Penny is just a smart player. He was pretty athletic too but actually knew how to play the game at such a young age.

This was heartbreaking knowing that it was Penny's last good season on top of the loss.

Whoever says Jordan faced weak competitions... look at all these great players, they played so hard just to be beaten by MJ...🙈

Penny was smoking in this series - last three games he was scoring 40ish ppg and this last game had 36 if i recall. I wished he was this aggressive during the regular season.

If Shaq stayed in Orlando, they would have destroyed the Heat.

Orlando would've won this series had the STARTERS not been out injured. Horace Grant and Rony Seikaly both on the bench wearing suits. They came back and almost beat a strong Heat team except for inexperienced Orlando coach putting Armstrong on Tim Hardaway on a clutch situation at the end. That basically gave the Heat the win.

We could have finally seen an Alonzo vs. Shaq playoff battle.

Fred Rucker Orlando wouldn’t have been a seventh seed if they had Shaq.

Penny were playing hurt, too. At the time he just thought it will go away but it didn’t. He have no help either. D-Scott and Anderson was👎 Dan Majerle was better than both of them. The heat got PJ Brown, Mashburn, Mouring and Tim Hardaway. Penny took them to game 5. Can’t imagine in Marvel Multi-Verse, where Penny didn’t get injured and became a legend bigger than Kobe and Lebron

This Miami Heat team didn't deserve to be in the conference finals that year. Without the suspensions the Knicks would had kicked their ass in the second round.

I agree .Heat was not that good and the Knicks were obviousely a better team overall.

D a m n ! Look at this Tomfoolery excuse of an O rganization. Lose an whole entire ShaQuille O ‘ Neal and what was their retort? “Hey! Y’all know Dominique Wilkins is? Go get his brother. And some bubblegum. That’s the trick to great coaching.”
