      @@Maladjester There is a big difference between making a general statement about people online, versus physically accosting someone in person who has no choice about their condition. A bully would go up to an actual weak person suffering from malnourishment or some disability and physically and emotionally abuse them. Tate makes general statements online about people being weak and stupid. He is not wrong. Many people are weak and stupid in their own way, but by personal choice, not by something outside of their control.
      Also, there is a huge difference between using physical size and threat to extort a child's lunch money vs. offering a service where both parties agree to the transaction.

I love for reading and observing the world around me as objectively and detached from my personal views as possible has helped me immensely. Instead of subscribing to Andrew Tate, I'd recommend a reading of " Meditations ", the personal writings of Marcus Aurelius. Be close minded to a degree, some people like my brother are so open minded to everything he sees on the internet that he becomes these people until i correct it out of him, he's 17 and literally has a new phase or ideology every week that he regurgitates from someone he sees online. you gotta realize, most redditors, commenters etc. are lonely people who lack attention and conversation with real other people, so they go online to voice their opinions. The cause for them to go online to do this to begin with is because they're probably not very cool people to talk to or likable.

      So real, I was walking out of school with my friend and this guy approached her and started walking with us, im telling you this poor guy looked so uncomfortable trying to sound so masculine, you could immediately tell he watches andrew tate. His walking style was different and awkward and his voice came out weird because you could tell he was trying to appear different from how he actually is. The worst part was him talking about how he wants idk what type of car by the end of next year (like relax we just finished highschool, we're literally in our first semester in our first year😂). He was like trying to impress my friend with his unrealistic goals and it was soo weird that i started dragging myself behind so i didn't have to hear the cringe stuff coming out his mouth😬 yikes. At first i was just really annoyed by him but after he left and it was just me and my friend i started feeling really bad for him. Tate has made young men think his idea of masculinity is the only right way to go and they believe him so much that theyre trying so hard to emulate him but some just end up being cringe and uncomfortable. Its sad cause he literally looked more uncomfortable with the way he was acting than we did for witnessing it. I almost wanted to go up to him later and ask him to not try so hard 😢 and just relax and not put so much pressure on himself. Like you could be determined to make money and get thise goals you want but sheesh the way he was acting was just not it. I can only imagine how much internal stress and pressure he has😢

    "You don't have to pay $50 per month to have friends. If you want to, just join a frat." HAD ME FLOORED! (Because it's true.)

    To the Tate fans here, I promise you nobody is criticizing you because they're jealous. If they wanted to be you, they could very easily lol. When people say you're in a cult, it's not just some meaningless insult, they're saying you genuinely are in a cult. The #1 tactic of cults is to make their members believe reality is subjective, and that the leader's beliefs are the ones that should be accepted. The purpose of this is clear; if a member thinks reality is subjective they will never be able to have a tangible reason not to blindly accept what they're told to believe. Tate openly admits he wants you to think reality is subjective and he very clearly wants you to accept his worldview without question. You don't have to change your beliefs, but don't get brainwashed in the process.

    Im not the most social person, in fact, i have been a hermit before..and not too terribly long ago. literally years of no outside contact other than work and occasionally only texting family. I didnt even bother to comment on posts or videos on any platform. The astonishing thing was, despite being alone, i had found a plethora of things to do on your own that didnt necessarily require another person to enjoy. And those hobbies i had picked up made for some interesting conversation when i finally decided to release myself into the world again. Much like Charlie said, i had discovered many people also enjoyed the same things and made friends with them, after not having any for so long. And if youre looking for love, or money, all you need to do is apply who you aspire to be, not some celebrity that already exists, but you, in your ultimate form. Point is, sometimes some alone time is good. At first, being that humans are typically social creatures, it's gonna suck. But in those years, i had learned so much about myself and what im not willing to compromise about myself. those two things can give you more confidence than any discord server. know who you are and who you are and who you aren't. don't even have to be an alpha or a male for that to resonate.

    The real lessons to learn are:
    - Stop wishing for a "magic bullet". There is no "one trick" to going from zero to hero.
    - Get a job. The best source of income is a steady job.
    - Take care fo your physical and mental health.
    - Go outside and do physical activities. Go running, go to the gym, go hiking.
    - Go and perform social activities. Join a class for something, do something that forces you to interact with others.
    - Get off social media. Social media ruins your perception of what is "average" by constantly exposing you to above-average things.

I only say this because when I was younger I'd say I want to be a housewife and although I still consider being a stay at home mom important to me, I've realized that part of that goal needed to shift and wish someone told me that when I was younger. I hope you first secure a way for you to make money on your own and get a little bit of work experience (ideally with a way to keep yourself up to date in the field). This is just so that if anything goes terribly wrong (husband turns abusive once you're trapped, you're widowed, etc) you'll still be able to take care of yourself. Along with unavoidable tragedy, it's a sad truth that some men can change on a dime. If you've never experienced one like that before, it can be hard to see the signs, especially when they aren't outright abusive but merely neglectful. I always thought that it wouldn't happen to me because my boyfriend was so wonderful, until I finally gave up on making him care about me after wasting four years with him. It was only after my will to keep trying broke that I realized all my anguish had been avoidable and caused by his lack of effort and care for me, and my current partner has acted in ways that prove men can be better. Some people can see the signs of neglect from the start in the same way that I see abusers from the start, but it can be hard to know where your abilities are without experiencing it, and a rare few of these guys are simply able to hide it all until you're stuck. I also have a friend who didn't realize she was dating someone abusive for quite some time despite being warned early on, so the vision varies a lot by the individual.
      There's absolutely nothing wrong with enjoying housework and wanting to take care of your loved ones in that way, but you can care for others best when you're cared for yourself. Having a way out via career experience ensures that your expression of love and care will always be a gift for you to voluntarily give to those who deserve it. Best of luck, and I hope you grow up well!

