…probably would cover all my needs. My only rub is….what do I do with all my other Klein screwdrivers? I keep saying, this is my last one…
I know… I have way too many. I do occasionally give some away to people starting out. I needed a new handle, my bit holder on my 14-1 has seen better days.
So they just made the tool we all made for $10 cheaper, guessing Kline was listening to people OR they saw your video on making your own “hybrid”, thats where I got the idea. Your right, it’s a heavy little beast but as you mentioned, if crawling or climbing into an area for the first time, it can be a savior. Thanks again for the information. Be Safe Out There
Yea very handy, I use mine everyday.
Yeah, I should be getting a commission or something 😂
I don’t carry mine everyday… for everything…. But certain things I love it.
@misaeltorres8971 👍
Shame on you Klein, come up with something new and innovative...or fire your engineers.
Shame on you Klein, come up with something new and innovative...or fire your engineers.
Glad to know there's yet another driver that fits one of my sheaths! I totally meant to do that.... haha Thanks for another shoutout Mr. Morgan!
It was a good decision to send him the sheaths.
1000%. I've already sold out of the 11-in-1 sheaths that I had on hand, and close to half of the 7-in-1 sheaths. The response has been very positive to say the least.
@@RileyKnifeandTool That's the synergy of the community. And it's nice to hear that a bunch of strangers watching videos can help with expanding the business.
You are welcome 👍
Good to know… I used my impact 11-1 all this afternoon.
I think its cool that klein listens to their customers. Even though i rarely have a need for a screwdriver like this, im going to get it anyway, just in case
It’s good for that… it’s not my favorite one to carry, but it’s my favorite one to take for certain things.
Thank you, this looks like a worthwhile pickup. I have not been in Lowe's lately (picked up my M12 Fuel Surge today at Home Depot), so will need to make a trip there soon.
The M12 Surge is great… it’s my favorite impact to use
How secure does the black push button hold the driver? I had three of the original 7 in 1 screwdrivers where that part was defective right out of the package. The handle with the silver button, I’ve never had an issue with.
At the moment.. pretty well. This one may perform different since it’s an adjustable handle and the shaft can slide in/out at different depths. You couldn’t do that with the 7-1 handle..
But that’s not to say there won’t be issues later, time will tell.
I do like the design of these Klein muti-bit tools, just a shame they don't bring out European style versions with metric sockets and pozi bits.
Many people have commented the same thing… crazy that they don’t attempt to go after the Metric people’s business
I just don’t understand why they don’t put the 27-1 storage on this. With the made in USA higher quality bits, now we’re talking near perfection.
🤷♂️… maybe there is only certain price points at Box stores where they sell things in a decent quantity. If they price stuff higher they don’t move as much.
I’m one where I would rather spend a few more bucks for better stuff
As soon as everyone goes out and buys this, Kline will update it to a ratcheting.............
😂… maybe. I’m not sure if they can fit ratcheting, bit holding, and adjustable length all in the same handle.
Do the sockets/bits fit on regular 1/4 shafts or do they only fit on that Kline shaft?
The flip sockets only work on Klein shafts
States electricinal application yet no ecx bits, none for the hvac industry, yet $40?
Klein have lost all their marbles completely if they think this is competitive.
Just another tool for free giveaways and seed campaigns. I guess that's why Lowe's dropped the price by $10 so better save your wife back for price match.
Sometimes i think if they put a shit in celophane will there be an video reviewer tooting it how great it is
You can put any bits you want in it. It’s really just the 14-1 Adjustable screwdriver and 7-1 Flip socket put together. So I’m sure they just changed the Lettering on the cap as the cheapest option to release the product.
At the time they released this it cost you $50 to buy the 14-1 and 7-1 to make this screwdriver so it did save you $10 (at the time)
It probably didn’t sell as well because most people already had the pieces to make it themselves.
@@MORGANSMaintenance Yup, I don't disagree with you. It just feels disappointing that something marketed as "electrician's screwdriver" doesn't really have the single most commonly used bit. There are no excuses for the design because other earlier models have in the set all electrician bits and all used by hvac techs.
Sir, you are making great content. I love Klein and Knipex tools. Keep up the great content brother. I saw the Klein Mod Boxes Saturday and that tool box system will soon be in my garage. I love that orange color. Take care Sir.
Appreciate that. I’m not the most gifted when it comes to filming and editing, but I love tools
I do too. I'm a retired US Navy Aviation Electrician and now I'm a Facilities Technician and Mechanical technician. Good quality tools matter. Tool control also matters. Take care Sir.
