Thank you for such a wonderful practice. I have arrived late to yoga (I’m 56!) but I am getting better and stronger with every practice. From an old bloke in England, Namaste.
Yay for 30 minute Ashtanga! This was wonderful! Some advanced poses I don't practice yet, but did what I could. My kids waking up earlier than planned and disrupting my flow, on the other hand, hmm... I'll try and remember my intentions and gratitude now. ☮️
Great Ashtanga sequence. Love the 30 minute classes using the rhythm and asanas from series 1. They are the perfect length for real-life yogis who want to keep up their Ashtanga practices and do not have 2 hours to do the full sequence. It's better to practice a little everyday rather than the full sequence once a week. Thanks you. Exciting!
You have such a beautiful and gentle way to lead through this Ashtanga inspired class! ❤Me myself am an Ashtanga Yoga teacher. Do more videos like this. Thank you very much! Namaste. 🙏
Hello there, Firstly, a heartfelt gratitude for this amazing ashranga yoga video, secondly for being so exhaustive in each of your asana and thirdly for being so angelic ans calm with your guidance throughout . God bless you.
Thank you for this wonderful practice and thanks for being a part of my daily yoga asana practice the past couple of years! Namaste Lesley! 🙏❤️ Here are 3 things I’m thankful for today: 1) My yoga asana practice because it helps me to be present in the moment and at home with my body 2) The books 📚 that I read (Philosophical, spiritual, yoga, etc.) because they help me to become a better person 3) My meditation practice because it teaches me to be more compassionate and accepting of my self mentally, emotionally, and physically 3 things I love about myself: 1) The flexibility, strength, and mobility my curvy body has 2) My eyes and smile 3) And how I do my best every day to choose love over fear during times of heightened anxiety
This practice was great, I tried to follow you all time, my body is not flexible as I want but I tried to do my best, your voice always is so kind, thanks for sharing, namaste.
Thank you so much Lesley. I really enjoyed this practice. I have been interested in learning more about Asthanga and I actually did one of your Asthanga classes. I enjoyed that one as well I actually love that one and will be redoing it again once i am more comfortable with the breathing required in Asthanga. I plan on doing your Asthanga course after I complete the align course. You are just so super amazing Lesley. I don't have time to go to a studio to practice yoga, thats how I initially found you. Well Im proud to say that i have been a patreon for a few months because you have helped me in refocusing on whats important in my life besides work and stressing over managing a full time job and a family. Well to put in better words the things/chores, items that used to stress me out all the time and leave me feeling drained are the things I actually love and am so grateful for and always have been grateful for them but before practicing yoga with you i never looked at things in a different light. Now I focus on being grateful for my job, my hubby, our kids and our families and friend and also just being kind to all beings. My job has not changed but yoga has helped me focus on doing what i love to do with all my heart and have made a list of things that are challenging and work on them. I am a home health RN and my job is truly very rewarding as far as being able to help others take care of themselves and have my patients get better and independant with daily activities and are able to self manage their medications and medical conditions what is challenging about is the CHARTING!!! its atlas 10 times more then working in a inpatient facility. oh gosh I'm just rambling on. in short what i wanted to say was that although we have not met yet, in my head and my heart YOU ARE MY YOGA TEACHER and i can't wait to meet you in person and learn a lot more especially related to correcting amy misalignments that I might be doing. Over the weekend I tried to look at several other you tube yoga classes and also on Giia just to explore and let me tell you i could not focus much at all, here are my observations: majority of the classes were taught with a very unemotional manner and not a whole lot of focus or atleast not as much as you do on breath with every movement. I enjoy your smile, your positivity and all the other aspects of yoga that you teach us about which includes: discussing Karma yoga, meditation (you have us do a shivasana at the end of every class), in Hatha Yoga Happiness you taught us on diet including eating organic food and need for water intake, relationship between us, the earth, magnetic energy. I think as a nurse I have to do a lot of assessments in a day on multiple patients in their home and their enviroment, we always have to do a physical, mental health and psychosocial assessment so unintentionally i am also doing this around the home and in any activities I do. What I noted about you is that you are soon passionate at what you do which is teach and spread yoga in our world which is very needed. ******* I noted that yes anything I have read related to yoga indicates that it is best to learn from a teacher who is physically present so the teacher can assist in correcting postures, however in my experience yoga is so much more then just postures, I need your smile, positivity, explanations, and so far i have not hurt myself seriously and I have been practicing yoga with you since February 2018. My question is that since you are my yoga teacher and my yoga guru I would like your input on weather I should invest in a few "live" classes? as much as I would like to hop on a plane from PA today to attend one of your live classes unfortunately financially I just can't make that happen until like next February, your input, recommendaitons, advice on my question is truly very appreciated. Namaste Lesley look forward to getting some direction from you
Hello sweet Jasdeep! Your comment sooooo touched my heart. Thank you very, very much for your kind words. I am absolutely honored to be your yoga teacher! I think experiencing live yoga classes can be an amazing experience as long as you find a teacher that you like. I hope you find some good live classes and I also hope I get to teach you in person one day. 🙏💕❤️💖💞
Loved this one! Yay for including some jump backs and such in a shorter "ashtanga" practice, I got some primary-series feel from this one with the lift up in the closing sequence etc. Thank you!