    • @Random-sk6hm

      @@patricksweet4104 The jail part is a classic example of it. As OP mentions, you use degradation then convince your subject that it's everyone else that thinks the horrible thing - and the abuser is actually looking out for them. It creates a dependency based relationship and allows the subject to overlook and ignore the behaviour, thus further reinforcing the abuser's behaviour which inevitably becomes more extreme over time. It's a mechanism of systematic desensitisation and asymmetrical dependancy between the 2 parties. It's typically found in abusive relationships. It's often used in cults too, which Tate employs very effectively to solidify his fanbase for his ultimate aim of siphoning money out of them through 'Hustlers University' at $50 per month.

      Well said, very poetic. I used to believe these internet gurus a couple years ago cause I was just starting high school and wanted to be more successful than everyone else, and I had never seen these gurus before. I believed every ad I saw from these guys and I would always sit through the free courses just to realize they never said anything worthwhile. Obviously I eventually figured out that they were all fake, but I still saw other people at my high school falling into the same trap. They’d be so excited about “starting a drop shipping store” or whatever they were doing to get out of the matrix and I always just found it funny. As I’ve grown since then, I’ve realized that success comes in the form of friends and family. I’m extremely privileged to have a family that I love and plenty of friends whom I love as well, and in that way I think I’m very successful. All I want in life is to continue having memorable experiences with the people I love and to work in a field where I feel like I’m producing something meaningful for the world.

    "sprinkling little truths that everyone agrees with" makes the (sheepish) audience create a sort of "trust" ("if what he/she says is true then the rest must also be true as well" kind of way) and then they eat up everything that speaker says like cupcakes.
    am *SO* glad (and relieved) that other people see through that kind BS.

    • @ryanscott6578
      @ryanscott6578 2 года назад +6

      the problem with trying to convince Tate's audience comes when his detractors actually attack the little sprinkles of truth though, which happens a lot. For instance, saying he's a woman beater or a human trafficker when he and the woman involved have come out and said it was a sex play, and when there are no convictions and we're ideally supposed to believe in innocent till proven guilty. Or when people fail to have compassion for young men's issues and valid concerns about the modern dating market, etc. There are no role models for lost men to turn to, so it's no wonder they're flocking to Tate.

    • @nnnnnAZ09
      @nnnnnAZ09 2 года назад +1

      @@ryanscott6578 it is not that there aren't any role models for lost men, but that after the "me-too" movement there is an ever-increasing tendency to feminize (literally) everything and create an aggressively hostile environment for all things masculine, leaving little to no "breathing space" for lost men to find/discover their own place in this world, pushing them to seek (or to take into account) ever more extreme "guidance" than they would have chosen otherwise. I feel that people like Tate and their fake "ultra masculinity" could never have risen to such popularity a couple of decades back.

    • @ryanscott6578
      @ryanscott6578 2 года назад +4

      @@nnnnnAZ09 I agree 100%. That's a better diagnosis of the situation, I think. The draw towards ultra masculinity is part of an overcorrection against a culture that pushes feminine ideals like comfort, inclusion, and safety rather than masculine ideals like assertiveness, competition, dominance, risk-taking, etc.

    • @nnnnnAZ09
      @nnnnnAZ09 2 года назад +10

      @@ryanscott6578 even though "comfort, inclusion, and safety" have been overused and oversold in most commercialized (primarily western) societies, they are not feminine ideals but rather universal. so are "assertiveness, competition, dominance, risk-taking". And the reason I'm clarifying this is that I'm sick and tired of the tendency to see anything masculine as some sort of primate that would rather fight one another to death and consequently needs to be tamed than learn to be a functional part of a greater society.
      One of the biggest sources of issues (in western societies) for males is the misconception that masculinity is something rigid that has not evolved since the age of cavemen, which prohibits them from experiencing a normal emotional/intellectual life (and suffer because of that lack), all in the fear of appearing "weak" to their peers.

    • @ryanscott6578
      @ryanscott6578 2 года назад

      @@nnnnnAZ09 I'd argue that comfort, inclusion and safety are feminine ideals by nature. Adventure, risk-taking, competitiveness and hierarchy - among other masculine traits, like physicality, building status, assertiveness, etc, are baked into evolutionary psychology. We were hunters after all. The western fixation with comfort, inclusivity, and safety is an agenda largely coming from women.
      I don't agree with what you say about masculinity being seen as a rigid, fight to the death kind of thing. We evolved in tribes where the most successful tribes were co-operative and reciprocal. The tyrannical men would eventually get taken out by men who were better adapted to reciprocity, protecting, and providing for women and children. Some men do have a very myopic and unsophisticated understanding of masculinity but the archetype of the learned scholar is a respected one.
