I'm using JELOS as my OS and I havent had any issues running PSP games with many of em I run them at 2x Resolution. Hotshot Golf issues are due to the emulation but the version of PPSSPP on JELOS runs well enough.
Was this running at 1x or 2x resolution in the settings? Really debating picking this up for the screen and PSP performance. Though mainly I want to play Harvest Moon Hero of Leaf Valley and Innocent Life on it, and I'm sure I won't find testing videos on those games since the Harvest Moon series was never that big on the PSP for most people.
Did you have to do anything special to get SoTN to play? I have a Galaxy Note 9 with a Snapdragon 845 and I use the PPSSPP emulator. I unlocked the Original Rondo of Blood. The Menus work fine, the boss test works fine, but when try to play the first level all I get is a black screen and audio. I figured it was some weird glitch of emulating a PSP which was emulating a TurboGrafx, so I’m surprised to see SoTN running fine. I haven’t unlocked it yet so I’m not sure if that would work on my device or not, but Rondo did not.
Hey there, Rondo of Blood is the game that's already unlocked isn't it? I had to beat the second level (and also go through the secret route (drop down the first hole as the large wolf is chasing you)). After beating the second level, have to beat the third level and access an area at the top of the screen, where you're fighting this enemy that's attached to a wall. Best to check out a guide video for this! Symphony of the Night will run perfectly fine on your SD845! Runs fine on the RG503 which is much lower end hardware. If you can't be bothered unlocking the PSP version, just play the PS1 version. There's no difference really! (Very very minor differences which I've forgotten!)
@@JimRPG The original version of Rondo of Blood is hidden and needs to be unlocked similar to SoTN except on the 4th level. I managed to unlock it and can get it to load, but everytime I try to get into game play the screen just goes black and I’m not sure why.
@@JimRPG yeah, the two original games you could unlock were a huge part of why I wanted the game. I’m wondering if maybe I just got a bad ROM. That already happened once, I had a bad ROM and the music wouldn’t play on any level except 1. Deleted that ROM, got a new one, booted up my save and all of a sudden I had glorious music .
not for nothing but the oled adds another dimension to all classic games

I tested both Mega Man PU and Maverick Hunter X and it runs great in 2X Resolution. It looks great.

@@hdlts2 oh yeah now I remember about the original rondo of blood. I haven’t unlocked that yet. Just SOTN and it works for me.

Does it have the muscle to fast forward with less demanding titles like rpgs?
