@@Calico997ya because the owner won’t put a dime into his team until it’s gone to Vegas, it’s shame, Oakland has some of the most passionate fans in the sport for sure.
Besides the owner, Oakland is turning into a crap hole. The mayor wants to blame the Athletics but doesn’t do anything to fix Oakland itself. As much as I hated this move at first, I’m glad the Athletics are going to a city that isn’t a dump.
@@Calico997you say “even when they are good” but Glasnow literally says in the video that when Oakland hosted a wildcard game in 2019 the place was rocking … can you explain? Lol
@@edred7780I was a season ticket holder in 18-19 and attendance during the regular season was horrible. Fans never showed up, they only did during the Battle of the bay series and the 19 Wild Card game. Both seasons the Athletics were in the bottom 5 in attendance in 18-19
I’m sorry to Oakland I couldn’t imagine my team being ripped away and gutted I think it’s safe to say almost all of the Fans in Baseball are with y’all!
Energy is Oakland is insane. But when the richest owner in baseball doesn’t want to invest in the team, and sell our World Series contending teams at peak. How do you expect to go to games. It just started dying out too. Chapman, Olson, semien trades were the last straw. Sell the team
This marks the first time in 23 years Ive heard someone refer to the year as a double digit number. I like it. Ive missed that. "Back in '89" just has so much more gravitas than "2004 🤓"
Crazy how despite both the As and the Raiders having some of the most energy fans have in sports, both owners fucked over Oakland to go get that betting money
God the players, the fans, the staff, the city of Oakland itself deserves SOOO MUCH better from their owner… you can tell it’s SUCH a passionate fan base that’d do anything in their power to keep their team and ship Fisher off to Las Vegas by himself for the next couple decades instead..
Would have been cool if those fans that reverse boycotted would have shown up for the other 81 games a season 😂 can’t wait to see how Vegas shows out for this team
It’s almost like the owner is the problem, not the fans. Feel so bad for baseball fans in Oakland.
bro are you serious the stadiums empty even when they are good oakland is going to shambles

Tyler being on Reddit makes sense to me
We had cheer cards with instructions on how/when to cheer
Are they sitting on a bed? Lol
Yes it was a very intimate interview I def rec watching
Chris rose >
So nice seeing Cillian Murphy interacting with fans

I really like Glasnow's candour. Seems like a genuine fella

I love our coliseum btw, but it’s trash. Literally cracks, and piss on the floor. You expect randoms to come and enjoy a game?
@@Fatherdres well said
@@FatherdresI did, saw no problems with the stadium. Was it exceptional? Obviously not, but I saw no problems with the stadium as a fan
So sad what has happened to that club
It’s never been an issue with the fans. Cant expect the fans to show up when the owner sabotages the team.
No one can tell me this isn’t bro from peaky blinders
So dope. Go A’s - coli will always be the loudest and his comment about 19’ wild card is spot on (54k fans going crazy) F John Fisher

I was at the Wild card game in 19 it was the most incredible atmosphere I've ever been in. Would've been even crazier if they beat the rays that night
SELL THE TEAM!

That's Oakland Bay Area Northern California fans we are the best. Sad the A's will never have the support in Las Vegas like here.
You know its over when "The Fans" want you to leave the city.
I really hope that the owner sells to the public.
Alright, bro did not have to bring up that fucking WC game, fuck the Rays

Everyone knows Oakland fans bring it Win or Lose. RIP Oakland Sports sad for us Oaklanders
Me: *ears perk “Reddit!??!? One of Us, “One of Us”
Glasnow always been a cool ass dude from what I’ve seen
If I were that owner I'd troll the fans and keep the team and run them further into the ground lol. It's a good thing that I'm not rich I guess haha
Its weird seeing Cillian Murphys face produce a middle class white american voice lol
I don't even care about the A's, but I hope their owner looses his job, and never owns again... Also, Hope Oakland get's to keep their team.
He's rich, he'll do whatever he wants to do lol. A few thousand upset fans aren't going to stop him from doing anything I'd bet.
Not oaklands
'Like' sounds illiterate.

Vegas can’t even fill up a raider game with actual raider fans. City is full of transplant dorks
