    I wrote a comment here a couple of hours ago about how my Retroid Pocket 3 died while I installed the conductive rubbber buttons. The Retro handheld discord helped me out. I disconnected the battery, held the power button down 30 seconds and then reconnected it and it turned back on. I'm so pleased, I thought I had to do without the handheld for a few weeks while it was being repaired.
    Also if you guys are looking to do the button upgrade definitely check out Kei's RP3 button upgrade video - it is excellent.

      Also I tried to install the rubber buttons after I posted this video, which is why I didn't talk about it in this video. As I mentioned I finally did get it to work, and it is an excellent upgrade. I'm loving the RP3 with the conductive rubber buttons (you can even use the buttons that came with the console so you can keep the color scheme).

      This is a good competitor to the RG502, and Max 2. I'd pick the Max 2, for ergonmics, and d-pad, but the RG 502 and this have better specs, and can run gamecube games.

    You have such a great informative video here. I have been watching a ton of video reviews on this handheld and yours is by far the best. Dude this is nuts! Youre actually analyzing the amount of ram usage for games,,that alone would inform someone that maybe the 3 GB version is the one to maybe buy. clocking battery usage against other hand helds with that chart,this is really well made and informative. I just ordered this hand held yesterday btw,so excited to play Saturn and Dreamcast on this! In a way we finally got the Saturn and Dreamcast Mini we've been begging Sega for now. Ha! Absolutely love my RP3. Just installed the conductive rubber button and dpad kit and it's absolutely perfect now. You can use the ABXY buttons that come with the kit or leave the original ones, but you do have to use the dpad that comes with the kit. The black dpad actually looks really good with the otherwise grey buttons on the 16bit!

      Hey i agree - I installed the conductive rubber buttons and its so awesome now! They should have just installed it for everyone. Also I used the dpad from the device and it works fine, curious why it didn't work for you? Anyways good job!

      Hey Riptide! I really like them, but they are quite pricey! I think the Steam Deck is better value overall, but if you have the cash to splash the Aya Neo Air would be a good system to go along with the Steam Deck. I'll have a video up on the Anbernic Win600 in the next day or so, so watch out for that. And I have preordered the AYN Loki mini pro (the $250 one) and will get the AYA Neo Air Plus (the $250 one) as well which will arrive at the end of the year/early next year, as I think those are the best value ones.

      I don't know about Rocky, but I think you need an Odin to run Star Wars Rogue Squadron (I assume that's the game you're talking about). It ran fine on my odin, but I don't think I tried it on the X18S.

      @criptin4075 Год назад

      @@jamesyu5212 Those are huge numbers in terms of compatibility. The RP3 can only do a fraction of that by comparison and the Odin is built way better. Also it has a dock option compared to the crappy little hdmi port on the RP3. Its no fun to play on a big display when you have to worry about the cable and wireless methods will always have input latency making them inferior. The steam deck is way too big and bulky to me. The RP3 is mostly physically better than the RP2+. The only real performance difference is the extra ram and it running Android 11 which means only the ram is going to improve the emulation performance. The ram boost is so minimal the same compatibility sheet is used for both the RP2+ and the RP3. Also the powerhouse chip and all the extra ram in the Odin allows for a huge amount of additional AAA titles to be ran through moonlight. You are just being silly honestly. I have both devices and the price difference is completely justified for the increased performance.

      @@criptin4075 to each his own. I already have a retroid pocket 3 for light emulation gaming up to psp and a onexplayer for the more high end stuff. I see the value in a cheap circa 100+ dollar device.
      I don't see the value in Odin- a device thats priced around 300 for a 4 year old soc that lets me play 2 extra systems. Especially since I already have a snapdragon 8 gen 1 phone that runs circles around it. To each his own.

    • @criptin4075
      @criptin4075 Год назад

      @@jamesyu5212 Haha yeah and I don't see the point in paying that huge amount for a onexplayer because compared to the odin there isn't many other systems you are going to be able to run with it due to the limitations of emulation in general. I have dozens of handhelds a majority of the anbernic devices as well as a few rp2+'s. The odin pro is what allows me to run wii and ps2 along with more demanding gamecube games. I have something that can to do the rest already. Also I like using romsets which for larger systems can require pretty much the entire sd storage. For example my rp3 currently has my slimmed down gamecube romset on it which is 470gb large. Considering its on a 512gb card that doesn't leave much room for other stuff. I got a 1tb card for the odin so I can dedicate its storage to my ps2 stuff. I do the same for ps1; I have a miyoo mini, an odriod, and even a hdmi game stick with my complete us romsets on them. That takes up 450gb so again there isn't much space left for the other stuff. I guess it comes down to how you are using these devices and how much you value being able to play certain systems without slowdown and frame rate issues which for me makes the Odin by far the best thus far. I have a Loki Mini Pro fully upgraded on its way as well but since its a Windows device I will likely use it for other stuff outside emulation since I prefer using Linux or Android for emulation.
