I think Ava was lost at the crossroads in kh3, whether that means she died or she's in some different state of being idk, and the Box was gained. Luxu uses past when refering to Ava's mission, meaning it was over by the time the Foretellers came back, and if the Box contains the data of the Dandelions like some people theorize (I don't like that tbh but it works here), then it'd make sense why the Box's existence is tied to Ava's

It does raise a lot of questions as to what has been gained and what has been lost. It’s like what Marluxia said in Castle Oblivion, “To find is to lose, and to lose is to find.” This brings up a lot of points indeed such as: the cause of events that happened with the Wayfinder Trio, Sora sacrificing himself at the end of KH3 to get Kairi back and thus ends up in Quadratum. So there is a crossroad in Shibuya and it could be to many possibilities: the fact that Riku is there out looking for Sora and one of those roads might end up leading Sora to finding Riku. There’s so many questions and mysteries, but I love how Nomura is letting us have our own perspective on all this and what we think about it! Nomura wants all of us to cook!

For Quadratum, I think Sora rescued Kairi but lost key memories of Riku as his best friend (there are some hints that are more clear in the original Japanese version, and the KH3 opening leaving Riku out of the Xemnas fight).
As much Biblical influence that seems to be in this game, some you have spoken about in a couple of your videos, I am always reminded of Jeremiah 17:9 “The human heart is deceitful of all things and desperately wicked, who really knows how bad it is” The MoM knows this and I believe that’s why he manipulatively tells everyone to “Let your heart be your guiding key” just a thought
