I love how much in universe the death of Spider-Man always symbolizes the end of the age of heroes, with his death everyone's hope dies as well
That doesn’t make sense than why is he HATED so much than people constantly take a massive shit on him disrespect him slander his name causes people to falsely believe the story’s told about him , for example he can’t be everywhere at once but people act like he should be and other typical things people have against hero’s they see them not as humans with flaws like everyone else’s but set impossible expectations and they obviously can’t reach them they use that fact to somehow prove they are right.

It’s *the writers* who are the problem. They’re the ones with the hate boner I just don’t understand, but they write some truly despicable stories on Spider-man way too often. Writing the most revolting and horrific of ends, it’s like he cut them in the lunch line (without knowing, he was just faster) and they’ve spent their whole lives determined to end him in the most dismal and pathetic way.
It’s insanity there, I’ll give you that. But otherwise, I almost always usually see fans coming from the other direction. Why would they write the comic this way? How monstrous are they to write disgusting crap into a heroic story (^cough^PaulSelfInsert^cough^) Why will they not stop ending him in millions of ways they don’t do that to the other heroes??(at least, in their own stories)

If you want a story he doesn’t, there is a book called “Spiderman- Reign” and it’s about spiderman when he’s in his later years.
Both Spider-Man and Batman deaths are shock values. They’re fan favorite of both franchises.

The poor veteran who lost both legs because of an explosion isn't buying a full suit with both legs, a pair of arms and a chest plate, they are using a pair of legs, because a pair of legs is what they need, a robotic soldier from whom you only control the legs ain't good chief.
@Nobody-zl3kk if we make exo skeletons, they'd be used for military purposes for YEARS before civilian purposes, then they'd be used for corporations, and then after THAT, they'd be used for the general public. They'd have no need to hack them lol.

Captain America respects Spider-Man more than he respects most other heroes, so it makes sense that his death would be the thing that breaks him. Must be a New Yorker thing.

@@Krab17 No, you can ignore everything having to do with Miles if you are a fan of Spider-Man. Miles was created to replace Peter, a DEI plant. Notice how they NEVER use his actual hero name? This is intentional. Miles is the Shadow Spider, NOT Spider-Man. I would also point to all the extra abilities he has, while every other alternate Spider that adds something always loses something else.
The worst part? They ignored two AMAZING minority Spiders because they weren't black. Miguel (2099) and Cindy (Silk). Neither of which they even attempted to focus on because they were in a "We need black heroes to replace current ones" mindset.
Tony respects the hell out of Peter in the comics. Hell Peter has proven to be far craftier than Tony most of the time and outright smarter when it comes to taking existing tech and making it smaller. The smartest man in Earth, Reed Richards, asks Peter to look over his notes whenever Peter visits (what, you forgot that Peter is the 5th member of the Fantastic Four? They never kicked him out, and all 4 of them told him he is family. Johnny is his legit best friend and Sue very much acts like his older sister). The infamous Iron Spider suit was a gift from Tony in the Civil War arc...and Peter made improvements to it that confounded Tony and prevented Tony from controlling the suit.
@@Nempo13 The worst part is Miles isnt a bad character, but he's not Peter Parker and the way they try to unceromoniously kill ultimate spiderman off is some garbage. Miles could be a fantastic character, but all they do is try to shove into reworked spiderman plotlines. I mean they finally give him his own movie and the first thing they do is make him try to bang Gwen Stacey.

I love this series already. I always like the “old fashioned superhero vs modern cynicism” storyline like Superman vs the elite. I hope you continue it because I can’t really buy comics and I’d love to see more of this series

Alex Ross in Story and Art? Did I hear that right? DC needs Ross right now. Mark Raid did a wonderful story with Kingdom Come, but he sadly has gotten lost in weak Propaganda, blind to the real Cynicism of the world
We need Ross to make a story with Superman, or at least someone who understands the Character and who he is as a person.
A story where Superman is the last Hero of his Generation, from 1938 to 98, 60 years since the days of Heroes, days of Gods and Monsters, days that just seemed so much brighter despite how dark it was.

Well. He is Spider-man. One of the best, and also a fan favorite. That means basically his life is "Parker luck" (to rope him into another adventure) and his death a beacon.

He is weaker than he's ever been, he has no friends anymore, Miles doesn't seem to have any respect for him, Osborn is the only one who treat Peter with respect, and that's not even going over everything about Paul.
I might be exagerating a little bit since it's been a while since I read the Mainline Spider-Man comics and I refuse to touch them again.

I swear man the writers treat Peter like he isn’t the web that holds the marvel universe together, they consistently make his life hell and have him die or others close to him die as often as possible, and being a fan of Spider-Man since I was 2 that really pisses me off
In DC the entire justice league is held together by Flash. Without him Superman and WW just go straight off the deep end. Also Peter can only get a good ending if he doesn't have his powers, it's basically his curse.

Its good that the Zdarsky killed Spider-Man first, it would add more to the stakes, and not stealing Cap's spotlight. The writer wrote some of the best comics ever, im 100% sure this comic will be lit 🔥

Honestly this is a breath of fresh air because comics nowadays kind of felt like it did not hold true to its predecessors as you know that art imitates life but nowadays art just feels dirty and not as unique compared to back in the day where we had Howard the ducks or Spider-Man or Batman along with Superman like it just did not feel right now it is we’re coming so trying to put their own agenda into it and making it seem like this is the way comics should be. I saw the character concept arts on insta by a guy that drew the cover for this. Iron man is so cool cause he got his classic comics suit but all red and more arc reactors keeping up with the og comics time and adding futuristic elements

Spider man isn’t just a good hero he is literally what it would actually be like to have super powers more than likely for most.he is not just a good hero but a vary tragic and guilt ridden one who in universe gets the shaft harder than most and who is often a more unsung hero in many ways as most in universe only know him as spider man but to truly appreciate how much he gives you need to examine him as a person not just a hero.he is without a doubt one of the most tragic characters you can find once you look into him and beneath that smile is and sarcasm is pain an a unending story of the butterfly effect and how like it or not we all in one way or another affect one another some more than others but still. 0:21

It’s not just the civilians who suffer from these huge battles but the heroes too, proves that just because they are gifted with powers they are no different to us. It’s sad that the older heroes have been cast to the wayside forgotten.
