yep, same here. All I get is crashes with no message after loading up any scenario
manually installing the required c++ fixed the crash issue for me. i like how these days shit like this is to be expected lol
I installed the c++ that came in the files, still same (game launches but crashes going into scenarios)
@@meowinturtle6207 well i spoke too soon scratch that. i cant get in to the campaign at all without a crash right before gameplay would start, the benchmark crashes instantly and 1/4 times my game doesnt crash when i try to play a random map but when i hit feudal age my game crashed right away. great start so far

The bells and whistles and "under attack" noises are the only ones I can hear over T90, I wanted to enjoy the noise of the fireships but alas, they were too quiet to compete in this stream.
This reminded me of the Wonder game between Viper and Jordan23. Great game.
Bro those trebuchet attack animations are freaking awesome.
Interesting to see magic boxing in this game. Will certainly lead to some nice onager shots, or maybe even some value petards.

One thing I'll say about the unit stacking in DE, it's made the Steppe Lancer absurd.

Which i can't even tell from scouts. The units are too similar, the sounds too subdued. This is gonna hamper gameplay greatly.

The unit stacking might have some interesting positive implications for kiting with korean war wagons. Currently in any kind of numbers the pathing on them makes them terrible at it, (which makes them downright terrible instead of merely bad in most scenarios as consequence).

can't unhear the "new" stock sounds also been used in Empire Earth and Rise of Nations. It lost some of it's unique feel that way

I don't know, but I cannot get to really like the new look, although I really looked forward to it. They kind of overdid the shadows (which things throw on the ground) and overall contrast (in objects in general)... :(

Love the new graphics, worries on bloom totally unfounded.
I think the water controll is much better on this map because of the posibility of sneaky transport and access to demo ships.
can we watch older version (like conquerors) of recorded games in DE ?
It's always bothered me that every civ gets fire ships. They should've made ramming ships or something more historically accurate and the fire ship should've been a Byzantine unique unit. Hopefully in AoE4 we'll get better uses of Greek fire. They lobbed clay pots of it like molotovs, threw barrels of it from trebuchets and even used in on land via siphon flame throwers in castle sieges. It sounds like each civ in Age 4 will be more unique so I'm hoping for a fiery Byzantines. AoE2 made Byzantines a defensive civ, which is accurate, but that doesn't mean they didn't have great sieging tactics,

They made china into a archer civ but in reality China is a defensive civ with all the walls. Japan should be Archer Civ because Samurai’s main weapon is a bow or a spear.

I’ve been playing some games recently and have noticed that my large groups, even on aggressive stance, don’t attack.
Also when Konniks die and become dismounted they loose the control group and you have to re group them which is really obnoxious
its better to lose the control group rather than keeping it and having a group of cav and infantry, way more obnoxious to have your group of cav slowed down imo

I actually enjoy watching a slight drawn out game with experts. It's more enjoyable to watch. I always thought it was annoying at how quickly experts resign when they lose an edge.

Yeah, ships used to just make a groaning wood sound. Now that I see they changed it, I wish they hadn't...
And then the fire ships firing.... I think someone's gonna need to mod the sound pack to go back to the original sounds.

AI enemy in this game is pretty hard, and path finding is better. i'm satisfied. i liked this version.
I have some strange effects in the game. The water effects are kinda flat (no waves). Maybe its my graphics cards. Also, vils and units make no sound when they die (apart from the horses). Its a bit meh.

I bought the game, checked the requirements for my pc. But when I launched it it game me a pop up saying I don’t have 2 of the requirements to play it, which were not listed on steam ;-;

Guys, put pc power plan on High performance to get nice FPS. Lobbies exist on AoE2:DE u need to keep refreshing, because lobbies get filled in litterally 5 seconds!
Idiot, do you know how power plans work, clearly not? Firstly if you set it to High performance instead of balanced it means that even when your pc is idling it will use 100% power of the cpu at all times! That is insanity and huge waste of electricity and the life of the cpu. There's a far better alternative, it's a software called process lasso, what this essentially does is it acts like an advanced task manager and allows you to set cpu priority of the game to always start in max performance mode, this is the better and more logical way of doing it. Power plan high performance is literally retarded.

Yeah the treb explosions sometimes look wonky. Also I really dislike how the bodies just sink into the ground. Some good stuff and some wierd stuff.

@@T90Official thanks for the reply! I don't know what the deal is. 720p60 is the highest available resolution for me for this video and 97.1% of your videos. The only time I see your videos with 1080p are the HD edition game play.
@JoshSA123 Interesting thought, but it's been several hours and still only 720p is the best resolution available for this video. I routinely watch T90 vids a day or two after their release, and they're always just 720p. Hera's videos are all 1080p right away for me.
Guys as far as I understand you need a powerful PC to run this game, and even so, you might get stuttering and freezes. Anyone bought this game on Steam and wants to share some light ? Maybe it needs some updates and shit :D I have a i7 7th gen laptop with dedicated GPU, so ... Fingers crossed.

Interesting game with lots of mixed units. I dont understand why your going on and on about it beeing too long. whats your hurry? A map like this makes the players dig a Little deeper into the strategys. Tatoo won because A: He took the water. B: he attacked on all fronts while DauT just played the middle and tried to defend the flanks, witch weakend the centre. Well played both of them I wish I could even come Close to their play.
cant we have a double overlay for 1v1s? in a sense that you have two res bars, player name and age?
I really dont like the new way of showing players and all.
atm there's only one res bar, when youre on a players pov. but the problem is, you can never really be sure on whose pov you are. so just put two so we see all.
