    In Japan, in order to use the bullet trains, you have to buy a ticket, especially if he got reserved seats. With that ticket, you have to run it via and automatic ticket reader. There are security cameras everywhere at train stations and there are multiple officers around the ticket gate. I can't imagine this man had the actual guts to evade all of this.

    • @BlackDragonNico
      @BlackDragonNico Год назад +227

      You can buy a ticket that allows you to enter the bullet train tracks for a short time (did use it once to say goodbye to a friend, but I guess it's also for train spotters, etc.), iirc it was around 1000¥. I'd bet that he just bought one of those tickets to avoid trouble before sneaking on the train.

      @@BlackDragonNico That's assuming if we think he's smart enough to know that...but yes, there are two different tickets you need to have (receipt + actual train ticket). Sure, you probably won’t make friends or anything, but it’s far from hostile to tourism as of now. As long as you don’t act flagrantly foreign and don’t disrespect anything, you usually won’t run into any problems, even in the smaller towns in the countryside.
      The only way I can see it being ‘hostile’ is if you consider sometimes being ignored for being clearly foreign as unfriendly, but IMO that’s far less hostile then the supposedly ‘great for tourists!’ places full of con artists and pickpockets; like most of Europe.

He ended up making a lot of Japanese friends because he was actually respectful and interested in their culture. Now I’m hoping to move there someday and my sister is moving there in 2 years since it’s where her husband is getting stationed, and my dad drills into us that respect is above all else there. The only reason for people above the age of 40 to even know of his existence should be their kids, if they are gullible enough to like his videos. How he managed to get 19% of votes is beyond me. I understand that people in Cyprus are tired of the same political parties that have lost the peoples faith, but the situation in mainland Greece should be similar and yet nobody votes for complete clowns like him. Sure, there are conspiracy theorists and incompetent corrupt assholes that get lots of votes, but youtube pranksters? Who tf beyond the age of 12 takes this guy seriously? 71 thousand adults apparently voted for him to reprsent them in the EU parliament. One of them is NightScape who is a really great youtuber. He used to do videos where he'd break into skyscrapers and climb to the top, and now he's mostly doing travel challenge content (riding an electric skateboard across Ireland, riding a scooter from London to the African continent, hitchhiking across the ocean, crossing Europe for free, etc). He's no stranger to committing petty crimes, and his videos are pretty damn uplifting.

    1:52 - Back in the late 19th century, this was known as "slumming."
    Wealthy Victorians would explore poor areas out of morbid curiosity.

    The saddest part about Fiddias is that he was originally a prize winner for a Lamborghini in a Mr. Beast and now is trying to desperately become the next Mr beast.

      Women are the physical manifestation of sensory perception. And in the same sense that when your senses are overloaded in any particular way (whether they’re overloaded with pleasure or overloaded with pain), if your senses keep receiving that same stimulus over and over, you are not going to have as strong of a reaction to that same stimulus..

      This fidias is a clown lmao. He will be the next controversial youtuber I can bet. He's trying to be a mr beast. Everyone is nowadays. He made that Elon musk video too which was stupid. Why?? Why hugging him striking for days? Get a real job maybe. Or if this is what you do then do atleast something actually fun or good for yourself and audience.

      Just wanted to leave a real reply thanking your for providing context, I felt like I recognized his voice (never seen his videos before) but couldn't place it. Really sad to see, reminds me of the statistic that most lottery winners end up broke and destitute. Guess he just let it get to his head. Super irritating seeing him pulling this stuff in Japan when the people are the polar opposite of that.

    I was in Japan not too long ago on vacation. It's an amazing place with wonderful people. If you're polite and respectful, even just knowing a little bit of both the Japanese language and culture to show that you cared enough to learn the basics makes a wonderful impression. People like this and johnny somali that abuse that kindness and their fans that encourage it are abhorrent.
