It's the ultimate handheld form, plust the dual screens make for some really unique gameplay, even if they ar just used for eye candy, the DSi XL is still by far the best handheld ever made, I'd love to see that exact form factor taken,, the top screen should be a nice 7" 240hz SAMOLED+ 3:2, the bottom should be a 5" 120hz 4:3 SAMOLED+ touchscreen, powerful enough hardwarfe to emulate everything upto the 3DS/Wii-U, nice mechanical buttons, microswitch D-PAD, hall-effect triggers, analogue optical sliders (3DS style analogue sticks aka sliders with the best driving method, which is the analogue optical method, even better than hall effect analogue sticks) that double/toggle-on/off as touchpads (imagine the top parts where your thumbs sit doubling up as touchpads for arcade games like Marble Madness etcetera), and one last thing, give it good audio hardware, proper FPGA FM synthisis and a decent DSP and DAC with a good quality headphone DAC/AMP, bonus points for a low latency wireless HDMI output for playing on the big screen. Now that's how you make the perfect handheld console.
I already ordered a different heldhed, but if they come out with a better and more improved Flip next year, i think i will to for it. Love the fact that it has the screen above.
I feel you 100. I have an Odin Lite and I need a next gen up clamshell console, So many gamers are with me because this market is just full of options (at every pricepoint really..) for everyone, Retro handheld console gamers really have it all right now and it does not seem to be slowing down. We are in the middle of the Golden Age of Handhelds. REJOICE! HAIL!
Yeah I own so many handhelds but always seem to use the flip. Mine came with a different screen than my 3+, much better contrast. Makes games like Hollow knight pop. Love my RP Flip. Went with Black and am glad I did. You can shave down the little nubs on the back to get it to open up more. Sounds like you like the angle I did at first. Syncthing is your friend if you own multiple devices. I recommend using your pc as a "server" and making different folders for different devices to prevent accidental overwriting of saves.
I just did this with toe nail clippers after weeks of being to nervous to do it. Much better 10/10 would recommend. Just cut close to the shell and little bits at a time
I am so glad you reviewed this, I've been looking at the flip for awhile now but I've been sitting on the fence on whether I should get it or not, looks like I'm going to get it now haha
I can’t seem to find these anywhere. This plays most of the systems I would want and has the flip that I want as well. Anyone know what happened with production?
This is honestly a decent price too! As of the uploading of this video, its on sale for about $130. And it can be "docked" for tv use, plus safer to transport. I think I found a top contender for the one I want to get!
I get the same sensation when flipping open the GameBoy Advance SP, something about how it's closer and better oriented toward one's face, or how there's nothing toward the side of the screen to distract one's visual focus perhaps?
I don't know. I already have a foldable console, it's called my N3DS. It's not as capable of running early 3D consoles like PS1, but if I did want to play those I'd probably be fine with using the more sleek RP3+ to be honest. It looks like a smaller form-factor Switch Lite, but unlike the Flip it doesn't look so... plain. The 3DS has two screens, so it takes up a lot of that empty space on the bottom. The Flip doesn't seem to be utilizing that space very well. It could have at least put the speakers on the front. To me it just looks like a knockoff console in every sense of the word. If I saw this in a store, I would think "oh they're selling Chinese knockoffs now?" not "oh, that's a cool system". Portability is an improvement, though, and I can imagine anyone who wants a good PSP alternative with a foldable screen would probably appreciate it more, but for me... I think I'd rather just get a simple cover for the RP3+ or, if I'm feeling adventurous, hacking my Switch and using that instead. Seriously, though, for most of the early retro consoles the 3DS can not only play them, they look great on the system. All you have to do is softmod your system, which isn't very hard to do these days with such a wide variety of options of various different firmwares. GB, GBC, GBA, NES, SNES, SEGA Genesis, DS and 3DS games are all great options on the platform. On top of that you've got the Nintendo quality hardware that looks and feels great, tons of homebrew software for customizing it to your liking and any game you can find a rom of you can make a VC injection for so there's literally nothing in those catalogues you can't get on the system. All for the low price of about $100, +$15 if you need a new battery which is super easy to install (just unscrew the two screws on the backplate and pop the new battery into place, maybe put in a microSD card if you want more space while you're at it and then pop it back on real easy and screw them back in). It's important to consider all your options, though, and if you just *have* to play PS1 and Dreamcast games, but you don't want a screen that could be damaged, the Flip does have its appeal. I just think it needs a critical redesign. Fact of the matter is... it's kinda ugly.
