Thanks for sharing. My mom left my dad when I was 10. Only saw her 5 more times before she died. At 62 my wife says she thinks that I have mom issues. Maybe she is correct. Thanks for sharing this information. 😊

40 year old male here never had a girlfriend. Here’s my history with mommy issues. From as far back as I can remember (age 4) my mom never hugged me, looked at me in an affectionate way, kissed me, or said I love you. She did this thing called the silent treAtment where she would pretend like I don’t exist. I remember crying and begging her to stop pretending like im not standing right next to her. When I was in pain she would look at me with a smirk, as if she was enjoying my pain. Starting at age 10 she would compare me to other boys and tell me how ugly stupid and wothlrsss I am compared to them. She would say “Matthew is soooo handsome his mom must be so proud to have a son like that.” Around age 12 I developed a passion for mathematics and science. And my mother laughed at me and told me “girls don’t date nerds like you.” Starting in high school I saw that the girls wanted the cool extroverted guys. I wasn’t like that. I got rejected by every girl I asked out. I got rejected by the girl I asked to prom so I did not have a prom date. Around age 18 my mom would make fun of my facial expressions by imitating me and making fun of me. She would make fun of my personality type because I was more quiet and enjoying spending time alone reading books and being creative with science projects. Whenever she took a photo of me she would mock me physical appearance. Then in my early 20s she would spread rumors about me behind me back to ruin friendships I had. Oh I forgot to mention - she was an elementary schoool teacher and she was SO loving to her students, that the few times I tried to get help for the abuse, people did not beleive me. I got rejected by women all throughout my 20s and 30s. I was told I’m a nerd, I’m boring, I’m awkward, etc. I’ve seen so many women date and have sex with irresponsible men who drink alcohol, do drugs, act very conceited and treat them like garbage. I am told that we live in a patriarchy and that men are evil. But let me tell you - the pain of being rejected humiliated and abused by the woman who is supposed to love you, and being rejected by women who you want to date because you don’t live up to society standard of the extroverted bad boy, it’s a torture that you can’t even imagine unless you experience it. I’ll admit in my 40s I have a deep seated hatred towards women now. I hear so many women virtue signal About how they want a good decent man. About how they want a kind man. I was kind and decent for 40 years and all I got was abuse, humiliation, rejection, and mockery. To the women out there who abuse their sons behind closed doors - you are the most evil force on the planet. True scum
I feel your pain my bro. Seriously. My toxic mother DON'T love me. She sometimes pretend like I'm doesn't exist at all. She NEVER said she love me, never kissed me sensually, she never hugged me with unconditional love, she never touched me, same with cold father and pseudo brother

So it doesn’t matter how badly women abuse their sons, boyfriends and husbands, they can always cry fake tears, play the damsel in distress, and society will view them as the victim and you as the evil man
Im really sorry you had such painful experiences. Please don't give up on yourself or the possibility of Love. Look for some emotional help here on youtube or professional counseling in your community. Hatred isn't helping and it sounds like you have many positive attributes & intetests that alot of women would value. Work on healing your trauma.

I have a mom who doesn’t believe in me doesn’t support me is all about herself called me a failure in my childhood think I mentally retarded even after I’ve proved everything I could to her wrong that I’m not but still thinks that overall just does not show any respect and is all about herself and only cares about money, but I don’t let mommy issues affect my future.
I’m a man, Never knew what love was from a woman, still probably don’t now really. My mum was physically abusive to me and my brother. My other brother claims that he was sexually abused by her. As an adult she purposefully ruined my family (my ex now and 2 kids), she literally manipulated how others saw me. Anyone have any assistance?
