I really do hope it stays in Oakland! The history there! Much love for y'all! From a Brave and fellow baseball fan!
I drive from Fresno periodically throughtoyt the season to watch the A's, 💚💛💯
All 5 of their fans came out. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
The A's are 6-26 and on pace to 30-132 2023 season.
That would be worse than the 1962 Mets 40-120
@@michaelleroy9281 We will soon find out.
All thanks the John Fisher.
Love to see it. Sell the team and be rooted.
If they move to Vegas the teams worth goes up by one Billion dollars
Why would he sell now and walk away from a guaranteed Billion???
If he sells it would be after the move.
lets go vegas😂
If Vegas is smart then it tells Fisher to pay for the whole move out of his pocket rather than have the Vegas taxpayer ante up $500M.
He wont sell after the move
I hope the As stay in Oakland. They’ve already lost their other teams. The fans don’t deserve this.
New owner or MOVE the team.
Are you saying it just for compassion? It’s business at the end of the day for the franchise, so yea goodbye Oakland. 👋
Oakland is a terrible city for sports that's why they are all leaving. the city council is the problem.
@@fp-fuddersmuckers Rooted in Oakland is now Uprooted from Oakland.
@@fp-fuddersmuckers k than don’t get public funds for arenas and stadiums.
Rooted in Oakland is now Uprooted from Oakland.
I really feel bad for the Oakland fans... Sports are corporate cash grabs nowadays.
Inept city government, the city is anti business and has been for a long time. Dumb voters let this happen.
It’s a business
@@TateBrothers362 A souless business...but they have no problems pretending they care about the cities or fans in order to get access to public funds.
Nowadays? Always been. Ever since the Red Sox sold Babe Ruth.
The worst stadium MLB! The fans should've demanded city leaders would have done their job and coming up with a new stadium 20 years ago.
I don’t feel bad from these had years to vote for change in the City council and get a stadium . So bring on Vegas
The city of Oakland had 25 years to get a new stadium deal done
More like The A’s had 25 years to get a new stadium deal done. What’s stopping billionaire Fisher from privately financing a stadium? Oh wait his greedy ass doesn’t want to fork over the remains $88 mil
The city of Oakland had too many years to get stadiums and arenas deal done for the warriors, raiders and a’s.
@@no40 Warriors and Raiders never had interests building a stadium in Oakland, that’s why they privately financed one somewhere else. A’s showed interest in Fremont and San Jose before looking for sites back in Oakland
@@no40 HT was announced in 2018 before the A’s and Oakland had any sort of negotiations
comparing Oakland coliseum to Fenway park is kind of silly though.
Fisher and kavel are LAIRS
Please stay We want a Expansion team
Please make it more vocal,, the more vocal Vegas be about a Expansion team the bettter
From a lifelong giants fan to the A’s, this is a disservice to the loyal A’s fan base and the season will be less exciting without our bay bridge series. My grandma grew up next to shibe park, and, although I may be a giants fan, I will always bleed green and gold
This is so touching.....wish Angels fans can do the same. Angels have been facing the same situation every year - even with MONEY. Their boss does not want to win. Every year the roster transactions don't make sense. They aren't putting together a strategy. Always big holes on both defense and offense. Their boss likes to buy 1 or 2 big guys every year and profit from them. That's all.
at least the Angels can go to the park and watch two of the best players in baseball. For the A's fans, your basically not allowed to pick a favorite player.
@@toonces4x lol have you seen MoneyBall? Buying a big guy isn't the Oakland way
@@HarleyPan uhh I have and not sure what buying a big guy has to do with anything. The A’s can have a core, they chose not to re sign anybody. Angels atleast do.
@@toonces4x I'm just responding to your "at least Angels have big guys"....to answer that, all their big cores were purchased. And money not spent well on what they need to get a ticket to postseason
The City of Oakland and the media talk about a greedy owner and a bad team but never about the Raiders and Warriors leaving they also forget about what a pit of a stadium the Coliseum is. I even have read comments actually suggesting Fisher selling the A’sans keeping the A’s in the Coliseum as an alternative to Las Vegas. Talk about being in total denial:
In all fairness to the Warriors, they move to a different city, but in the same metro area. Okland fans can still go to watch Warrior games regularly, only that this time the travel distance is slightly longer. As for the Raiders, Mark Davis recieved his fair share of greediness acusations.
Facts! The denial is only going to get worse and the local media will continue to double down on pointing fingers at ownership
I mean, Matt Chapman himself said John fisher has different priorities than they players. He’s out to squeeze every cent from anyone he can and not to field a competitive team.
Oakland is a pit. That said the A's are the worse run team in baseball. Both can be true or are you in denial?
I believe Joe Lacob could be that guy that might keep the A's in the Bay.