Been waiting for a video about the RP Flip from someone who is also an avid fan of the NDS. It's my favorite console of a all time, and is near and dear to my heart. So when the RP Flip was announces, I was instantly curious. I've also been considering getting one of these handheld Android devices with the RP3+, Miyouu Mini+, and RP Flip being the ones I was most interested in. So I really appreciate the video Mr. Dweeb.
It's good in some ways (because the flip makes it feel authentic), but bad in others (the fact that the touchscreen is on top feels a little awkward compared to the DS's touchscreen on the bottom). Overall good system, but not an overly 'authentic' experience.
For sure. As far as playing NDS games specifically, I would probably just use one of my many NDS systems (I've been collecting the NDS/3DS family of consoles :D) if that's what I wanted to do. My reasoning for being interested in the RP Flip is because I was imagining it as being a way I could enjoy a couple games I like that are on Android + some light emulation (the idea of having Pokemon Unite run at 60FPS locked on it highly interests me lol), while retaining the feel or the "essence" of the NDS (you get what I mean lol) that I love so much. I'm a huge fan of the horizontal clamshell design for portable consoles, so this just seemed like it would be right up my alley. I wouldn't play actual NDS games on it though, except for maybe Pokemon or something that doesn't really use the touch screen much.
My first handheld was the gpd XD+ back in the day. it was the gold standard for dedicated handhelds, but the flips controls and performance are so much better. The sliders are better than those joysticks even.
I love that purple background, I've got a friend who absolutely LOVES purple, she would buy this just because of that alone :p I haven't bought a T618 device yet but this is still one of the main contenders. I love the size and form factor for something that can play a large chunk of GC and PS2 titles, plus it easily fits in my pocket. The only real concern that I had was of the hinges.
As long as the hinge holds up im all for clamshell design more durable , screen protected , more space for a bigger screen and mkre room for controller layout Only downside is hinge being a weak point if cheaped out on , so see how it holds up over time but its a great form factor , let us know how the hinge holds up over time
I can't say. I've only had it a few weeks. I personally think the hinge issue might be overblown. It's happened quite a few times, but because everyone it happens to posts about it then it feels like it happens literally every single time, however it's probably a small percentage. Time will tell though, I'll make a video complaining about it if it ever happens :P
RGB30 launches Yellow color, two weeks later > Tech Dweeb has Yellow RGB30 on video, very nice! I also wish I had the Yellow option when I bought mine, it's currently my favorite retro device!
NINJA STARS HAHHAHAHAHAH OMG thank you for that. edit - this is my first video watching you, the "force your kids into playing boring ass games" def hit a chord in a funny way.
Wow... a positive review of the Flip! I really loved it, but it ended up not being my daily. I have one of the original batches, and I finally had the screen cracking issue. I wish the screen was just a little tad bigger. Since this is Android, you have to do those swipe gestures to get around. Swiping from the bottom was very annoying. It was like part of the bezel was getting in the way of my fingertips down there. All in all, I enjoyed the device, but I ended up sticking with my Miyoo Mini Plus. The Flip felt like a slippery soap dish, and the Mini+ just fits better in the pocket. Maybe I will try the new Retroid 2 or the Powkiddy RGB30 next. Right now, the Steamdeck and the Mini+ is getting the job done for me; however I look forward to the next generation of the Flip (if we get one)!
Yeah I agree, the screen could be a tad bigger. Especially with those thick bezels. I mapped my rear function buttons to the android functions and that was a big help. LOL slippery soap dish - I'm gonna think that every time I grab it now :P
I keep thinking about grabbing the flip. It just would make sense for me to throw in my backpack so I can take it to work for my breaks. One of these days I probably will grab it
@@NekoLovely607 the steam deck is great! Honestly that is what started my emulation craze. You will enjoy it. I’ll probably get the flip soon just for the portability of it. I already have a RP3+ but I can’t just throw that in a bag without a case
@@IS414H The only emulation device I have right now is my laptop which is old and kinda busted and I definitely can't take it on the go because it has a weak battery and it's too big lol. My modded 3ds is the only device I travel with but I started to become bored with it lately. I'm definitely getting that retroid flip down the line. It's a much cheaper alternative than the ayaneo flip/ds which I have no idea when that's getting released but I had people on here tell me it's gonna be hella expensive when it comes out.
