4:27. Wow those gloves are in amazing condition. They look as if the man could have just left yesterday. You could still wear them but you wouldn't to keep them preserved.

Hi. Slate is shale that has had its crystals grow & interlock though metamorhosis. this is why it looks flaky like shale but is much stronger, able to produce large caverns.
    Cheers Daniel.

Fascinating how large the slate mines were, compared to lode mines. I'm surprised at how well they supported themselves without collapsing. The slate being so dark, it sure eats the light of your torches!

Hello guys, I love your content. Great stuff indeed!
I do however find myself wishing that your videos were longer. Only because they are so good I could watch them all day. Thank you guys.

Thank you very much for this very interesting and informative video presentation which is very much appreciated. It was great to see the artefacts, the winches, wagons as well as the railtrack, all in such good condition, despite one of the wagons being submerged for many decades. It is great that, thanks to you having the ROV we are able to see things that would not be able to be seen without it. Yet another way of being able to preserve the memory of these mines visually.

So, "the miner's deck chair"... how do you suggest it got there? Was there a collapse at some point?
