Not a fan of the elephant feet, but I’m glad the quality is there.
Yeah, I think he has a better alt mode than his bot mode. I picked up one in a lot but not a fan of the design. He'll probably stay in alt mode.
yeah me too, but the whole sculpt really grew on me... it's not a perfect 100% figure though... so I might eventually purge it...
Cool looking figure but I'm sticking to the legacy seekers ( I can't wait Till legacy Cybertron skywarp and armada Thundercracker comes out!!)

yeah, I skipped on that GE Sideswipe... everyone's saying how great it is despite not looking great in the renders... maybe I'll get it if the price drops a bit more...
I was never planning on getting this guy at all but Target Australia, for some weird reason, was selling them for $10!!

This guy is on sale right now at Targets in the US but I passed. I got one on eBay in a lot with other figures but he's probably going to stay in alt mode which I think is the better mode. I found the Cybertron version and picked up a couple at a discount. Easily one of the best Starscream designs ever.

Recently picked this up and I can't help but wonder if the dual connector for the mace was originally meant to go inbetween his hands in jet mode and act as a forward facing gun but it was changed later. I kinda wish we got 2 rifles with the scope on opposing sides so he could be mounted with twin guns in vehicle mode but hopefully it just means someone else comes with it later and it can be "borrowed" haha.
Sadly he's a bit too big for my original WFC/FOC figures that work alongside the Bumblebee deluxe figures but he's gonna be my fill in for the G1 seekers since I think a more modern looking jet is better and I't not forking out for Coronation Screamer when its still up in the air if his buddies will join him, while I know they are coming for the Gamer Edition. (Hopefully to NZ as well but knowing Hasbro, they'll probably end up in the not coming pile, least I can import them if not).

yeah, I ended up selling this figure since I'm not really into the game....
The only nitpick I have with this figure, (Since i don't have one myself, might wanna get one myself) is the chest/cockpit. I mean, it's just big and might be a real eyesore. I'm not complaning, I think it's a really good figure.
yeah, looking at it, it's way to thick compared to the game renders...
Great review man, I really hope they keep this plastic standard for the rest of the gamer edition figures. Always loved the WFC designs but the crappy plastic really is having an impact on my enjoyment of these figures.

Is there any difference between the Japanese version and the other version? Looks nearly or completely identical and I know they said a while back "Takara versions won't differ any more" .... except for the times when they still do :D

@@chefatron i think you got unlucky with the copy of United Starscream you got. Untied Starscream has gotten a ton of love from its designers. Its as if the creators looked that original Cybertron Starscream and looked for any way to improve on it, and they did!
You do great reviews Chef, but you completely missed out on so much in your review of untied Starscream, I was actually shocked! Maybe let go of your SUPER high plastic quality standards and give that figure another look over. Seriously, there is so much to cybertron united Starscream (other reviews nailed), that is absolutely amazing.

I have these standards because hasbro is charging an arm and a leg for their figures... and how will they improve if we just accept whatever they throw at us...
did you watch that part in this video where I praised hasbro for doing such a wonderful job on this GE Starscream? both in quality and in engineering...
I don't complain for the sake of complaining, I give praise where praise is due...
I think it's unfair for you to call out how wrong my opinion is based on how hasbro designers praised their own product... it's my opinion man, and I'm sorry you don't feel the same way... that's just the way the world is... people have different opinions...