I think the flip thing is just perfect especially if youre like me and *arent super great* at keeping good care of things. I mean, just having it be covered all on its own is a life saver. But also it gives more space for your controls making it more comfortable overall.
I'll be honest, I've been really tempted by this thing, but I've just got worries that in a couple of years, the hinge will go to hell. I know that might seem like a minor thing, if I get a couple years use out of it, but... it still worries me.
A few things about the video. The indigo color with the white buttons is not to look like a GameCube, it's meant to be reminiscent of the Gameboy Advance. T618 stands for "Subscribe to Mr Sujano", everyone knows that. Finally, great video. I just wanted to make a Mr Sujano joke 🤣
I love your videos, but for the *love of nerd*, please include captions to let us know what all those beautiful games you're playing are. I can't for the life of me figure out what the shmup at 5:33 is.
Respecting other's opinions, I will list some of the cons: -very stiff dpad, mine was squeaking so hard I had to disassemble my unit and fix it myself. -very stiff and LOUD face buttons, everyone on a train were annoyed while me playing tekken 6. -triggers are ok, but make my fingers tired in a few minutes in arcade racers like crazy taxi - bumpers are hard to press when lid is open, which is like.. always when you need them :D -I disagree in pocketability - waay to thick. -watermelon color looks completely different from what the advertised. For me it's like 6/10
Pretty sure that bathroom statistic was made before the invention of a smartphone. Ayn Odin Lite is getting dangerously close to that budget territory. Not that I'm saying $200 is cheap, but it's pretty darn powerful for that price.
The Ayaneo one is gonna be great but way too expensive to justify for retro gaming exclusively. The Miyoo flip has HUGE potential, could be my new favourite if it turns out as good as I think it will!
Man didn't know you had a LDK Game. I have a Landscape one and absolutely hate it haha. Can't wait to finally get a proper retro handheld. If I had to go the Android T618 route the Flip would probably be my pick 👌Just cause of that form factor and widescreen.
Same here ! :) First one and never bought any ever since but I'm waiting for a RGB30 and a R36S for myself and a couple of Miyoo Minis + RG35XXs to gift to some friends. Honestly if it had a polished OS like OnionOS it would be an amazing device cause it can run a few systems beautifully. I know there's a few mini devices like it but doesn't seem like there's any recent ones that just came out indeed. @@TechDweeb
The empty space is obviously for a rad T-rex wearing sunglasses on a skateboard sticker. Nobody ever talks about the biggest benefit of a hinged screen, which is that you can hold it in a resting position without sacrificing viewing angle, which is easier on your arms. I just went from a GPD Win 3 to a GPD Win Mini and that alone makes it worth it. Comfort is so much better when I don't have to hold it up in front of my face.
On low it's not terrible but I just leave it off because it doesn't seem to do anything, the device still warms up and the performance is the same whether the fans on or off.
When T.Dweeb enters the RUclips Shorts space, I'll be looking for a Pow-Flip-Kitty quick cut mashup. Then I'll be flashing gang signs and posing like a baller. Cuz ... cuz I never get invited to join gangs and I rarely, if ever, ball. Pow-Flip-Kitty!
Another great video review. I prefer linux based systems myself, they seem less fiddly. I think that's why the RGB30 has been my go-to for gaming even though I have a pocket 2s which on paper should be my favourite.
How well does this do DS/3DS games? Aside from certain GB/GBA and other older games/consiles, the DS/3DS are ones id love to emulate on things like this.
i scooped up the limited sport red version of this thing and its still sitting in its box lol... rp3+ has still dominated my pooping gaming experience... i should probably set this flip up though its super cooool
I've been waiting for a jandheld with dual screens, once we get soemthing like the Flip with a 16:9 screen and a 4:3 screen, it will be the perfect handheld.
I ripped my (legally owned) Switch games (Hollow Knight, Shantae ½ Genie Hero and others) to my RG405M which I chose over this one. But since the specs are the same, the Flip is on my to get list. But the fact it runs Switch full speed is astounding. Only reason I don't completely enjoy the 405m is because the triggers have lost their click and become super sensitive after just a few weeks, so the Flip's triggers will be a welcome upgrade. Can't wait for a more powerful Flip retro system, I'll be like, a day 3 buyer or something.