It's not a done deal in Vegas yet , Nevada has only one month to approve the deal
yes, and the whole deal has been very sloppy.. I have a feeling fisher has no intention of going to vegas..
Update...its a done deal
@@michaeltamares7974Paid for by you the taxpayer with a cheap owner who will still refuse to pay for talent like he’s been doing with the Quakes since 2013
San Jose Municipal has 5000 seats at Excite Ballpark
Get those protesting fans to buy season tickets. Oakland had a chance... same thing happened to Raiders and Warriors. They did not learn from it. Instead maybe turn your attention to the mayor. Do I want them to move... no. But economics can't support the team in Oakland.
Oakland still wants 3 teams to play in '66 stadium. 99.99% would be leaving also
We don't want them to leave that's our team.💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚
2:38 wow number 28 ! Bucket list thing for me for sure
This is very sad. But it won't do a damn thing. This move is worth insane amounts of money to the owners. They're not selling it and losing out on that. It's sad what pro sports has become. Disgusting really. So sorry for these fans.
Oakland will do just fine without the A's. Well actually it won't but it won't be any worse off without the A's.
The Mayor of Oakland stopped the negotiations. Go ask her. I think the phones in Oakland still work, maybe.
What is the Octomom doing in Oakland?
I feel bad for Oakland fans but The As went from Philly to KC and then to Oakland. Their history is all about moving
So then they'll move after Vegas? That's some of the worst logic I've heard.
Oakland fans can say they’re supportive all they want…but the numbers just don’t add up. 20k fans a game in playoff years just isn’t gonna cut it in the mlb. It’s also why the owners don’t spend more money. They paid $100mil in payroll in 2019 for only 20k to show up every night. The market just isn’t there for them to spend money, sell tickets every night, and remain competitive. Good teams that spend money, also get fans through the turnstiles in down years. The A’s weren’t getting fans in seats even in good years.
So everyday when they go to work they have a high level chance to get shot in a drive by or robbed?
I thought they were going to move to East LA and become the East Al Eh, Ehs 👍🏽👍🏽(in Fonzie's voice) LMFAO
I moved to Michigan the A's are still my team
Las Vegas Baby!!!
Joe Lacob should buy & save the A’s
Las Vegas As….Welcome to Las Vegas🦩 🎰 💯
You are "angry"? Why? Except for very early on in the history of this business, no professional sports team has ever been a "home-town" operation. If they were, then every player on the Athletics would actually be from Oakland.
Sorry, people of Oakland, the Athletics did not betray you, because they were never with you. They were just visiting. Give your loyalty to individual people. Never give your loyalty to an organization.
If they were so important to the east bay, why is attendance
ACTUALLY 6000+ but still I get where you're coming from
The owner is absolutely the worst
Refuse to spend money on the team, trade away franchise players year after year
Then when the team start losing and fans aren't buying tickets, he move to Vegas to make more money
I hope team owners shoot down the move
If it was a team like Rays, i totally support the move
Atleast they are winning, and they're willing to spend some money
What’s going to happen to the 50% stake of the Coliseum land they purchased if they move? Fisher and Kaval should be forced to sell it back and shouldn’t be allowed to profit from their scam to stay in Oakland.
What's even worse is that the MLB doesn't care.
The A's are so happy to leave Oakland 😃
Well, their fans are not.
Do a lot of people even go the games seems always low attendance
Sell the team? Who’s the buyer? What’s the offer? 🦗🦗
Joe Lacob (owner of the warriors) had shown interest in buying the A’s if Fisher were to sell
Joe Lacob owning the A’s would be so much better for the team.
@@RyanGiroux22 Yeah, I agree. He turned Golden State into a basketball-playing dynasty. Joe must buy the A's indeed.
They selling it cuz it ain’t selling out . EASY NO ROCKET SCIENCE
I love the passion from all five of the A's die hard fan. Unfortunately, that stadium seats more than 50,000 and you're the worst team in the MLB. This isn't about your feelings, it's business and dollars and cents aren't adding to profit. 6K fans per night with historic low TV viewership would give me the incentive to move too. Not showing up to games certainly doesn't help the case REGARDLESS of how much of an ass the owner is. I'm a Marlins fan, I know horrible ownership. The light has been out at the end of the tunnel for this team.
they are mad at the wrong ones. city council won't help the team stay after years of negotiation and the ballpark is trash. 2027 = Las Vegas Athletics
The city secured $375 million in federal grants, A’s couldn’t put up the remaining $88 million and backed out of negotiations
Las vegas offers better deal
I see an influx of giants fans on thr horizon
The A's are gone.
Bring back Brad Pitt and Jonah Hill!
Oakland athletics should stay in Oakland the fans watch baseball game ⚾️
Thank you, Oakland, for Matt Olson and Sean Murphy.
