- HC Elite wiped in Hardcore Naxxaramas this Tuesday. Teeny tanked Zeliek in the wrong corner to intentionally chain the Holy Wrath bolts on the entire raid. Teeny even taunted the boss back from Legenz to keep it in the wrong corner.
Additionally, the pulsing AoE marks of the bosses goes through petri, so not even petri could survive the encounter.

I think the chance to permanently delete 39 other people's characters is just too juicy an allure for a griefer. What other game lets you do that? Official HC servers are going to be a sociopathic troll's dream playground.
This is why I'm not raiding official HC. I'll level to 60,and be satisfied with that accomplishment. Also not going to do an alt. One trip through, no pumping an alt with stored gold, so the AH will have limited effect on my one trip.
yeah most people play it for the leveling, classic raiding is boring AF.

Trusting 39 other people was tough back in Vanilla WOW even with the multiple attempts. Although making it as far as you all did deathless is amazing. At the same time this definitely has swayed me away from HC since if there is a mode for trolls to flock to then this is it.
dont let this situation push you away from it. avoid dungeons and just understand death in WoW is NOT a result of difficulty, but circumstance.
Why would anyone play a blizzard game in 2023 ? Lol It is like to buy food from a poison store... Heard of D3 ? OW 2? D4 ? D IMMORTAL ? Blizzard are not making games anymore, they are making ways to steal money.
How you call it when D3 came out, they put buyable gold with dollars, and in the meantime, they put reparation's cost X10.
There were players who could litterally not play anymore a game they bought full price.
And patch after patch, it was some bullshit like " Oh, your fire resists don't work ? Let me touch my nipple, and say there is nothing we can do to give you back your money, so saaaaaaad. Maybe in the next patch, or the next one we fix that without put another "bug" in the game that'll screw you.

If there was any boss that would wipe a raid that a single person can fail this is the encounter by boss placement. Any boss up to that point really can't be griefed or wiped by a single person. I can see it being done on Thaddius also.
People abusing petri gives people a reason to want to grief.
It would be nice if Warcraft Logs disqualified people on their logs if a petri was used at any point during the raid lol.

So what happens when a tank pulls too many mobs or fucks up, Does any fuckup you don't like become a grief? There's also no check on the mod team since you are the mod team....

It really is sad, but lets be honest here for a minute: Why did the Raidlead bring Tinyviolin to the raid? They are a known griefer who has had 16 accounts banned live on twitch. Why would anyone trust a person like this to join a HC raid? Not trying to sit on a high horse here, it is genuine interest.
Edit: I just wanna add, since this truly is heartbreaking - I am very sorry for everyone who lost a char in the raid.
Edit2: Regarding my initial statement: I just checked Tinys Twitch-Stream from yesterday, the chat was even telling him to turn discord up so they could hear your reaction to the grief.
since Official isnt out yet and this HardCore Challenge is purely community driven why not just every body keep playing as if nothing as happened and the griefer just got unmasked for nothing.

This is entirely the raid leads fault. He's not just known for griefing, it's everything he does. He lives for it. ANYONE, and i mean ANYONE that plays era enough knows who this dude is. There is absolutely no way they weren't warned of what he would do and they still put tinyviolin on Zeliek. The raidlead effectively killed all those people with that choice and he was definitely warned.

There is absolutely no way 39 people are this chill about getting fucked over by a known griefer after going all the way to Naxxramas. We are talking about houndreds of hours lost do to one scumbag and everybody is like "Oh no, anyway". Crystal clear what the intentions were.

Nothing to be pissed about. Was pretty clear from how quick we were killing Thane we could've downed the fight, and from there we could def do KT. Just a little sad we weren't able to properly celebrate as a guild but im super proud of how far we went. Just a game, not worth screaming over.

essentially their characters only get 1 life (HC) and that boss fight is 4 bosses you are supposed to split into 4 corners of the room cause they each do different mechanics , main one being a mark that hurts everyone in range. a "grief' is an intentional screwing over of another player and they were griefed by somebody dragging a boss into a corner with another boss causing most of their raid to die losing their 1 life.
Nerds were gullible enough to invite a known griefer for years in their raid. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Kudos to the griefer.