Great review and very timely! I just purchased the 32900 & 32303, and they're great. But I don't really need both. So sending those back (unused) and picking up the 32303HD from Lowes.
Glad it worked out for you… any money saved… is more tool money 😂😂
I usually run the normal 1/4 and 5/16 in the 6" shaft version. Was wondering how the handle size feels on these compared to the normal nut drivers. Specifically for the super screwdriver.
If you are talking about the Magnetic Type Nut Drivers from Klein with the hollow shafts.. the Handles on these “In-1” with the bits in the handles are definitely bigger around than those.
It’s not crazy bigger to make it feel weird, but big enough to notice a feel difference with your hands (depending on your hand size probably)
5:18 I just take my shaft put and put the Malcolm 6” in for use as care the 2, 4, 6 anyways for work. Now the one that comes w/ kr accepts a bit on ¼”…..not a fan at all.
Also, why is it that talking about tools or anything w/ trades is like a 9-12 year and learning about birds and bees….
Just saying but so true that it’s funny, imo😂
Cheers and 5g✌🏻
I do prefer the MALCO’S over the Klein as Nut Drivers in my impact for sure. This just offers some sizes that you can’t get MALCO’S in…
This is a take in one tool to have an option to do a lot screwdriver for me. I don’t use it for everything.
I have noticed the magnet on my 7 in 1 starting to pull away from the shaft when you remove a screw, but my problem has been over time, the sockets start to bind and become really difficult to remove from the shaft. I've noticed WD40 usually solves this once the nut driver sockets are lubed up and you force them on. Nonetheless, its annoying trying to swap to the 7/16 socket and having to hammer if off the shaft with lineman pliers. 😂
A few people have said their magnets have been an issue. I’m not sure if their newer versions will be any better.
I’m sure the more one uses it with an impact verses a screwdriver will definitely lead to different results in longevity.
Needing a hammer isn’t in the instructions for sure 😂
I'm tired of reading about a tool that is the greatest thing since the hammer. Then I buy it and it's fair, to poor, when it comes to doing the job. Klein has disappointed me before. Is this really a good screwdriver?
It’s a good space saver in your bag… but it’s not the best screwdriver. It wouldn’t be my daily driver. I personally (Klein wise) prefer the impact 11-1… but if you want a screwdriver that covers everything (nut drivers and bits) this one is a good one to have.
I actually prefer using dedicated screwdrivers in a pouch than changing around bits, but if I crawl in a hole or attic, I try to carry something that I won’t have to make a trip back in/out to get something.
Hope that makes sense.
Have all of those and got them 5 months ago and 2 were warranty replaced already as the plastic part that hold bits inside and from falling into shaft, broke and fell and then trying to get handle to close or open, doesn’t work, and the one pass through socket is so hard to remove the 1st socket as so tight and difficult. For the adjustable shaft, my fave is long reach multi it screwdriver which isn’t adjustable shaft, but it’s a great tool, imo
I think they did something different with the Bit Carousel on this one… I haven’t got a chance to look at them side by side (haven’t remembered to check) but a Project Pine Hills has a review and he talked about it.
You are the second person thats mentioned that driver.. it’s one of the few I don’t have.
I wish they fix this error of 11/32 soon. I'm gonna wait a bit before pulling the trigger. I got the 11 in 1 impact multibit and I thought that was the best, then they come out with this one.
I don’t know that they will offer this option with the 9/16… they may, but they will likely just change the pictures.
They do sell the flip socket set with the 9/16 by itself… but not with the handle
I use the 11-1 Impact a lot. It is good to still have it for the hollow nit drivers.
I've been using mine for a few months now and I don't have any issues with it.
Thanks for the update 👍
@@MORGANSMaintenance no problem
Holding out for the 42 to 1
It’s probably coming 😂
I made a mini super screwdriver with the klien 8 in 1 stubby and 7 in 1 flip sockets
Yeah that’s not a bad setup… almost like using a ball handle screwdriver 👍
Interesting changes... my flip socket shaft is "32907" and is labeled "I4" (eye 4). Magnet looks the same. The short version I have that came with just the ¼ and 5/16 socket is labeled "32766" and is labeled "I7". Looking at their site, I'm seeing I6, H3... all say impact rated, so probably just a model number?
