Outside of the ebon blade and the leaders that were kidnapped and the player characters and stuff. The portals from like, orgrimmar to oribos were just game design. Because it would be pretty unpopular if you just locked everyone into the new zones and can't go back for any reason. It wasn't until towards the end were portals briefly opened, everyone went back, then canonically all portals closed. So canonically speaking you can't really just go to and from the shadow lands willy nilly. The only reason they could access it before is thanks to the sky being torn open. But that's been canonically fixed so... No going back unless someone from there side does it. Or one of the demigod dragons does it like we saw in dragon flight when they resurrected ysera. But there all about balance so they aren't going to resurrect khadgar for you just because you asked.

Maybe because she is kinda immune to arcane Magic, but a Void Arrow scares her more. Idk but it really shows how powerful she is. But i would have liked it more to see her dodge it or absorb it. But after all, a great video
Note, she had an artifact that absorbs power out at the time. My guess? She was able to absorb arcane energy, but it takes her time to set up an absorb and it does not work very well against physical attacks, if at all.

Khadgar in the Warcraft movie fended off Medivh's attack with a magic shield, however, he didn't do that against Xal'atath?? Khadgar was able to deal with Medivh who was possessed by Sargeras, however, he was overwhelmed and died by Xal'atath???
So some random spiders and some void girl > burning legion in its peak. Dont forget that there were a lot of Nathrezims in Dalaran and some possesed high counsul mages.

The only part that I am upset about is that I already wrote fanfic back in 2005 of the origin of my character being in Dalaran during Warcraft 3 and a mage teleporting me out against my will just before Archimonde collapsed it the first time. Heh.
He is possibly still alive because the only thing holding Dalaran in the sky and together was the magic of it. With the Heart absorbing the last of it, the implosion would destroy it, however, just because we saw his hand vaporize doesn't mean he is actually gone as there are numerous instances of this type of teleportation in Lore. He could've been pulled into the void to escape Dalaran destruction, Locus-Walker was aware of Xal’atath so he could've gotten him at the last second, he might have had enough mana left to teleport somewhere but not enough to pick a destination, who knows. Killing him like this would kinda feel like a jab considering how powerful he is in previous xpacks.

Predicting it right now - expansion is going to end with Vareesa and Alleria losing to Xal'atath, when Sylvanas magically shows up, claiming to have ass-pulled some sort of peace, or penance to the Kaldorei, where all 3 sister's combine forces to defeat Xal'atath. Where Sylvanas dies at the end, because much like Dalaran, once the plot-line is used up, Blizzard has a tendancy to just throw it away.

I still think his death scene was great, and far more fitting then a certain Ashbringer... the only way I feel this would be been better is if in his final moments he is like "You want... this city? Rebuild her yourself from her ashes once more," and detonates in an arcane explosion. But personally, I don't think he's dead. I think he's still alive, but if he is, then it's alright.

I don't believe he's dead. Blizzard have a habit of making sure we know main characters are in fact dead such as Varian and Tirion, it was alluded to but not confirmed that Khadgar has died. Sure Dalaran is RIP, but Xal’atath could have teleported them both elsewhere before the explosion. Blizzard also have a habit of leaving things ambiguous to get people discussing it more. I think we'll see him again either as a prisoner or puppet of Xal’atath, who we'll have to save.

Are you honestly telling me that Xal's void bolts are faster than Khadgar's synaptic connections, ESPECIALLY given that some magi have control over time to a degree?
I doubt he's dead. I reckon he escaped and is either hiding (cuz he's wounded) or has been captured by Xal'atath. There's a reason they didn't show his entire body when his arm was disintegrated. Compare it to Varian where his entire body was on screen so we definitely knew he was dead, as opposed to this, where only his arm was visible.

@@Manderenn She kinda just existed back then. In Legion she was just there as dagger, not doing anything. Maybe she did something later that we will now get to know, but at the times, she didnt do anything. We don't have any feats of strenght of her, maybe some gossips.
And maybe she will turn around and be cool. We had Lei Shen that was 1-expansion villian and was awesome.

Predicting it right now - expansion is going to end with Vareesa and Alleria losing to Xal'atath, when Sylvanas magically shows up, claiming to have ass-pulled some sort of peace, or penance to the Kaldorei, where all 3 sister's combine forces to defeat Xal'atath. Where Sylvanas dies at the end, because much like Dalaran, once the plot-line is used up, Blizzard has a tendancy to just throw it away.

Except... he's not old. Kadghar is only in his 30's or so. I still think his death scene was great, and far more fitting then a certain Ashbringer... the only way I feel this would be been better is if in his final moments he is like "You want... this city? Rebuild her yourself from her ashes once more," and detonates in an arcane explosion. But personally, I don't think he's dead. I think he's still alive, but if he is, then it's alright.

Blizzard have a habit of making sure we know main characters are in fact dead such as Varian and Tirion, it was alluded to but not confirmed that Khadgar has died. Sure Dalaran is RIP, but Xal’atath could have teleported them both elsewhere before the explosion. Blizzard also have a habit of leaving things ambiguous to get people discussing it more.
I think we'll see him again either as a prisoner or puppet of Xal’atath, who we'll have to save.

But magi are made powerful by the years they have spent learning and compiling knowledge, as well as skill. It's why every single powerful wizard/ mage is shown as being old. And Khadgar learned at the feet of Medivh, the Last Guardian of Tirisfal. Are you honestly telling me that Xal's void bolts are faster than Khadgar's synaptic connections, ESPECIALLY given that some magi have control over time to a degree?

There's a reason they didn't show his entire body when his arm was disintegrated. Compare it to Varian where his entire body was on screen so we definitely knew he was dead, as opposed to this, where only his arm was visible.
