Agreed. The first one felt like a bunch of random clips put together. The second one had a better flow to it (slower footage in parts), b roll, a story etc.
👉🏻 IDEA 💡 on the next one keep it the same but at the end have them switch to show what the PRO can do with the PRO camera and the beginner with the iPhone 😮
Man I love this kinda content. It's so educational, entertaining, and fun to watch. Thanks for producing it! Missed Jake too! Would love to see the editing part too, but I know that's quite time consuming to show.
Love Love Love that this is back, and with Jake. This series really lets you know its really not just about the gear. and Jake you did that with an iphone 🤯. SHoutouts to Ammon and Brady 👏🏾
Jack's edit hits you from the beginning and the fast and indecipherable inserts keep you glued: you can feel the rhythm well. Great finesse the pedestrian of the traffic light. The beginner's work is not to be despised, but I would have finished the video with a more powerful sequence. Happy you are back
Editing, vision, colour grading, message of the video is everything, visuals nowadays can be easily tricked. Great job both! Experience makes a huge difference.
Jake is better but hey. The beginner is also great. The shots are a bit shaky and it doesn't seem colour graded much but it tells me that it's a shoe ad so yeah good job. I mean the iPhone 15 pro is an amazing camera and really it isn't extremely far behind the fx6 and the flow 2 pro allows for great stability so that's one advance their. As always love ur vids :)
@@Irzaki333 Ya like not even a close comparison to be honest. You can get good results with an iPhone but at the end of the day it can't compete with a full frame sensor, way higher bit rate and color information and internal NDs and I mean those are just a few things, but the list goes on. iPhone has it beat on portability and that's it.
The biggest advice we can take from this video is to open your mouth when you speak! This will help people around you understand you much better!!! And yes, shooting video now on a good phone with a stabilizer is super easy and the results are very cool! Good job Insta360, Good job!👏
I find it interesting that i noticed how the editing matters. I meant this video and not the ad. The previous beginner vs pro had more commentary and it’s more informative about why choices are made. Which answers the target viewers, we want to know Why professionals are better even with worse gear. The presentation of the process is more comparative in the previous video, this video we get to see each of them and their flow but not much of the comparison. The previous video is more fast paced, 3 minutes in and they are already done filming while this one took 7 minutes. But I understand there isnt much footage to work with. I’m not saying this video is bad, I actually find it very cinematically pleasing. I’m just saying thank you. I learned why the previous video gained popularity
I absolutely LOVE these videos because it takes us away from the camera, the lighting, everything! It reminds us theres more to it than your gear. This one showed me framing is...everything. While Ammons was good for a beginner, his framing was bad to me. I also feel like he had nothing to go off of. No reference shots, no vision, nothing. He just "winged it". And not gonna lie, for winging it? Its not too bad. I feel like Ammons was a pretty decent social media ad, while Jakes was a full on televised commercial for a super top brand. Jakes edit was sick...but the framing told a story. Ammons was just sorta random shots. The one that killed me was him coming down the stairs. He had PERFECT scenery for leading lines and had him left of frame. Should have used his guides in his larger monitor to center up those stairs. My attention wasnt on the talent. He also needs to work on his hand held work a bit too, it was defintely shakey a bit. Not in a bad way, its a look! But not the look for a shoot like this. This needs to be butter, this needs to be smooth, sleek, sexy, its fashion. Not an action film. Hes not a spy on the run...hes a man of class with some drip on showing off how sexy he is in those shoes.
this is crzy man!!!!! you got mt heads blown' i didnt expect it to be do dam good, you are a living legande, its give me a desire to go buy an iphone and this gimble right now, unless i was broke lol
Jakes footage and edit was smoking! Well done. Unfortunately Ammons footage was too fast and blurry (motion) so didnt capture the benefits of the gear. It definately teaches us about crafting the end result you have in mind prior to the shoot so you can just execute and not have to make it up on the go. With all respect, once Ammon gets used to the camera gear his results would naturally improve.
if you comparing , and using the same model lets discuss those things : from model perspective - how easy was to understand what he was asked to do , shot composition , how was work with camera for each contestant and finally editing . In the first variant there is no editing - just random shots with no meaning. In second good voiceover and transitions made it great . Let`s say you are paid to do this advertisement. What are typical market price for that and what is renting cost of each equipment in your area?
I wonder what the pro could come up with if he was given the beginners footage to edit! Maybe a pro vs beginner video with a twist of editing the others footage
I tried to film with a smartphone and it is becoming very popular in my country and they call themselves mobilographers ( kinda weird tho😁) but could not take it seriously and recently purchased a6700 with a sigma 18-50 f2.8 and man there is so much room to grow with a proper camera. You don't go wrong with a6700 with its 10 bit 4:2:2.
WTF man, definitely the PRO with iPhone wins. PROS are
- StoryTelling.
- Color Grading + Editing.
Agreed. The first one felt like a bunch of random clips put together. The second one had a better flow to it (slower footage in parts), b roll, a story etc.
WE’RE BACK
This comment should be pinned
That means there will be content more regularly?
Yay
So happy to see Your Back🔥
Man I missed these!
Beginner vs Pro is back!!!!!!!!
It's called Flow 2 Pro for a reason 💪 That low shot is so easy and so sick! Can't do that with any other gimbal.
Nice… Might need to pick one up for my channel .
Hohem M7 beats it
You literally can. If a gimbal Can't do the then either you have a massive rig or the gimbal is broken.
SO BACK! Love it!!! Keep em coming!
Thanks for the love ❤
Also, Ammon you're the man! Loved seeing you crush it in this video.
just love that this is back
👉🏻 IDEA 💡 on the next one keep it the same but at the end have them switch to show what the PRO can do with the PRO camera and the beginner with the iPhone 😮
Not a bad idea…
@ plus it would probably buy some more watch time 😉
@@GlenReed but does the advertiser need such a move?
@ nope, but I’d still like go watch
Love this kind of content.