- A Braves fan
you can thank fisher, don't thank us
Las Vegas a’s
The same reason they moved the raiders, 49ers, the warriors and now the A's. It's more to do with that location and numbers that's coming in.... If they're not doing good the stands not finna be full.... And these events are supposed to be professionals... So if they relocate, it'll be only bcuz of demographics
Lowest game turn out of the whole league.. Las Vegas minor team is putting up up more numbers than Oakland fans. mlb is a business. If it don’t make money it don’t make sense. Just like the raiders. Vegas makes stadiums for every other teams fans. The new baseball stadium is going to be for every other team not the As. Team loyalty is not a factor in Las Vegas
Duuuuude doesnt change the fact you need a new stadium, think about the other MLB owners and commissionor, they want to make money, oakland officials didnt do anything and thats facts,. Vegas is doing a lot behind closed doors. Its his team and this would be better for the As
Not sure who is pushing this. But, they (A’s) will have to move, regardless. There is no market in Oakland. It has nothing to do with ownership. These people are oblivious. Warriors and Raiders are gone for a reason. Soon, the Warriors will have to move again, and so will the Giants. SF is the leading edge of the big collapse. RUN FOR YOU LIVRS!!!
Sell the team to Philadelphia Pennsylvania city ,it's where they were born in and really belongs anyway.
Someone tell those guys they still have local teams to cheer for in all 4 major sports.
Warriors are goated but No raider fan will ever be a winer fan. Maybe A’s casuals will convert to giants fan. But hey let’s go Oakland Roots
@@angel_51o that's unfortunate. Kids that don't grow up rooting for the home team miss out on the experience. Or they become a Cowboy or Yankee fan but have never been to Dallas or NY.

Las Vegas A’s
New owner or move the team. Oakland city council and mayor don't have the guts to make a public announcement saying that Oakland doesn't want the A's with Fisher as owner along with calling for a total fan boycott UNLESS Fisher sells the team.
Imagine the reaction when THE ABOVE ANNOUNCEMENT hits the national press and MLB HQ. Vegas won't have to give a DIME of public money to get the A's and some of us would love to see Fisher NOT get a $500M taxpayer subsidy to move to Vegas.
Let Fisher PUT UP SOME REAL MONEY. Want to move the team then PAY FOR THE ENTIRE STADIUM. Spent $1.5B of Fisher's money versus $1B of Fisher's money and $500M of Vegas' taxpayers money.
Like I said before Oakland city council and mayor don't have the GUTS to call Fisher out.
Relax, Oakland is on the short list to get a WNBA team. Forget about the As. It’s lady basketball time!!!!!
Don't rub salt on the wound.
😂😂😂
Farm team for the athletics too.
yeah no nobody watches the wnba
A soccer expansion team will come soon
Oakland has enough other problems than to worry about a few die hard fans that can't stand the A's leaving town.
If they don't get the Athletics they will get NBA
No, not with another NBA team across the bay
@@michaelleroy9281 how about a WNBA expansion team.
I believe Fisher will sell.... after me moves to Las Vegas and makes billions by doing so!!
The A's belong in Oakland, and at the very least NorCal
The attendance numbers don't back you up.
Please stop. Just let them go to Vegas FFS.
@@hoapres don’t blame the fans for a 6-26 team. Don’t blame the fans when ownership release Star players and no investment into the onfield product. Search up 2019 Wild Card game, coliseum was packed, had to open up Mount Davis
@@angel_51o Fisher is to blame for this mess although the Oakland city government didn't help matters.
@@hoapres bro has never been to an a's game in the playoffs or when they have a winning season lmao
The A’s are terrible anyway. You can’t help Vegas wants to be big shots. Vegas just wants to have sports now so I’m sorry about you guys possibly losing ALL the teams Oakland has had, but the stadium is trashed up, it’s been around since the 60s, and Vegas is how it is. They have money 💴 all the time, they want to be a successful place now for sports, why else would they act like big shots wanting to move the A’s like they did to the Raiders? Because they were terrible teams. Vegas has been successful in the sports world now and it’s irritating 😠 but it is how it is. Sorry A fans I think your gonna lose the last franchise you have.
Clearly the A's aren't THAT important to the East Bay based on the attendance numbers. New owner or MOVE the team. Fisher needs to SELL the team and hopefully a new owner would be willing to keep the A's in Oakland but I wouldn't place a large bet on a new owner keeping the team in Oakland.
It’s hard to root for a team when the owner doesn’t want to pay to keep any good players. The team has been blown up so many times people are just over it. Hurt me once shame on you. Hurt me five times, shame on me. Fisher has got to go.
Build a minor league stadium, problem solved.
A's are not going anywhere Vegas doesn't want them.keep fighting for our team
They they should’ve just stayed in Philadelphia, they were more of a winner in that city….😂
