Dove trims is fantastic for bias trims and they even sell by the rolls and great color selection! I use them all the time and they send really fast! Thanks for this great tutorial!
Thanks for this video. Seems like every other tutorial I have watched makes joining the bias tape seem so complicated and difficult. You make it look like can actually do this!
You got this. There are several other videos showing how to join bias tape. You may enjoy the last one I uploaded. ruclips.net/video/GUVvVQAdy_0/видео.htmlsi=R9fa9j5TBQf_yV2a
This is the video that convinced me that I need to make my own bias. I’ve made it before but now I feel like I need to make a day of it with different fabrics
Yep, we're looking (expecting) a new great-grandchild & blankets are always needed! Blankets & a matching burp cloth make good shower gifts. Thanks for sharing😊
I love the way you give detailed instructions and tips. I am just learning to sew and have a new grand niece coming, you help me to make my first blanket! THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
My God you are very confident with your finger and next to that needle. I do everything in my power to keep my hands as far away from it as possible lol
A co-worker is expecting and I've been making all kinds of baby things for her. Oh, no...now I have to make something else! 🤣 Thanks for a great tutorial!
Thank you for all your videos Jan. I prefer making my own bias tape because I can make it out of fun fabrics and it doesn't have to just be plain. I was watching someone's video Once and they were using a bias tape maker. I was intrigued so I purchased a set and even after watching video after video I still don't get it. Do you have any tips on using those or should I just continue the good ol' fashioned way? Like they say, if it's not broke, don't fix it 😂

I watched your bias tape video and it was great. Just starting making baby blankets for great grand’s. What size tape goes around? I bought some cause I’m in a hurry but I’m gonna try to make it too.

Wait wait. You need to do a whole like tutorial on this using the tape to like figure out the exact distance from the needle and Marquette because my machine has markings on it from the manufacturer, but they are wrong I have discovered. There seem to be lots of different techniques people use to kind of make it way easier to tell distances and somebody just needs to come up with like a repository of all those things like getting little lengths and getting your folds exactly the same way along the whole thing. Like I've seen little tricks but I haven't saved all of them
Appreciate your kindness thank you
You’re a great teacher!
Thanks. You are so kind
I donate to our local NICU this blanket will work up fast. And so cute. Thank you for sharing!!💗💗💗

New subscriber from Michigan great video
Wonderful and thank you.
Are you by chance from Utah or Idaho? It's a very subtle accent but I think I am hearing it. Very nice simple tutorial.
LOL, Yes I am from Utah! You nailed it. Where are you from?
I have a question > when you make your own bias tape do you prewash the fabric ?
I don't, especially if the fabric I am adding it to has not been washed either.
Wait wait. You need to do a whole like tutorial on this using the tape to like figure out the exact distance from the needle and Marquette because my machine has markings on it from the manufacturer, but they are wrong I have discovered.