How is it with DS games that actually use both screens? The reason I loved the RP3 was that it felt like the best system to play those on - hotkey swap which screen is visible, and touch the screen when needed. With this, I worry that it would provide a compromised experience, because you'd have to reach up to use the touchscreen? Which is a shame. But I can't tell if it's a problem - nobody talks about it in their reviews of the device!
I have mine since launch and no cracks, I have the watermelon flip and it's still going strong. That said, at around 4:11, it looks like there's a small crack on his hinge already.
it is not comfortable as the RP3 of you stan up or at in the bed…. but in every other position is better. But the slides are non as effective as the sticks. And it is a little too heavy
I *would* love it if it didn't just flip but had a dual screen. One without the other feels incomplete to me. I'm either waiting for a solution to drop, or looking to shell out for a Surface Duo.
I seriously hope that the flip 2 comes with a bottom screen, so we can properly emulate DS and 3DS games, also the control area would look less... barren
I got one of the originals so im trying to figure out some sort of hinge hack to prevent them from breaking in the future like some of the other original flips have.
I got a Flip but sold it when I got my Odin Lite.. though of course the Odin is more powerful my main reason was I was not a fan of the Flips thumb sticks.. though I get that they need to be low profile I just can’t use them for all games.
There are several complaints about the design of flip. 1.the hinge plastics are prone to failure. 2. ergonomics of the rear buttons are not the best for chubby digits. 3. the joysticks average 6/10 for precision 4. *forgot one, the screen doesnt open up enough.
can you do 2 players on these handhelds? maybe a usb hub ?? bluetooth controller with the uniit connected to a tv? can you do a vid on that... is there a limit to how many players?
You can just use Netplay if you wanted to play with two consoles or you can use a pass through charger plus wired controllers or a few Bluetooth controllers
Yes you definitely can! Either a USB hub OR 2 bluetooth controllers. I believe you can go as high as you want, I've tried 3 bluetooth controllers in the past (on a different device, but no reason it shouldn't work here), and it's a great experience.
I'm not impressed with what I'm seeing about the RP4. It feels like only a slight upgrade from the 3+, you'll get a bit more gamecube and ps2, maybe a bit of switch, but it's not like a whole new world of gaming or anything. And it's basically the same shape and size as the RP3+, it feels like it should be the RP3+Pro. The flip is a very different device, totally different in terms of size shape and comfort.
It's good that it flips and all, but I'd only compare it to the Nintendo DS if it has two screens, personally. You do raise a good point though on the screen being above the gamepad, I suppose that is more relaxing. Might explain why I've not been the biggest fan of portable gaming for a while.
I like that the flip doesn’t need a case
100%
I still have one to prevent scratching the outside
Why I love the v90. We need more flips 🎉
There's a reason why people loved the DS, part of that was the clam shell design.

I'll be honest, I've been really tempted by this thing, but I've just got worries that in a couple of years, the hinge will go to hell. I know that might seem like a minor thing, if I get a couple years use out of it, but... it still worries me.
Time will tell. I'll make a video complaining about the hinge if it ever breaks!
Oh right I forgot, all acronyms mean "subscribe to Mr. Sujano". I'll make sure to mention that in the future.
Cold Open: 12 "Flip"s
Rest: 34 "Flip"s
You're doing god's work @ajpenninga
I'm considering the flip because you can use it with a BT controller and prop it open for a table top mode.
Now that RP4 is announced, I can’t wait to get a Flip with that chip in it
which version of snk vs capcom 2 do you play, the Dreamcast version (best version), PS2 or the Gamecube?
Naomi is the one I usually go for.
You're the best, TechDweeb!
No you are!
I loved the GBA SP, it was one of my favs !
Same!
HI, would you prefer Flip before RP 4 Pro, putting the power aside?
If i didnt own an original 3ds xl i wouldve copped this but as it is i still really like the form factor.
I love your videos, but for the *love of nerd*, please include captions to let us know what all those beautiful games you're playing are. I can't for the life of me figure out what the shmup at 5:33 is.
Um... Look at the top left of the screen ;)
@@TechDweebdamn man, that cold hit me harder than I thought it did, I had no idea how out of it I even was. I truly appreciate you, Dweeb.
Respecting other's opinions, I will list some of the cons:
-very stiff dpad, mine was squeaking so hard I had to disassemble my unit and fix it myself.
-very stiff and LOUD face buttons, everyone on a train were annoyed while me playing tekken 6.