Yay!! I'm glad you enjoyed this one. I just filmed a new one yesterday with a former YTT student of mine. I think you'll really like it because it's an Ashtanga Second (Intermediate) Series practice. It doesn't include the entire second series, but has some fun and challenging poses! It will probably be out in a couple of weeks, so stay tuned! :-)
I’m not a great ashtanga fan, (probably ‘cos I can’t do the cross leg lifts & a few other moves 😂) but 30 mins now and again is just perfect. I’ll try the one below now... 😱. Thank you 🙏
I'm so glad you liked it! Here is a quick tutorial on tripod headstand: ruclips.net/video/MWjEhsEyZW8/видео.html This is a full (50 minute) class with bound hand headstand (the kind in this this video) as the peak pose so it will get you all warmed up for it and take you through how to do it: ruclips.net/video/Gndw8zyFAyE/видео.html and this is the 10 minute version if you're already warmed up: ruclips.net/video/lGqNpQXdR_I/видео.html This class is great to learn bakasana: ruclips.net/video/lGqNpQXdR_I/видео.html If you want to go right to it, start the video at about 24 minutes in and have a yoga block or thick book handy. :-)
I loved it as all your flows actually) but it's very hard for me to do a headstand and arm balances like you do to switch from the lotus to the plank. What would you reccomend to improve it?
Thank you so much Anna! I’d recommend that you try the YogaFix90 program. Also, if you’d like to set up a private online session to work on your specific alignment, email me at lesleyfightmaster@gmail.com 💕
Hello! I did your 30 day challenge and have been doing yoga every day since. I completed this class, however it was very challenging for me. I did not realize it was an intermediate class. Should I do more beginners classes before jumping into intermediate?
Hii,,figthmaster,,,how are you, lets introduce myself, iam Gmorphy( grand master of d'rhajaphala IYACH ) a yogi from bali.., ilove your pose yoga..greats
I want to increase my strength and flexibility and of course benefit from everything else yoga practice will give me. How many times a week should I practice and how long each class?
Consistency is key. Increase the frequence of asana practice (even short ones) to six days a week. The seventh day try something smoother like yin yoga or only meditation. Increase slowly the length of the practice. Even if it ten minutes a day at start, if you are completely present during the practice, you'll see differences in your mood, calmness, presence... for the flexibility i started to see a gradual and slow difference with 30 to 40 minutes practice each day....for strength, i really gained muscle definition by doing 50 tp 70 minutes 6 days a week vinyasa practices....but the most important was my overall energy and improving mindset.......takes consistency. Start slow go slow, but take a moment every day.....namaste and enjoy the journey
Still coming back after all these years. You are missed Leslie!! 🙏🏿to your family and loved ones.
Still going back to your page for Yoga, after almost 4 years. You had left a gem dear angel. May you rest in Love always.
Thank you for such a wonderful practice. I have arrived late to yoga (I’m 56!) but I am getting better and stronger with every practice. From an old bloke in England, Namaste.
Hi Austin, I’m so glad you’re here. I believe that you arrive to your yoga practice exactly when you’re supposed to, so you’re not late at all! 💕🙏

Thanks so much. Doing your best is perfect...you don’t have to be as flexible as me or anyone else. Enjoy your practice and try not to compare! ☺️
