Yeah man. The reward system they have a spinx is a game changer. I had up to $2.25 off per gallon but like .60 cents had expired so that left me with $1.65
Yeah 93 out here in sc is $3.75+. I haven’t used 93 in a long time. Definitely sticking with one gas station has helped saved a little. As you can see I was able to get $1.65 off that’s why it was $1.24.
Damn that’s actually not bad. I’m afraid to find out how much it’s going to cost to fill up this 36 gallon tank on 93 lol. Last time I did it was $170 93 was like almost $5 at that time though.
I envy you and I'm extremely jealous. My equinoxes feel flex and I would love to put 85 in it, but I'm not allowed to in here in New Jersey because I don't have any stations.
Nah if you actually listened to the video you will hear me talk about getting money off per gallon based on this gas station loyalty reward system. That’s why it’s $1.24.
A 1/2 ton pickup regardless of what mods you do is little light duty pickup don’t mean to hate but it’s true also with that spacer kit you better keep wheel bearings in stock on your shelf at home, that truck is going to have a short life modified like that even if it never leaves the pavement
@@flitai huh..lol all in one trip? 🤣 it’s not the separation that’s a issue, Ethanol is hygroscopic so if you live in a humid area it can be a issue since it pulls moisture. Why would I put e85 in the truck if it’s not rated for e85. Need to use logic and common sense lol it’s a flex fuel vehicle and I’m tuned for e85. So yeah it is rated for e85.
seriously man. I want to switch over to 93 since Im daily driving it now and can get more mpg but I feel like it drives and perform so much better on e85
@@TFBJFord I have the same truck except 2015 with the 6 speed. I’m running 5 star tunes on 87 I get 1000kms to a tank. Right now I’m running an e85 tune and e85 and it’s got so much more power
Only because of the loyalty reward system. It’s average roughly $3 here. But the loyalty system you can get up to so much off once you accumulated the points

Hell yeah f150 5.0 coyote. Got two of them in a state that hates gas and diesel. Ill pay what i have too, to keep them moving hahah.
lol dang man
It costs me like 80-90 to fill up my Titan with 93 at just under $4/gal. 26gal tank. Averages 17-20mpg city driving.
Damn that’s actually not bad. I’m afraid to find out how much it’s going to cost to fill up this 36 gallon tank on 93 lol. Last time I did it was $170 93 was like almost $5 at that time though.
Do you need any modifications to run E85?
Not with the f150 5.0. It’s flex fuel.
I envy you and I'm extremely jealous. My equinoxes feel flex and I would love to put 85 in it, but I'm not allowed to in here in New Jersey because I don't have any stations.
Dang that’s kind of crazy. E85 burns a lot faster though. That’s the only issue I hate about it. But other than that I like it
$1.24??? This must've been during the Trump era

I don’t have spacers.
Those rewards pay off now and then
What’s the backspacing on those rims? And the size?
24x14 -76 offset.
Can u put reg. 87 or will it mess with the engine
Yes I can put 87 in. I just have to change my tune.
What’s your mpg?
12 mpg
Gas at $1.25 ! I haven't seen those prices since the 90s
Yeah man only because of rewards system
Where you live with those gas prices bro 😂. I’m paying 2.54 for e85 rn
lol it’s only cause the reward system at the gas station I’m at. But i usually pay around 2.70-2.90 range for e85
Your truck is gonna use about 30% fuel when using E85 vs 87, so be sure to take that in to account.
I know. I’ve been using e85 for over a year now
And it also just goes to show you they can sell it to everybody at that price
They could. But I got that off a loyalty reward system. That’s only reason it’s that cheap. I got like $1.65 off per gallon.
$1.24 a gal? Where?
lol only because of the loyalty system that gas station offer
Plus the E85 guarantees you go more often since it offers terrible MPG 😂
Very true but the extra power you get. It’s noticeable 😂 I’m going to try 93 again soon though
The problem with E85 is you have to use it all in one trip, if you let e85 sit it seperates and ruins your engine