My favorite series with da best aka Jake Weisler is back!!!!!

The detailed shots make a huge difference! And the storytelling 😮💨
Editing, vision, colour grading, message of the video is everything, visuals nowadays can be easily tricked. Great job both! Experience makes a huge difference.
Brady just popping in random multiverses in crazy i get scared every time..... love the work brady and jake!!
Yes!! Welcome back Jake
Thank you!
Jake I need that color grade!!!! Absolutely beautiful!!! You both killed it
Story telling make huge difference in video. Rather than useing music
WOW JAKE! 🥵 Also, would love to see a pro editor edit Ammon’s footage.
Jake is better but hey. The beginner is also great. The shots are a bit shaky and it doesn't seem colour graded much but it tells me that it's a shoe ad so yeah good job.

Saying the iPhone isn’t extremely far behind fx6 is crazyyyyyyyyy

Wow. Confirmed why I always thought Jake was always the coolest. Grsat to see him back!
Jake 🔥
This is really nice.. always so inspiring to watch these videos! 😊
Beginner has a lot of potential and is the perfect example of the difference in experience
No comment for this, I love seeing Jake weisler Back, Thanks London BTW for bringing him by
I really love this!! Keep it up!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can we get a BTS of Jake’s color grade process with the iPhone Footage ?

Experience. Jake good to see you back.
Where do you get the transition in Jake’s video? The fast paced “blur”?
Jake killed it ❤
Ammon is Good and effort he did is great. However, the pro is better editor and person who is using the camera. Loved it thanks you...
Daing the edit though! 🔥🔥🔥
Pro definitely won, the voice over, color grading and editing 🔥
This is the video why I'm still subscribed to the channel
We’ve got Jake AND Brady!! Heck yeah
Jakes edit just blew my mind😮
great content! cool video.
I’ll take the IPhone 15 edit…that is so creative..love that 🤗🎊
Amazing video! But it would be cool to see like a 5 film students vs 1 Pro! Content suggestion in the future! Great job

Wasn't expecting Brady to be a guest on this video but then remembered he is based out of Utah!
Let’s go🔥🔥
We. Are. So. Back!
Jake takes it but that’s the benefit of experience. Ammon you kicked ass!!
🔥🔥🔥
Jack is amazing. Top 10/10.
So good! Please show us the editing part. 😊
Can anyone let me know whats that one transition is called that is used in Jake’s edited video. The time line is 8:35 and it is used for 3-4 times …
Wipe transitions by interfadefx
For real…this gave me goosebumps 😢
Obviously your edition turned out better friend hehehe that gives it an incredible plus. The young man is not bad.
Great watch 👏🏼
Jake is Awesome
The story telling beats any gear!!!
please make videos like like this it helps a lot🥰🥰🥰🥰
It’s like having someone walk in front of you at a wedding to get the clip. With their cell phone.
Review of the Canon EOS R1?
i loved it i learn a lot
Post processing certainly is an very important factor.
this is crzy man!!!!!
you got mt heads blown' i didnt expect it to be do dam good, you are a living legande, its give me a desire to go buy an iphone and this gimble right now, unless i was broke lol
Now swap so we can see how much the gear actually matters please 😃
Haha you bullied that poor guy w that iPhone video. 🔥 so good
beginner vs pro editor would be the apt title !!!
Jake won for sure!👏👏 no hate to the other guy lol. 😅
Insta 360 flow 2 pro 🏆 with all the automated features
Can we get a pro with pro gear and beginner with beginner gear next? Also that talent is incredibly handsome
My favorite edit is the last one.
I kinda liked the first one. It was easier on the eyes due to the higher dynamic range. But the composition was better on the second one
That VO though....dang....
Already watched it yesterday haha
Nice beginner vs pro
Wow... iPhones have reached such a high level now. I completely forgot he shot on a phone right after watching him do it.
Let’s go!!!!
Jake GET OUT !!!, You're too Good !!!!
Honestly i watch only these videos. Love to have 2/3 crew back!
Jakeeeeee🎉

My Jake o my God
Im gona say it again... It nots the gear thats matter only. The edit and story telling if the thing that makes you go from beginner to pro
Pro vs amateur ❤
We're so back
God damn I love the iPhone shoot 10/10
Jake grew up!
I vote for Jake 🎉
Pro is kicking asses in his Tafts
I wonder what the pro could come up with if he was given the beginners footage to edit!
Maybe a pro vs beginner video with a twist of editing the others footage
Well dang Jake you didn’t have to do him like that 😄
Jesse Bassett video the $10,000 camera also just to compare the difference in quality of a beginner versus expert.
Beginning Vs. Pro back again!!
This is hard

I am looking to getting into filmmaking so should I buy a iphone or a real camera for 2000 dollar complete setup, like a6700 with sigma 18-50mm f2.8
I tried to film with a smartphone and it is becoming very popular in my country and they call themselves mobilographers ( kinda weird tho😁) but could not take it seriously and recently purchased a6700 with a sigma 18-50 f2.8 and man there is so much room to grow with a proper camera.