-triggers are ok, but make my fingers tired in a few minutes in arcade racers like crazy taxi
- bumpers are hard to press when lid is open, which is like.. always when you need them :D
-I disagree in pocketability - waay to thick.
-watermelon color looks completely different from what the advertised.
For me it's like 6/10
Fair
Did you try the retro 3+?
@@StevenT-f8j yeah I actually liked it much more than this one
me, a skater :
"you need to pop and flick, then catch".
Sounds hard
Pretty sure that bathroom statistic was made before the invention of a smartphone.
Ayn Odin Lite is getting dangerously close to that budget territory. Not that I'm saying $200 is cheap, but it's pretty darn powerful for that price.
6:27 whelp rumor has it the Miyoo Mini Flip and Ayaneo DS are in production
The Ayaneo one is gonna be great but way too expensive to justify for retro gaming exclusively. The Miyoo flip has HUGE potential, could be my new favourite if it turns out as good as I think it will!
Ive sadly literally only ever turned mine on once.
The steam deck and Rog Ally have become everything I could ever need from a handheld.
Man didn't know you had a LDK Game. I have a Landscape one and absolutely hate it haha. Can't wait to finally get a proper retro handheld. If I had to go the Android T618 route the Flip would probably be my pick 👌Just cause of that form factor and widescreen.
That was my first retro handheld! Still love that form factor, wish there were newer updated versions that went for that shape and size.
@@TechDweeb
Dig? Really? Great review BTW. I think I like my Flip because it's purpose built and doesn't feel like a phone. Bloody brilliant really.
No foolin'
@@TechDweeb Why?
I'm glad you are ok after all that flipping
The empty space is obviously for a rad T-rex wearing sunglasses on a skateboard sticker.
Nobody ever talks about the biggest benefit of a hinged screen, which is that you can hold it in a resting position without sacrificing viewing angle, which is easier on your arms. I just went from a GPD Win 3 to a GPD Win Mini and that alone makes it worth it. Comfort is so much better when I don't have to hold it up in front of my face.
You couldn't be more RIGHT about the sticker!
How does the fan sound on yours Dweeb? Mine is abhorrent, absolutely intolerable despite the setting. Also, my dpad right input squeaks lol
On low it's not terrible but I just leave it off because it doesn't seem to do anything, the device still warms up and the performance is the same whether the fans on or off.
I leave the fan on and it's fine for me, but I like the white noise, not too loud or distracting.
As for the D-Pad, yeah, mine squeaks too.
im glad they didnt put the right thumb stick right under the buttons.I had a device similar but my thumb would always rub against it
I'm with ya
I did 618 a long time ago. But I agree that everyone should do 618. So non 618, 618 now! This man deserves a lot of 618.
I with they placed the Start/Select buttons in that empty area at the top.
That would make a lot more sense
Another great video review. I prefer linux based systems myself, they seem less fiddly. I think that's why the RGB30 has been my go-to for gaming even though I have a pocket 2s which on paper should be my favourite.
Lol, the Sound it make when it pop in
I couldn't stop laughing when I came up with that :P
How well does this do DS/3DS games? Aside from certain GB/GBA and other older games/consiles, the DS/3DS are ones id love to emulate on things like this.
Same here want to know abt the DS and 3DS gameplay without any problems or not
i love mine. what frontend are you using and how do i get it? lol
Dig. Here's my guide
ruclips.net/video/evuTu5fnDls/видео.html
I appreciate you, Brother!
I feel targeted finding your video on the toilet lol
i scooped up the limited sport red version of this thing and its still sitting in its box lol... rp3+ has still dominated my pooping gaming experience... i should probably set this flip up though its super cooool
Any chance you know where the game list to this item? I’m curious to know what preinstalled games are on it.
No preinstalled games on this one. You have to add your own games. Check my guide linked in the description.
I've been waiting for a jandheld with dual screens, once we get soemthing like the Flip with a 16:9 screen and a 4:3 screen, it will be the perfect handheld.
Ah, finally an easy to understand verdict: LL/9
I ripped my (legally owned) Switch games (Hollow Knight, Shantae ½ Genie Hero and others) to my RG405M which I chose over this one. But since the specs are the same, the Flip is on my to get list.
But the fact it runs Switch full speed is astounding.
Only reason I don't completely enjoy the 405m is because the triggers have lost their click and become super sensitive after just a few weeks, so the Flip's triggers will be a welcome upgrade.
