Penny was a point guard, yes. A great PG before he got hurt. But putting Armstrong in at PG and moving Penny to the 2 guard was absolutely the best move in this series. It's 100% obvious if you remember this series. They got crushed worse than any team has ever gotten crushed in the first 2 and 1/4 games of the series before that move was made. Then after the move they damn near won the series.

Instead, he was more of a big "combo guard" who never averaged more than 7.2 assists in a season but could really score. He could pass, too, but he was almost more in the Jordan mold, only not as strong and consistently brilliant.
