It goes hand in hand with that video though. As you remarked she was stunningly beautiful, the most amazing face and she was so expressive in that song. When she cried it really made the video. She cried because of the line about her mother. The video director later said he shouldn’t have cut away from her at all. Just stayed on her face. He was right. I remember when that song came out. It was in the early days of music videos and that was just one of the best. Beautiful song, beautiful singer and a universal feeling. We’ve all had loved we’ve lost and nothing compares to them.
