It's called toilet shooting (i think). when you're far away from the toilet, it forgets to take the water tank out of the inventory but it brings the toilet completion number up by one.
they map every quick time event key (Q,E,F,C,X,Z) to one button on a controller (through steam big picture mode) it's not cheating since it's a feature through steam
