I got him on sale at target. Didn't plan on getting him, but couldn't turn down a $14 deal. He's fantastic. I haven't had a Sunstreaker since the classics and I think he was worth the wait haha.

If you pinch the shoulder pads in toward the neck you will feel a "thoop", that's the correct way to stance his shoulder pads (a V shape) and it totally changes his silhouette.

This figure has a very slightly misassembled hood in alt mode - you can pop the leg panels off and twist them around to make the alt mode look significantly better with the proper fit, it's on the TFW OT for this figure

I dig the altmode! Not so much the robot mode. It works in it's own right but, i dunno if i'd call him "Sunstreaker" exactly. It's a bit too over-stylized for the character.
yeah, I felt the same at first, but the bot mode really grew on me
he could be Hot Rod if painted red...

I just wanna say that I recently watched your Studio Series Barricade review from years ago and man did you get some rather unnecessary hate for it like yes some may disagree with your opinion but that’s still no excuse for them to crap on you for an opinion they didn’t agree with, at the end of the day you like what you like and you dislike what you dislike, tastes aren’t universal. On the other hand, this BB movie concept art Sunstreaker is a nice toy I agree and I remember messing around with my friend’s copy of it when he brought it to school and I liked it, a minor gripe I have I will say is the clear plastic because I was so afraid to break it on my friend’s copy and I had to have him transform it for me. Otherwise though BB movie concept art Sunstreaker is a very nice figure especially if you cop it on sale too

@@StoriesFromTheToyshelf also, last day of toy con is fun because almost everything's marked down, but you miss out on a lot of the great deals on the first 2 days... especially on the first day. sellers have wised up and really mark down most of their stuff on the first day... so if you can come, go on the first day, even after office hours...
Saturday is still awesome, but it's the most crowded day...
