In this video, we will do a very slow, gentle, hatha style yoga for about 20 minutes. This is something you can do first thing in the morning to warm up, or right before you go to bed to wind down and calm your mind. It's excellent for a gentle total body stretch, and a great way to quiet your mind and reduce stress. Hope you enjoy!

I want to thank you so much for this video. I am 26 and have been extremely obese all of my life. I've been working on ways to change that after visiting an ashram near me, and coming to terms with the severe damage i have done and continued to do to my body, mind, and my connection with Spirit and mySelf. Yoga is very difficult for me because my mind wants to push me in to these positions thinking i can handle it, when I need to relax, listen, and breathe. I've been dying inside to do yoga and feel that peace that i know comes with it but I have not been able to. Until now. Along with obesity, I suffer chronic pain all over my body, especially my back. You have brought me extreme awareness to my body in a way that I have never experienced and I am quite the observant one. I searched Yoga in bed, in hopes to find a simple, and extremely gentle yoga that my body can handle. I only made it 10mins, but that's 10mins I haven't had before. I have subscribed to your channel and plan on watching this video daily if not more so. ........ What I am trying to say through all of my excited ramble (haha) is Thank You SO Much!!! Namaste

When I first started the bedtime yoga my belly was too large and my hips were to tight to cross my legs. Tonight was the first night I was able to cross them fully and comfortably while keeping my posture straight. I am looking forward to my next milestone reaching my shins with out curving my back. Happy hugs all.

Candance these gentle warm-ups really helped my body today. It's been a journey with my back pains. What I enjoy most about these yoga moves are the deep breathing, looking over the shoulder, pushing away from the bed and so much more. I suffer very badly from migraines particularly in the evening and before bed, they make me anxious and stress me out. But this has really helped me unwind for the first time in a very long time, thank you! I will be making a habit of doing this before bed now

I love this! For the alternate nasal breathing my occupational therapist had me put my index and middle finger on my third eye which I feel calms me a lot better. Whatever works for you though!

Thank you Candice .I have been doing this for several weeks now before bed and it helps me sleep well.I have arthritis and my legs usually ache through the night and I also have arthritis in my neck and I get aching there in the night too,but since I have been doing this I haven't woken to pain in a while.Thank you .When I am stronger I am going to try your other yoga videos..

What a nice way to start the day. I have to work on loosening my hips amd calves. I cannot sit with my legs straight ou in front of me. The muscle are way to tight. We will work on that.
Try using a yoga block or a thick rolled blanket to sit on - that's an excellent way to help w tight hips

Thank you so much for making this video! I found that some of the poses I wish had just a few more seconds added to them. Like the leg and back poses LOL I had to keep pausing to allow just a few more seconds in between. But it was a fantastic video thank you again!

I can’t breath through my nose the the first part was hard
Really helpful, but the talking is too fast. I find that trendy music (in other videos from other people) and talking fast are really distracting
