His is perfect we just got 2 goldendoodles from same litter. They do wrestle all day long. Good to hear you made it through puppy stage. Gives me hope!!!!
Your post made me smile. If it helps any I discovered that if I began to do things individually with them they became more bonded to us as individuals as well, but still they wrestle some. I’m getting a video together of them talking and learning to talk right now. What did you name your doodles? Thanks for posting. Come back often!!
They do so many things everyday that just amaze me. Boujee says “thanks!”( she really tried to) I hope I have the video somewhere to share someday, but when I call them in I yell, “pup pup!” When Boujee is ready to get out of her crate in the morning she lightly yells, pup pup! I mean, who does that when they’re a dog? Thanks so much for your comment and for watching❤️
I’d recommend keeping pics of your puppies progress. They definitely fool you on how they will evolve. Thanks for watching our girls and please keep us informed how your fur baby changes too❤️🐕 Be blessed!!
Aww look at all these cutie pies! Lol. Had my dog Zeke and I subscribe and smile from ear to ear couldn't get him to stop woofin at Boujee 😅 puppy love at first site! My buddy boy says come check us out anytime and bring all the cute doggies always welcome!
My two puppy goldendoodle's are from different litters and they wrestle all the time, too. One born in NY one in SC! One wavy, one curly and both have large white chests.
That’s so cool. I’m DNA testing my two future moms to try and narrow the chances of the coats being what people desire according to the male they are paired with. Thanks so much for your interest in my videos. I never knew non litter mates wrestle like that!! Good to know for future reference for me:) My oldest female Roxy is super curly. I’m in love with them all!
Motherofthree B; I have 4 dogs and a cat…all get along. 3 are doodles, one mini f1b born in Idaho and 2 standards same parents different litters from Washington and they also constantly play & wrestle. My doodles all have white chests…the mini is a apricot, the standards 1-cream & 1-tan. The mini Abby started out like Bouji in the video and she turned from apricot to almost all white except the tail and ears are still a richer apricot color. Oliver is a dark tan standard with white chest and white paws, a sliver of white at the very tip of his tail. He started out with straight hair and his first hair cut he went super curly all over except the ears and tail are wavy. Lucy ( same parents) 4 months cream and still wavy…a lot of same characteristics as Oliver. Thank you for sharing!
@@holygoldendoodles My standards are same parents different litters and play/ restless all the time and my mini from a different breeder doesn’t connect like the two from same parents and 5 1/2 months apart. We are DNA testing ours as well. I also didn’t realize this was common with litter puppies until I watched your video and read your comment thread. Very interesting!
That’s exactly how mine were for months. I’m figuring out that Roxie is our “boss dog” and also plays at times when I separate the two Littermates. Thanks for your input! Helpful! We used both embark and ORIVET and they were in agreement almost 💯. Oh! If I let my littermates play in the yard for 15 minutes when restless, they calm down in the house. No wrestling. Are you able to do that? Do you have a big play area?
Thank you!! Boujee also is getting lighter with red ears and spots of red on backs of her legs. Your dogs sound beautiful! Thanks for being a great pet parent and for your comment.
Wow!!! That’s a big boy!! I love the big doodles. I bet Boujee and Paris might get that big. They are both around 65 lbs @ 7 months old. Aren’t doodles just the sweetest?? I’m so glad yours has a great home who loves him::)
@@holygoldendoodles ** It was my pleasure. This is our first Goldendoodle. Everything you described hair wise, we went through 😊. We are still discovering new things with our Doodle daily. And as much as it is a chore, I am learning to brush & comb him in between the professional grooming. Keep posting. You may never know how many Doodle owners ( like me) you helping 😊.
You’re so right about litter mates feeding off of each other. We got a boy and a girl Moyen poodle. For the first year I thought we would go crazy. They are 3 years old now and have settled down for the most part. The girl more than the boy matured first. We named the boy Dirk and the girl Skyela. I didn’t know the dogs color would fade with age. I learned something new from you. We got dark red dogs and now they are going white slowly. The tails are definitely white now, with the body getting whiter each grooming appointment. Ours go to the groomer every 6 weeks. How often do you need to take your’s in? Your doodles are very cute.