Yeah I’m not sure why they have so many different.. the magnets are different on this one. I’m not sure about the other ones.
Probably I7 is a production code related to the date when the item was made.
I wonder what’s coming to Home Depot since Klein is out. I don’t have a Lowe’s within 40 minutes of me!
Loads and load of milwaukee's
Yeah I’m not sure… they have been clearing out the Klein at my Depo 🤷♂️
Walgreens sucks
.. but it’s on the corner of healthy and happy 😂
Just because you don't need a tool shouldn't stop you from buying tools you don't need I have all those Klein screwdrivers that I don't need Thx
Hey you never know when you might have 9 screwdrivers break one day… then who will be laughing at me getting out my 10th one 😂😂
😂😂😂
I'm almost there. I'm about 2 screw drivers short lol😆🤣🤣
@@Ras-Buju 😂
My main issue with multi tip bit drivers like these is that the bits don't last long. Rust being an issue. My tools sit in my toolbox in my bed and those bits always rust.
Try some Anti-rust capsule thingys. I've been using Zerust anti-rust capsules in my main tools bags since last year and have not as bad of a rust problem. You still have to dry things off when they get rained on or fall in a puddle, but they help a lot with the moisture in the air on a humid day.
I'll also throw silica gel "do not eat" packets in the bottom of drawers. The point is, there's something to absorb moisture so your tools don't.
Full product name: Zerust 11327 Anti-Rust And Corrosion Vapor Capsules
Yeah tools in a bed of a truck live a hard life… especially depending on where you live.
Humidity and condensation are the enemy
@@MORGANSMaintenance I'm in the north east, we get all 4 seasons
@mozzberg590 yeah… I have to pay attention to my garage and stuff more in the summer (humidity)… but winters aren’t to bad here.
I keep all my power tools in bags for that reason. I’ve just noticed stuff seems to do better. And that’s why I swapped to a closed tool bag. I prefer open top, but I’ve noticed I get more rust with those than bags like my MCT.
that's a good wife you got there getting tools for you!!
Yeah I am a lucky guy… almost as lucky as she is 😂😂
Just need a metric version of the flip sockets.
It’s doubtful Klein will do it… but maybe one day.
Excelente trabajo
👍👍. Thank you
mmシリーズは有るのか?
I will have to wait and translate this in my computer. It won’t let me on my phone
No there is not a metric version..
出たら買いたいけど日本は関税で倍の値段になる
@@patch33 yeah I just bought some WERA ball handle screwdrivers from Japan and shipping cost me as much as the screwdrivers
Weraのステンレスは粗悪品だから覚えといた方が良い
Just went to Lowe’s this evening (Jackson ms) they have the newer style flip socket as a separate tool by itself. Unless you’re doing hvac and you need the 11/32 for condensers the newer style flip socket is going to suit everyone else better.
👍👍… so they do have a 9/16. Appreciate you letting us know.
PS. Thanks Morgan’s Maintenance for your videos.
@@DennisAcesComp yeah… that would probably be a better way to go 👍👍. Thanks for sharing
Having the two blades also allows the height of our screwdriver to be much smaller since the non-sockets blade can hide in the 32303 handle.
Thank you for the shout out! Glad I could help with some investigating. I also found a new 7 in 1 on the website pictured with those same new sockets (32933G). Couldn't find it in the store yet even though it said they have it in stock. Wanted to see if it was the same story or if it has the new sockets. I'm keeping an eye out. I come across a good bit of 9/16 in my line of work so it would be way more useful to me than 11/32.
I’m the same… if you find them let me know…
Appreciate you giving me the info 👍👍
@@MORGANSMaintenance of course. Love watching the videos man.
@@JonathanLD312 👍👍
@@MORGANSMaintenance Update: I found the new flip sockets at a different Lowes. 32933G. It has the 9/16 size and is the sockets and shaft without the handle. Too bad they didn't include it with the 32303HD.
@@JonathanLD312 it would have been nice. I needed a new handle anyways… but I already have several of the original sockets. Would have liked to got a 9/16”
Any idea when available in the uk?
I have no idea… I’m not sure how easy it is for you all to get Klein items
they copied wera
I’ve only got WERA dedicated screwdrivers, I haven’t tried any of the multi but ones
Klein or Glein
Not sure what Glein means?
👍
Appreciate it 👍👍
they have a new one that has a 3/4 size at the biggest and 4 sockets. that adjustable shank is gonna be great.
I saw that one a little while back too. 👍
