The phrase "Clout is a helluva drug" couldn't be more true today.
3:16 that was a really serious face, must have been one hell of a crime
The second-hand embarrassment here is actually painful, not even Charlie could have salvaged this.
My mothers teacher in botany went to Africa after attempting to create a hardy kind of grain seed that required less nutrients and water, however due to the cost of making the seeds the project never really took off, but the guy never once advertised it. The whole idea was out of his pocket in an attempt to find a way to help the citizens long term
Yeah the train tickets are something he definitely had to have paid for, theres so many gates he'd need to get through that you'd need tickets to bypass, you cant just walk around them
Exactly, and EVERY gate has a person or two looking exactly at the gate. There is no way around it, you have to pay.

RUclips allowing these channels to exist is part of the problem as well. Insane
I just said this too theyre actually promoting people to come to their platform and post criminal activity bc those videos go viral and viral means views for the platform the heads dont care how they get it just as long as they do despite the consequences bc THEY dont actually discipline anyone they leave it up to the public
Idk how to tell you this but this is a whole genre of content. It's not as obnoxious and stuff tho but look up Sheiy or something who does train surfing and stuff in bosnia it's actually really cool to watch. I think the difference is with Sheiy it's a lot more victimless and so much less obnoxious.
as a japanese person, i'm like pretty sure (although i havent watched the actual video) the people who gave the guy money was because they were scared of them. in japan, foreigners are either admired, or scared of, so i wouldnt even be surprised if that was the case
Been living in Japan for 8 years, and I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if most people would just be terrified of him. Japanese people for are the most part sooooooo chill, that seeing these idiots flooding the country with the intention of harassing and breaking the law, just makes my blood boil. And it makes foreigners who have a life here look bad too.
maybe he just paid them and asked to give him the money in front of the cam
@@thehairywookie-x5peven foreigners hate other foreigners in japan
I'm assuming it's due to wanting to avoid conflict, and many foreigners are loud and confrontational compared to what most Japanese people are used to?

How to actually cross the country for free: *walk*
But of course, this isn’t clickbaity enough
The amount of people treating Japan as some sort of comedy set is infuriating to me. I hope to visit someday, but I wouldn’t blame them if they just up and closed their borders again
Major overreaction, tourism is about 2% of Japan's entire GDP. They're not throwing away a $85 billion dollar industry over some RUclipsrs.
Too hyperbolic jokes dude, chill.. R e L a ×
I've been to Tokyo and loved it. But one of the reasons was the ambient silliness. Like everyone stopping at pedestrian crossing lights at night while there is no cars around.
Being arrested over 50 cents, if that's not comedy I don't know what is. Yeah japan loves procedures, I like to respect that but it's also funny when it goes this far.
Commodore Perry round two then
Stoping at red lights at a crosing is a law in any country except murica
In Germany if you are in the restroom at a ticket inspection and don't come out for a while, they just open the door from the outside with a key.

Regardless of your moral compass, we can all strive to not end up in Charlie's People He Doesn't Like Corner.
Women are the physical manifestation of sensory perception. And in the same sense that when your senses are overloaded in any particular way (whether they’re overloaded with pleasure or overloaded with pain), if your senses keep receiving that same stimulus over and over, you are not going to have as strong of a reaction to that same stimulus
Hey Jules, just realized that your channel name is a dick joke.
Stay off Charlie's "people he doesnt like" list challenge. Somehow impossible for some people.

Tf are these replies? I thought it was just bots trying to be offensive to get attention, are they just automatically responding to eachother?
Yeah!
"I say this as only 10% of the population has access to the internet"
What? I dont think this guy knows how percentages work or even math for that matter.
If you want to travel for free, go hitchhiking. I hitchhiked my way all the way across Germany. It was a fun experience meeting a lot of people from different walks of life, all of them were very kind. I even had to decline money from one of the people I hitched a ride with. But I didn't film anything, I did it for the experience.
glad you had a safe and pleasant experience!
Yeah this really depends on who you are and where you are. You do that in America you got a solid 15% chance of getting ya booty took by a truck driver.
Do *NOT* do this in America. There's way too high of a risk you'll end up an assault/murder statistic.
@@ember-brandtthe same people in this video literally did hitchhike across America in the previous episode lmao
If the punishment for refusing to pay is worse then that face Charlie made then he is in real trouble.
As someone who moved to Japan, people like this make me very happy to have left. It makes me want to get off social media. It also makes it terrible for us foreign residents who have to suffer from reactionary laws created by in response to these douchebags.

From domestic tourists, yes, yes they do. From dirty gaijins? Not really. If you're polite and respectful, even just knowing a little bit of both the Japanese language and culture to show that you cared enough to learn the basics makes a wonderful impression. People like this and johnny somali that abuse that kindness and their fans that encourage it are abhorrent.
