My friend has practically read every spider-man comic there is. According to him, there is no solid reason for Jameson's unbridled hatred of spider-man other then the guy just wants to blame everything wrong in NYC on a masked man to grow his bank account.
I am so happy for this I want to cry! So happy Captain America spoke up for him and put Jameson in his place! I don't know how Jameson has kept his job as long as he had when he never got the facts right.
I love that Spidey doesn't ask Cap to help him with his reputation but is _just_ petty enough to read the newspaper praising him right outside Jameson's office.
"Reputation comes and goes. It's what you do that matters". I love how he immediately the next day just says to the newspaper "Ok. I can tolerate many things but THIS is taking it personally".
He wouldn't dare. You can put down Spider Man all you want but if he went after Cap, he'd have so many people on his back even the mighty JJJ wouldn't be able to get out of from under the pile of crap he'd be buried in. You don't screw with the Living Legend.

The zoom in on the mustache… 💀
This reminds me of an episode of the 1990s Spider-Man series where Jameson hesitantly works with Spider-Man to stop Scorpion and he says “I’ll never stop until you’re brought to justice.” And Spider-Man says “And I’ll never stop until you shave that mustache so we’re even.”
I wish that should’ve happened in the MCU. All I want is some levelheaded members of the avengers to stand up to Jamison especially for one who’s fed up with how he abused Spider-Man too far.
hell no not captain america straight up shaving jj's moustache after remembering ww2
that's some deep stuff there
I’m only now realizing comic JJJ has a Hitler-like mustache. Very fitting for Cap to set him straight
2:30 nah man they didnt shook it, they dab it up lmao 😂
DAB ME UP, BRO! YEAH! MODOK A LITTLE B***H! YO, WATCHU NEED? SOMEONE TALKIN' CRAP!? I GOTCHU!!
*Dabs up like a Lythero video, then goes to use years of fighting nazis as leverage against someone who claims to be patriot.*
One of my favorite comic books ever, 2 great superheroes interacting and respecting eachother like they should
Oh wow, I saw this on another channel, and I missed the most ache bit! Thanks! Subscribed. ✨✅✨
🤣 Serves him right! Thanks for standing up for Spiderman, Captain America
Imagine if Cpt America sees the mustache, triggers his PTSD and unalives the guy
Both of these two are soo heartfull.
Saying “I know what a menace looks like” while zooming in on the hitler stache was hilarious
I always thought Spider-Man and Cap were a better duo than Iron Man and Spider-Man
I love this comic
very cool short story.
i love to see Cap on patrol, Marvel should let other heroes do some more ground work like this. X-Men played around with them on patrol too a few years back.
However. JJJ was written a bit out of his regular self.
i feel he would change a story or be bullied in to doing so, even by cap.
he would spin that cap was under the influence by Spidey or something.
JJJ for the longest time actually believed he was right about spidey being a menace.
Also JJJ has a heart of gold and is (besides being a jerk to Spidey) a genuine good guy
My friend has practically read every spider-man comic there is. According to him, there is no solid reason for Jameson's unbridled hatred of spider-man other then the guy just wants to blame everything wrong in NYC on a masked man to grow his bank account.
I love superheros like Captain America, Spider man, Superman, and The flash that are just genuinely good guys
Cap being the heart of America
I am so happy for this I want to cry! So happy Captain America spoke up for him and put Jameson in his place! I don't know how Jameson has kept his job as long as he had when he never got the facts right.
Yeah, HIS signature mustache 😂
"I know what i menace looks like" as the panel zooms on his stache is golden lmao
4:12 Is it just me or does Mr. Jameson almost look like Hitler?
That's the implications
I love that Spidey doesn't ask Cap to help him with his reputation but is _just_ petty enough to read the newspaper praising him right outside Jameson's office.
I know why Cap looked so closely at JJ's beard
"Reputation comes and goes. It's what you do that matters".
I love how he immediately the next day just says to the newspaper "Ok. I can tolerate many things but THIS is taking it personally".
Don’t really care for captain America but “I know what a menace looks like” is hilarious. Pans to his hitler stache
Having THAT mustache in front of a WWII vet will never end well
I like how he is zoomed into the mustache
It would have been hilarious is Jameson hated Spider-Man so much that his next headline was “Captain America joins Spider-Man’s criminal enterprise”
He wouldn't dare. You can put down Spider Man all you want but if he went after Cap, he'd have so many people on his back even the mighty JJJ wouldn't be able to get out of from under the pile of crap he'd be buried in. You don't screw with the Living Legend.
