Charlie, after being so incredibly let down after dozens and dozens of videos where I had to watch you stoic-ly trounce through horror games that would have had me begging for the sweet release of death before I had to take another step into the fucking dark..... I can safely say, I feel a bit of true relief, of a decade of tension, to see you afraid to touch a wad of pipe cleaners in a box.

God I loved the What's in the Box video. Charlie's reactions were literally beyond sanity.
The human senses are actually really poor especially when they are used in isolation. Touch without sight means you literally have no idea what you're touching, taste without smell, you can't even understand what you're eating.
I only recently learned humans can't tell the difference between wet and dry, we're just guessing based on temperature

I went to a haunted house that was so dark you literally couldnt tell how far the darkness went. Looking in the doorway i couldnt tell if it was a dark hallway or if it was a wall in front of me. Like pitch black. And they filled the halls with stuff so you had to navigate with your hands to figure out where to go and you often touched weird stuff and man never has fake moss and dollarstore plastic hands been so scary and awful to touch. Touching without your other senses is such a weird experience man. It's the anticipation of it being the worst thing you can imagine.

I think this shows how wild Charlie’s imagination is. Instead of guessing the most likely mundane stuff it gives him the grossest most insane guesses eg. a dead bird or a testicle.
It’s probably why he has a lot of anxiety when flying. Like despite the safety stats, his brain is constantly imagining the most extreme yet unlikely scenarios of things that can go wrong mid flight.
A lot of very smart and funny people, especially comedians usually have a lot of anxiety and phobias because their imaginations are much more active than the average person.
Yooo you guys taking some inspiration from Gali No Tsukai is genius. Their yearly no laughing games are amazing, but even doing something like the Absolutely Tasty series or the Taste Test guessing game would be hilarious.

Gaki No Tsukai No Laughing Batsu is legit the funniest shit I have ever watched. I've nearly laughed myself to unconsciousness a few times. The Hamada monkey gag, Tanaka Thai Kick, etc always send me.
The Batsu he is talking about the pies is called "Pie Hell" the one who was getting hit with the pies name is "Matsumoto, Hitoshi" (My fav one out the Duo group "DownTown" with Masatoshi, Hamada.) They do Batsu games with one other Duo group called "Cocorico" (Naoki, Tanaka and Shōzō Endō.) and a solo by the name as of present "Hōsei Tsukitei" formerly known as "Yamazaki". With these people make the show "Gaki no Tsukai ya Arahende". Plz look up their work. They have brought me so much laughter through times of pain. I will forever love what they have done for me, and try to get people to watch their work.