It’s comforting to have you say the girl settled down first, since we have two.:) We take us to groomer every 4-6 weeks. Now will always be every 6 weeks since fall and winter are coming. We also have to brush more carefully if we do that but it’s ok. We all learn from each other. That’s why I like reading the comments. I like having the useful and friendly ones. People learn and share somewhat more from experiences they’ve had. I’m so glad you’re here to share, watch and contribute to what some may not have experienced. Thanks for being an awesome pet parent❤️
I don’t think it matters if they are litter mates. We brought home an 8-week-old golden doodle and already had a senior-ish Great Dane girl. From day 1, those two have tussled and played hard together. Puppy Jimmy is faster and Dane Sadie Rose is bigger and stronger. It’s fun - and aggravating sometimes - to watch them together!
Only way I would get a Golden Doodle is if they were older. I don’t like paying big money and not really knowing what I am going to get by time they are a year old.
They are absolutely beautiful! We just got a female golden doodle pup do you have any training tips ? Seems every time we bring her out she doesn’t do anything bring her in and she pees . Please any advice would help
Yes. Every time you feed her take her out 30 min. Later and make sure she goes both pee and poop before coming back in. If not, put back in crate and repeat in about 15 min. Don’t freely leave water down. It’s a process but consistently doing this will get results. Also, we took ours to the same spot to potty. They are motivated by scent. If accidentally potties in house, clean with vinegar and a little dawn dish liquid mixed in spray bottle. I have even leashed my dog to my belt loop to make sure I know what they’re doing all the time. It may not take long or it may take a few months but once you get them trained you’ll know it was soooo worth the work! I know this is a lot of info, but watch potty training videos on RUclips. I had broken my leg the day mine came home and we were a bit delayed in training bc of it. Still, they are now 100 💯 housebroken. I wish I was close so I could help. Let us know how it’s going! The crate will help. Consistency is a must!❤️
Dawn, water and white vinegar.. I should say. Also, never hit them or rub their nose in the mess. They will become afraid of you. I just say things like “ oh noooooo” and take them out and say potty outside. Stuff like that. Keep me informed please on your sweet girls progress.
I’m a firm believer that you get what you put in to the dog, out of it. That said, all 3 of mine are very quick to pick up on what I’m teaching them or are smarter than me. Boujee is the most calm, meek and extremely loving and obedient. Their groomer says Boujee is that way with her. Paris is more of a leader and I find if I let her decide when to do what I want her to do ( like going into her crate) she does it on her own. I’ll make a more extensive video to explain each dogs temperament. All of them are super smart though and pick up easily on tasks and good behavior. Thanks for watching!! Thanks for your interest in learning about doodles. F1 is the same as F1b as far as intelligence, except for percentages of shedding and curly/ straight. Imo intelligence comes from the best of the standard poodles and the temperament of Golden retrievers. for instance Roxie is F1b and is much curlier than most F1’s. A lot of them are wavy coated. That depends on how much poodle to golden doodle or Golden Retriever percentage they have. My goal through DNA testing from both the male and female parents is to try and produce the lowest shedding and wavy to curly coat possible. I’m no expert or a veterinarian so what I’m telling you here is imo. Please do your own research and draw your own conclusions ❤️
We have an F1 Goldendoodle and he is curly all over. His coat has lightened since we got him at 8 weeks (he is now just over 5 months) but it looks like the next “wave’ of hair coming up is a little darker. He is super active and also super smart. He picks up on things very quickly; however he is also stubborn and has a mind of his own!
My dogs are awesome, always. My groomer will tell you. They are groomed every 4/6 weeks. The last groom which was just after these baths, Boujees tail was matted so we trimmed the tail hair short. My son was burned 68% of his body and was life flighted in a helicopter and stayed in hospital for 9 days. I wasn’t able to daily brush them like usual. Our groomer is a sub on this channel. Ask her! I can’t speak for other doodle owners but mine are 💯 taken care of medically, hygienically and get lots of supervised exercise in their 1.5 acre fenced in yard. Not every pet owner is incompetent. Many are not. There will always be lazy people who have no business owning pets or parenting children for that matter. When my girls are ready to have pups I’ll offer some of the finest puppies available from some of the best breeding pair in every way.
