- The DSG 7.02 accumulator replacement kit allows to perform the high-quality repair of the DSG7 (the kit is compatible with all DSG 7 gearbox models) Valve Body and to solve the problem of the pressure leakage (“P17BF error code”), occurring due to cracks or housing deterioration in the place where the hydraulic accumulator is fixed to the housing of the Valve Body.
*The wrench is ordered separately.
*OEM bolts are used to fix the adapter.

*for some engine types the works can be performed without dismounting the transmission;

While disassembling please keep in mind that the system can be under high pressure!
I have done another 200Kms. I started off going through the gears not pushing them but making sure I did 3500rpm in each lower gear. I have just given the old girl a good run on motorway. Pushed her hard through the gears, take off and shift down. All works well so far. NO error codes and gear changing is smooth.
I have just finished installing this today and I am not a mercanic, but pretty handy New Zealander. It took me a whole day to do in my tiny garage. I left the gearbox in place and just removed the cover. Replace Accumulator, reinstalled the cover in place Add 1 litre of fluid through the breather. No more error codes. There is a little more to it but not much. I will update this in a weeks time as I have only done 40Km since the repair.

Hi mate do you need to de-pressurise the accumulator before you remove it?
How to release the pressure inside the pressure accumulator if an attempt to replace is made while the gearbox is still attached on the car? Is draining the oil and disconnecting the battery enough to safely open the gearbox oil pan and unscrew the pressure accumulator?

What about the pressurised accumulator? How can i safely remove it without the fear of an explosion? I am waiting for your kit to fit it to my car and i want to follow all the safsty steps

My Škoda advisor has also diagnosed the same issue and is replacing the accumulator in my ‘17 Octavia 1.8 TSI DSG (DQ200). I wanted to know if this is a permanent fix or a temporary one?
How long does the DSG/ mechatronic last after this fix?
Official warranty that we give to our kits is 1 year but according to our experience this problem will not come back even 3 and more years later. Only don't forget that our kit fixes the problem of the pressure leakage because of cracked accumulator housing. This is the most common but not the only problem in this mechatronic

I recently got this p17bf error but the car was running fine.....got the car scanned erased the error its still running fine and the error never came back!!! Can it be because of mechatronic overheating ?? Can the pump protection kick if it over heats?? And do you guys also sell pump ic motor for this mechatronic as i would like buy it with this kit in the future!!!

There is high pressure on almost the whole surface between adapter and original valve body. Compared to OEM design, you apply now this load to the three screws. Have you calculated the three screws? Which torque do you recommend (screws, accumulator)?

I did this and when i took it for a test drive i got fault code 02113 and it shifts like shit
I got the p177f code along with the p17bf.. would this fix both codes?

O meu aconteceu isso, vai ter que passar por este processo
I have a DQ200 DSG SKODA 2016. Only code came up is P17BF00. Mechanic is sorting out the mectronic but now saying the TCM is gone to. I have no symptoms and it drives and changes gears perfectly. Only problem it lights up and says gearbox error once a day if that.
What do you think? As now it’s costing me £1400 as originally was £800.

@@yassinebi337Yes it was the Mechatronic. Make sure you take it to a real specialist as I had it refurbed and 2 months later light come on again. So he now refurbed again along with a new clutch.
@@Jason-hz5zc can you tell me how much did it cost you to replace it?
@@yassinebi337 £1500 as mines needed the TCM. Just the mechatronic refurb is about £850. New will cost around 2k.

HI KINERGO TECH...What programming procedures should be followed before removing mechatronic unit for this kit installation and what procedure should be followed after unit is reinstalled to gearbox?? Can you give a step by step info please....thanks in advance
No programming procedures are needed. Neither before dismantling, nor after. Only mechanic work to replace the accumulator. After replacing the hydraulic accumulator in the system, the working pressure is restored and the system immediately starts to operate normally.
