For anyone who cares and doesn't already know, "entrapment" is not "setting a trap". Entrapment is when law enforcement pushes someone to agree to do something they wouldn't have done on their own. It's targeting a person who isn't committing a crime and putting pressure on them until they do commit a crime, and then charging them for that crime. Saying, "Hey, wanna do this thing?" and them saying, "Yeah, that sounds great!" isn't entrapment, because there was no pressure to make anyone act outside their normal character.

Entrapment also usually doesn't, y'know, include signing a contract that you're willingly agreeing to do exactly what the purpose of the "trap" is.
I mean... I honestly don't even know if textbook entrapment could actually be considered entrapment if the person literally signs a contract beforehand saying "yeah, I'm going to go commit a crime and then be arrested for it lul". ...and literally basically nothing else.

The example he gives is of a federal agent pretending to sell a gun to an anarchist. It is absolutely not entrapment for the police to create a sting operation for you to perform an illegal operation. The thing that makes it entrapment is if you didn't have the propensity to do it beforehand.

Entrapment occurs when law enforcement or someone working with law enforcement gets someone to commit a crime that they wouldn't have commit with out being persuaded by or tricked by law enforcement. For example, an officer coming up to you and asking to buy drugs wouldn't be entrapment unless they pressured you in some way.
In this case all coffee did was ask Dillon to promote this crypto. Dillon didn't hesitate or need some kind of extra convincing. Hell, he didn't even read the contract they gave him to sign before agreeing. The fact that he has done this exact same thing before also wouldn't help his case.

Weird story time: I had a job I'm pretty sure was at least shady once. I lived in San Francisco and got the job on craigslist. The Game Development Conference (GDC) was in town and this... company? random dude? in LA wanted me to remotely offer investment opportunities on his/their behalf. I can't remember the company name but it was generic enough to be fake. He hired on the spot with one phone call, to go to the whole conference weekend, for $14/hr on the honor system (however long i went each day), and just collect business cards of the highest reps I can of "medium to large" companies. So like, not Oculus or Epic Games, but not indie devs either. I just walked around and asked various reps basically "i represent an organization looking to invest in up and coming companies to the tune of a few million, what's the highest ranking business card you can give me?" So I was looking for companies who might need a couple mil and can pay it back and how the shit do i know so i just get as many cards as i can. The rest of the time i checked out GDC, cuz fuck yeah free floor pass.
I got well over the requested average of business cards, way over quota if you count lower sales reps who were repping ppl who couldn't make it. I sent them off to the address I'd been given, which was a Care Of address. Over a couple weeks I heard nothing. I heard nothing until i had moved to another state, and that envelope full of business cards showed up having been returned to my CA address, where i no longer lived, and forwarded. Because the address i was given to send the cards to was fake.
I never got paid ofc. The guy i talked to sounded like the epitome of a man on a lot of cocaine trying to make an empty office sound busy. He talked a mile a minute and would never shut up. A check-in phone call took 20+ min. I badly needed a job at the time so i gave benefit of the doubt. I didn't make rent and had to move across the country to work at a gas station for a year, but hey i went to GDC for free right? (I didn't really have time to do anything cool, the highlight by far was meeting the Amanita Design team who I love and chatting a little).
So yeah idk wtf that was, tl;dr some scammy cokehead used me as a proxy in an unstable, untenable, and/or illegal operation that amounted to nothing. My theory is they were arrested before my envelope of business cards got there, or they were foreclosed. It wasn't even a direct address, it was c/o some random name.

This is entrapment in the same way that leaving an unoccupied, running car, at the side of the road in Harlem, and then arresting someone for stealing it, is entrapment.

Report. Kill. Just don't tag em cuz that makes it worse, they look more "real" to the staffless yt admin algorithm. I dunno why some ppl try to reply to them, it's not funny and it makes it worse. But hey i guess it's also a measure of Charlie's success. Gotta be quick draw with that report button these days tho. I've seen bots actually die, it is possible. Just gotta get enough neg reports without people helping them out by tryna talk to em. Seen it a lot. It's like replying with a tag refills their health pool, but reporting chips away at it gradually. It's like a Souls boss or something, but it's a swarm.

Coffeezilla is like those enemies in games that chase you and can't die like Nemesis from Resident Evil, the necromorphs that can regenerate from Dead Space, and Pyramid Head from Silent Hill. Except there is no way to escape or kill him and your just fucked if he gets you in his cross hair.

Entrapment for journalism and whistle-blowing means "deceptive and trust-breaking techniques ... applied to trick someone to commit a legal or moral transgression."
Pretty sure that contract was the opposite of deceptive. The entire plan was literally written in plain sight.
