You neglected to tell all these poor souls that it has to be a controller for the Xbox One S, not simply the Xbox One. I found out the hard way after having issues and then watching someone else's video.
My controller just turns back to normal and my bluetooth stops scanning. It wont connect :( Is there a specific phone or controller you need to do this?
@@abdelrahmanhaisam9370 The reason why was because the controller I was using didn't have bluetooth on it, you can look up how to know if an xbox controller has bluetooth or not
I successfully paired my x-box controller with my android but whenever I try to use a game the buttons on the controller will continue to perform shortkeys for the phone itself (i.e. pressing select doesn't press select in the game, it actually backs you out of whatever app you're in). Is there anyway to turn off these shortkeys for the phone?
Okay, my xbox controller likes to freeze and hold down buttons for a second then continue to act like a controller and it continue to do that. How do I fix this?

Thanks. I'd add that with mine I had to use batteries in the Xbox controller. Having it plugged up when pairing wouldn't work, but after I paired it I can use it without the batteries

@Shuppet Park I confirmed this in my case all of my controllers are universal controllers and none (4) showed up I tried my son's controller and it showed up in bluetooth. My original One S controller messed up a while ago so I had to switch it out never thought there was a difference until now. Thank you.

No you need a Bluetooth compatible controller for Android, Xbox 360 controller is not Bluetooth and first generation Xbox one controller haven't Bluetooth, for call of duty Mobile only Xbox one controller and PS4 controller have support for the game

you forgot to explain that the controller has to be the new version of it, not the old version with the plastic peace on top, I was not able to connect via bluetooth I had to use a usb cable for my old version controller.

Don't know why you emphasize using 2 fingers to use the drop down menu when you can do the same function with just one finger for years.