Can't wait for a more powerful Flip retro system, I'll be like, a day 3 buyer or something.
Imagine a smaller screen on that empty front real estate, that'd be rad.
An instant classic, 10/⅛².
The best part about switch emulation is that it essentially means we get android ports of all these modern indie games!
Great video, but the most pocketable T618 is the Anbernic 405m
Not if you have keys or ninja stars in that pocket ☝️
Love your vids man!
Thanky!
You‘re Welcy :3 @@TechDweeb
I really hope the retroid pocket 4 is a clamshell.
What theme are you using on Dig for the Flip?
"The Grid"
How is it with DS games that actually use both screens?
The reason I loved the RP3 was that it felt like the best system to play those on - hotkey swap which screen is visible, and touch the screen when needed.
With this, I worry that it would provide a compromised experience, because you'd have to reach up to use the touchscreen? Which is a shame. But I can't tell if it's a problem - nobody talks about it in their reviews of the device!
I really want one it has a lot of what I'm looking for the only con is the hinge. I've heard it cracks over time
I have mine since launch and no cracks, I have the watermelon flip and it's still going strong. That said, at around 4:11, it looks like there's a small crack on his hinge already.
it breaks when you flip it i dont love it anymore, like :(
:c
it is not comfortable as the RP3 of you stan up or at in the bed…. but in every other position is better. But the slides are non as effective as the sticks. And it is a little too heavy
Gave you a like for smacking you butt at the end.. im day one the next one.. love my RP4Pro
I *would* love it if it didn't just flip but had a dual screen. One without the other feels incomplete to me. I'm either waiting for a solution to drop, or looking to shell out for a Surface Duo.
You could buy a 3Ds if you want that or a samsung filp if you don't need the controllers.
I seriously hope that the flip 2 comes with a bottom screen, so we can properly emulate DS and 3DS games, also the control area would look less... barren
What is the square transparent handheld at 0:15?
LDK. It's old and outdated, but I always liked the look of it.
Did you upgrade the screen on the ds it’s so bright?
Nope. Stock screen. The screen on the DS Lite is actually not too bad by today's standards.
I'm torn between this and 3+, which is better
Same performance, different shape. Get whichever seems like it'd fit your use case better.
I got one of the originals so im trying to figure out some sort of hinge hack to prevent them from breaking in the future like some of the other original flips have.
Fun fact, I'm on the toilet watching this.
Wash up!
I do still love my nintendo new 3ds xl it's almost similar I would love this one for the collection
I really enjoy your videos... time to subscribe dude...
About time!
Looks great, but after having multiple DS Lite consoles I don't like devices that have hinges that will eventually spoil my fun...
I got a Flip but sold it when I got my Odin Lite.. though of course the Odin is more powerful my main reason was I was not a fan of the Flips thumb sticks.. though I get that they need to be low profile I just can’t use them for all games.
Oh and.... FLEEEEEEEP!
Maybe you can help with this qeustion about a mini pc.
Which one to get that can emulate ps2 to a high upscale resolution.
Any help is welcome.
I'd suggest the Beelink SER6 Max, that's the best Mini PC that I've reviewed. amzn.to/3N0eG0h
This would be great if it also allowed dual boot to Linux 😎👍 I got the SNES version, but that purple looks pretty cool
There are several complaints about the design of flip.
1.the hinge plastics are prone to failure.
2. ergonomics of the rear buttons are not the best for chubby digits.
3. the joysticks average 6/10 for precision
Flip 2, Flip 2, FLIP 2!!
It's missing that iconic 'retroid pocket' logo
Now if it only had a second touch screen...it would be great
You made me get rhe flip and now the 4 is out ಥ‿ಥ
I'm not impressed with what I'm seeing about the RP4. It feels like only a slight upgrade from the 3+, you'll get a bit more gamecube and ps2, maybe a bit of switch, but it's not like a whole new world of gaming or anything. And it's basically the same shape and size as the RP3+, it feels like it should be the RP3+Pro. The flip is a very different device, totally different in terms of size shape and comfort.
It would be great if there's a bluetooth flip controller for Smartphones.
It's good that it flips and all, but I'd only compare it to the Nintendo DS if it has two screens, personally. You do raise a good point though on the screen being above the gamepad, I suppose that is more relaxing. Might explain why I've not been the biggest fan of portable gaming for a while.
