The Spanos family moved my Charges to LA after 50 years in SD. I feel for A's fans and what it is to have your team owned by a cheap owner.
Blame the mayor of oakland. She is not a sport fan.
I’ll say it like this I don’t know for a fact whether she’s a sports fan or not, but I simply believe the A’s weren’t simply enough of a priority to her.
I only saw a female mayor who only seemed to care, when her office and her email got bombarded with numerous complaints.
She decided to publicly light a fire, only after she knew it was too late.
She went in front of the Oakland media and put out crocodile tears
( after Fisher made the Vegas deal.)
Frankly on the A’s situation Nev. Governor Joe Lombardo and his office got things done in under 2 months, over the near 2 years Mayor Thao has been supposedly being trying to get things done.
For whatever the reason why that last statement is true Joe Lombardo and the Nevada Legislature moved way way faster than even I thought.
I’m someone who is in support of it and I didn’t thought it wouldn’t get finalized till September.
she was there though.
Shang Thao was amazing. See her interview with Brodie Brazil.
The A's fans in Oakland. Need to do a reverse boycott. Once or twice a week. To everyone's attention. That might help them reject the deal or moving the team.
Love to see this!!!
True passion!!!
Next level fans
To bad these people were not passionate enough at the ballot box because Californians keep voting the same way.
Just blow up Mt. Davis already… the team can stay after that, it’s the fix.
BTW Oakland A’s donated all proceeds from ticket sales of the “Reverse Boycott” to local charities.
It's time to leave that dump...
I think the simpsons prediction it.
28,000 FANS?.....pretty amazing considering the team usually gets maybe 3000 fans at regular games.......it's time for them to go somewhere that they can actually get a fan base!
Ya they got a fan base in oakland bit were tired of them trading away our players raising tickets prices and threatening to go to Vegas that's why nobody shows now
It'll be the same in Vegas, except with visiting fans.
@@toonces4xI can’t wait to see. Not sure.
This gives off a Supporters against European Super League vibes
Why did we ever socialize building baseball stadiums? Capitalism for us, socialism for corporations. It should be illegal to "subsidize" private enterprise.
Because money rules in this country. Corporate welfare begins with massive tax breaks and ends with billions of dollars in subsidies. Not coincidentally, most of these corporations contribute heavily to politicians who make the decisions about who gets tax breaks and subsidies.
The Las Vegas A's? It sounds like they were really close to making something good happen. There seems like a good chance it'll work out in the end and future.
I assume that the team owners are planning to return all of the tax breaks and subsidies that the city of Oakland has given them over the last five decades.
No public money should ever go to billionaires for a stadium. Not like they give the people free tickets and there is no guaranteed they will leave in future anyhow.
Na Na NA Hey Hey Hey Good Bye To Oakland A’s! Hello to Las Vegas✅.
Run A's! Run while you can! OAKLAND is a DUMP!
It isn't going to make a difference. They are selling and moving to Vegas. Just because fans show up for one game doesn't mean they are going to be profitable. Say goodbye to them Oakland....color them gone. #vegasbound
Who cares about sports. "FANS" never been a 'fan'. lol
wow...
@@BlackTarH surprise you? You must be a fan.
